“Maria was wonderful with our little man, Kenobi, a minnie golden doodle. She welcomed him into her home and loved on him from day one. We are sure he enjoyed her dogs, all the other animals, and the spacious room to roam and play. We received pictures of him and texts every day while we were gone. He seemed relaxed, happy, and very comfortable with Maria. He had not been away from us very often, but he settled in with Maria right away. “We were so lucky to be able to book Gina to care for our cat, Phil while we were away for almost two weeks for our wedding and honeymoon. Gina is a treasure and incredible to work with - she communicates daily, sends relevant updates and is extremely detail oriented and proactive! She noticed we had some ants get into our cats food and was quick to take action and clean the bowl/area, move the food and take care of the ant problem. If anything in the house is amiss or needs attention, Gina is on it! It makes such a difference knowing that our house and most importantly our sweet cat is well taken care of - the peace of mind is everything! This volunteer work has sharpened my ability to read feline body language and provide the specific care, patience, and attention each cat deserves. 🌳Deep Roots in Feline Care My experience isn't just professional-it's personal. About: Cats require a different kind of care. Patience, awareness, and respect for their space. I’ve lived with cats my entire life and currently share my home with two, so I’m very comfortable with all personalities. Confident and social, shy and observant, or somewhere in between. I understand that trust with a cat is earned, not forced, and I approach each one on their terms. My style is calm, attentive, and low-stress. I use a fear-free approach and focus on keeping your cat’s environment consistent so they feel safe while you’re away. That means paying attention to the details that matter. Clean food and water, a well-maintained litter box, and a steady routine. I adjust to your cat. If they want play and interaction, I engage with them. If they prefer quiet company, I’m happy to give them space while still being a calm, reassuring presence nearby. Living in a multi-cat household has taught me how to read subtle cues and body language, which is especially important for more sensitive or independent cats. I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments and always prioritize their comfort and boundaries. I also know how important communication is when you’re away. You can expect thoughtful updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is comfortable and well cared for. Leaving your cat with someone else takes trust. I take that seriously and treat every cat with the same patience, respect, and care I give my own. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands cats and respects their individuality, I’d be glad to help. 🐱
“Shelly was amazing! She watched our 3 cats while we were away. She also kept up with the house and litter which was amazing because my house didn’t smell like a giant litter box when we came home. Everything was clean and fresh! Will absolutely be contacting her for future trips! Thank you so much Shelly!!”

“Professional, kind and very courteous. I could tell by the photos sent to me how very happy my pet was during my vacation. I will be booking her again in the near future. Knowing she was taking care of my pet was reassuring. My thanks”
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’ve volunteered at animal shelters since I was eight, where I gained hands on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I also fostered dogs, helping with training, socialization, and basic care. In college, I helped care for my roommate’s dog, and since then, I’ve continued dog sitting for friends and coworkers. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals, and well cared for while their owners are away. I currently work full-time but have a flexible job to be able to come home/check in at lunch time on animals. I am also able to stay in homes to ensure the pets are most comfortable. When caring for pets, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and loved in their usual routine. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, and care instructions exactly as provided. I spend quality time playing with them, giving attention, and making sure they get plenty of exercise and affection. I always keep the home tidy and ensure the pet feels calm and cared for while their owner is away.

About: My husband and I are huge pet lovers. Plus, I grew up with two doggies in my home and everyone in my family also has puppies I dogsit all the time when they go out of town. I also worked at a Vet hospital for a few months. My daughters will absolutely love having your babies with us and they will get all the cuddles 💜 I am a stay-at-home mommy of three girls who LOVE animals as well. I am home everyday with my girls. Your fur baby would be great taken care of! We have a dog friendly community, I have a small unfenced yard and safe home for them to feel comfortable and loved in! I am able to crate them if needed. My girls are super gentle and would LOVE fur friends 🤍
“Shelby is the real deal! She truly loved Halo 😇 🐶 and went over and beyond for her AND me. I got very sick and she let Halo spend the night 2 nights Halo loved Shelby too! I am so grateful to have met her and look forward to our next visit I highly recommend her 💕”

About: I’ve taken care of my dogs as well as friends and neighbors for a long time. I love meeting new pets and looking after them! I am home from college for the summer so I am mostly available anytime and I will try my best to work with your schedule! About: I have a very large fenced in yard for them to run with my two enthusiastic dogs. I manage my photography business from home, so I’m around most of the day. Message me to see if I can help. I usually respond fairly quick. My dogs will absolutely welcome your dogs into their pack. J H We live in a house in the Vero Beach with a nice fully fenced in yard. I have 2 dogs, that are use to the company. They will have a blast together! Small dogs might want to find a different sitter.
“Stephanie was very gentle with my dog Wren and sensitive to the fact that he might be scared at being separated from me with new people for the first time (he's a "velcro" dog). Although her yard is not fenced in, and no other dogs were in the house that day, I was pleased that she took Wren for a walk in the park across the street from her house, and let him play with some other dogs that were there at the time. She sent me photos of Wren during the day, and from her messages I could tell that she was interacting with him. Wren came home tired and clean (the latter being an issue when I've taken him to commercial doggie daycare businesses.) I will definitely call upon Stephanie the next time I need her service.”

“Beatriz was great with Samuel and clearly he had an active, good time during his visit, Sam has a good deal of energy and when I brought him home, he went right down for the evening . . . always a solid indicator! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Beatriz and will use her again.”

About: a local dog lover offering reliable and fun dog walking services. Whether your pup needs a quick stroll, a long adventure, or just some extra love while you’re busy, I’ll make sure they’re happy, safe, and well-exercised. Pet care is built into my daily and weekly schedule, making it a true priority. I plan my days around walk times, play sessions, and check-ins, ensuring each pet receives consistent care and attention. This structure keeps me dependable and gives your pets the routine they thrive on In my client’s home, I make sure pets are comfortable, cared for, and feel safe in their own space. I follow each pet parent’s routine closely—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or medication. I always provide fresh water, plenty of love, and send updates so you know your furry friend is happy and cared for.
“Nicole was excellent! She gave me updates throughout the day and sent me pictures. She was flexible when I needed to change some dates with her. She is a great sitter!”

About: I love animals because they bring out the softest part of me. There’s something pure about the way they trust, the way they communicate without words, and the way each one has its own little personality. Being around them makes me feel calm and connected, and I always feel a responsibility to protect them and treat them with kindness. They’re a reminder of what unconditional care looks like. My primary job will be your pet and taking care of them when you are away. I may have a few others at the same time but never too many to take the best care provided by you and your pets schedule. Caring for pets means meeting their physical needs with proper food, water, exercise, and vet care, while also giving them emotional support through patience, affection, and consistent routines. It’s about creating a safe environment, understanding their behavior, and paying attention to their individual needs so they feel healthy, secure, and loved.
About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover. I grew up having two very spoiled dogs and a handful of kitties. I learned a lot from my parents who are also huge animal lovers on how to be a great pet parent. I have an aussiedoodle, Izzie. She is the light of my life. I feel really proud of how well I take care of her from feeding her the best food, providing her with plenty of opportunities to run and socialize with people and other dogs, and loving up on her any chance I get. I’m very in tune to pet needs from making sure they stay hydrated, are being taken out for potty breaks regularly, and also being able to notice if something is not quite right with their health. I work from home full time on weekdays, so I have lots of time for drop in visits and/or walks during the day on week days. I have open availability in the evenings and on weekends. I always start out with loving up on them a bit then I follow that up with a potty break. My time with your pet will consist of a walk (based on the dog’s exercise needs) and/or playtime outside if you have a fenced in yard. Depending on your preferences and your dogs' temperament, we can find a way to get some playtime in/socialization with my dog, Izzie. She is a pro at adjusting her play/interaction style based on any other dog/dogs that she's around. If your dog isn't interested in her, she'll leave them alone. If they're super playful, she'll play all day. She's always up to date on shots and has never displayed aggression toward any other dog. Feeding is unique for every pet so that will vary based on your dogs unique feeding schedule. I am also a pro at giving medications.
“Alyssa was amazing with Fado and Roo! I was worried bc Roo can have a lot of anxiety and fear but Alyssa sent me photos and videos from the long day and I saw Roo adapted immediately. She and Fado had so much fun spending the day outside with Alyssa’s dogs and relaxing inside when tired. I will definitely bring them both back!”

I am available whenever someone needs me for boarding. I have a Cocker Spaniel puppy so I cannot stay overnight. I have a 6 foot wood fence. I go out with the dog, the first time on a leash, to judge if the dog will come when called and to introduce the yard. Each time I take the dog out I stay with the pet. Poop is cleaned up immediately. Also the pet and I play in the back yard. During boarding I do not have visitors. I keep the house doors locked.

About: We have 10+ years experience boarding in commercial facilities and in our home, in a previous state. Will worked as a dog trainer for a time, went to school for dog training & worked under a mentor, but ended up stopping just before receiving his CPDT-KA certification. You can also check out our boarding business' website (The Bone & Breakfast) to read more about my (Hailey) experience as a professional, as well as Will’s. We (met at &) both worked at a large commercial boarding facility (100+ dogs a day!) and have handled all sorts of dog breeds & personalities. From teacup Chihuahuas and Morkies to Cane Corsos, Tibetan Mastiffs & Irish Wolfhounds, we’ve worked with them all! We both have experience with administering all types of medications, including eye drops & insulin. We have experience with special needs dogs, and one of our personal pups is deaf & special needs. We have fed all sorts of diets, from prepared raw & natural prey diets, to home cooked & plain kibble. We also have experience with cats, livestock, poultry, rabbits, and some exotic pets. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! We are mostly homebodies! Hailey homeschools our kids, so other than a couple of hours here & there for errands and extracurriculars, the dogs have someone here with them. When we do have to leave the house, we have crates for dogs who are crate trained, or a dog-safe sunroom in our home. We only crate dogs who are comfortable and familiar with crate use at home. She is caring for our own pets all-day everyday, so fitting your pup into our routine will be a breeze! We have a large, fully fenced yard, and a cooled sunroom just for the dogs! We are fully insured, in addition to the Rover guarantee. We have 4 personal dogs, Junior who is a special needs mini Aussie, Ursa, a hound mix, and in 2025, we adopted Duke, a goofy red lab, and Cody, a playful terrier mix pup. Our cat Wraith is super friendly, and is fine to interact with dogs, or keep to himself if they're too interested. Our dogs are experienced in a commercial boarding facility & have been around a lot of dogs, so are fantastic companions for dogs staying with us. We accept 3-4 guest dogs at a time, and work very hard to only accept dogs at the same time who will do well with the others staying with us.
“Jessica has been the absolute best. My Zoey girl is very shy and bit tough to get going sometimes but she always does it with such gentle hands. She always sends a checkup picture after the walk and she is very punctual. 10/10 recommend her services.”

“Gonna was awesome. Being a past surgical tech made it even better, I knew she would take good care of my baby Lulu! She was kind and treated my pet as if they had been friends since her birth. She was even able to walk my dog further than I was able to which was amazing in itself. If I needed to come back to Vero Beach and needed some help, she'd the only person I would look up no matter the fees. She's a wonderful person and dog sitter!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for as long as I can remember and began pet sitting for neighbors at age twelve. About: 🐴 A Foundation in Animal Care My passion for animals started on a farm, where I grew up caring for everything from horses to barn cats and dogs. This background taught me how to handle animals of all sizes and temperaments with confidence. My love for animals only grew as I traveled the world as a child, observing how people and pets connect across different cultures. 🐶🐱🐱 Over 15 Years of Personal Dedication I believe in long-term commitment. I have been a devoted pet parent to my Chihuahua, Gatsby, since 2013, and I shared a 12-year bond with my cat, Tabasco. Currently, I’m also a proud parent to a brother-and-sister cat duo I’ve raised since 2021. Whether it’s a senior dog needing a gentle touch or energetic kittens needing play, I’ve seen and loved it all. ✅ Trusted Local Volunteer As a past volunteer at the Humane Society of Vero Beach, I’ve worked hands-on with shelter animals, focusing on socialization, exercise, and enrichment. When I am caring for your pets in your home, I treat your property with the same level of professional respect I give to my own listings. I am meticulous about: • Securing the Premises: Always ensuring doors are locked, alarms are set, and your home is exactly as you left it. • Tidy Environments: Keeping pet areas clean and organized so you return to a stress-free house. • Safety First: Checking for potential hazards like open gates or items left out that shouldn't be chewed. 📲 Trust & Communication My experience volunteering at the Humane Society of Vero Beach has trained me to recognize early signs of stress or illness. “Jeffrey takes the time to take care of the dog and build up positive experiences with your animal. I am grateful that he is patient as Zuzu is a bit stubborn. Thank you for all of your help Jeffrey.”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, and I truly cannot imagine life without them as part of the family. That is not just something I say. It is how I live. I have had cats since I was six years old, and my wife and I have shared our home with both cats and dogs our entire adult lives. Right now, our little crew includes our ten year old dog Nara and our two younger cats, Chiri and Lulu. Living in a multi-pet household has taught me how to read different personalities, manage different energy levels, and create a calm, respectful environment where everyone feels secure. I do not see pets as property. They are sentient, emotional members of the family with their own routines, preferences, and boundaries. When I care for your pet, I approach them with patience, attentiveness, and genuine respect. I adjust to their temperament. High energy or shy. Playful or independent. Young or senior. My goal is always the same. Make them feel safe, understood, and comfortable in their own space. My wife brings years of pet sitting experience and previously worked as a dog trainer and consultant. I have learned a great deal from her about behavior, structure, positive reinforcement, and how to respond calmly in different situations. That experience has shaped how I show up with animals. Steady. Observant. Consistent. When caring for your pets, I focus on: • Keeping routines consistent • Providing appropriate play and enrichment • Maintaining clean food, water, and litter areas • Offering calm companionship when that is what they need • Sending thoughtful updates and photos so you feel completely at ease Leaving your pets in someone else’s care requires trust. I take that responsibility seriously. I will treat your pets the way I treat my own. With patience, kindness, and real affection. If you are looking for someone who understands that your pets are family, I would love to help. 🐾 My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give your pet the time and attention they deserve. I focus on keeping their routine consistent, with regular potty breaks, play when they’re up for it, and plenty of companionship rather than quick, rushed visits. I’m available for afternoon and evening visits, weekend care, overnight stays in your home, house sitting, and extended care when needed. Whether your pet needs a few check-ins during the day, weekend coverage, or overnight care, I’m happy to work around what fits best for you. I aim to be present, attentive, and easy to communicate with, and I’ll send regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is comfortable and well cared for. If you have specific timing or needs, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to find a setup that works well for you and your pets. 🐾 Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for your pets, whether in your home or mine. In your home, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, walking preferences, and any household guidelines you provide. I’m attentive to details like doors, gates, leashes, and secure areas so your pet stays safe at all times, and I treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. My approach is calm, patient, and low-stress. I use fear-free handling techniques and pay close attention to behavior and subtle changes, especially for pets who may be more sensitive or require extra care. I’m also certified in Dog CPR & First Aid, so I’m prepared to recognize and respond appropriately if any concerns arise. I believe in clear, proactive communication. If anything seems off, I’ll reach out right away so you always feel informed and at ease. I aim to create an environment where every pet feels safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. They’re family, and I treat them that way. 🐾
About: I grew up around horses and dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I now balance a desk-based career with pet sitting and dog walking, which is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I’ve cared for dogs with a range of personalities and routines, and I aim to make the experience easy and stress-free for both you and your pet. When I lived in Colorado, I went through extensive training with my own dog, which gave me a strong foundation in structure, consistency, and reading behavior. I now have the best boy, Scruff, and I bring that same level of care and awareness to every dog I work with. What I Provide: * Reliable, consistent care! * Walks and visits tailored to your dog’s energy level and routine. * Updates and photos so you always know how things are going. * Careful attention to behavior, mood, and any changes. * Respectful, clean care in your home and for your pet’s space. * Happy follow detailed instructions, routines, and preferences. * Will adapt to your dog’s positive and negative markers and work with cues that are already familiar to your family. What Sets Me Apart: * Lifelong experience with a variety of pets with a strong instinct for animal behavior. * Hands-on training experience, with a focus on structure and consistency. * Experience caring for a senior dog, so I understand patience, routine, and trust. * Calm, observant approach that works well for both energetic and more sensitive dogs. * Clear, consistent communication so you feel confident while you’re away. I’m very selective about who cares for my own dog, Scruff, and hold myself to that same standard! I’m always happy to do a meet and greet to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone! I currently work part-time, which allows me to maintain a flexible and dependable schedule for pet care. I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits, and I prioritize consistency for pets who thrive on routine. Because I have control over my day-to-day schedule, I’m intentional about the bookings I take on to ensure each pet receives reliable, attentive care. This also allows me to be responsive and flexible when needs shift or plans change. I prioritize safety, consistency, and making sure your pet feels comfortable in their environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and instructions so things feel as normal and stress-free as possible, whether that’s feeding, walks, or any specific preferences your dog is used to. I’m mindful of the details that matter, like secure leashing, safe entry and exit, and leaving your home exactly as I found it. I also keep a close eye on behavior and energy levels, and I’ll communicate anything notable so you’re never left wondering how things are going. If caring for a pet in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and structured environment where pets can settle in comfortably. My dog, Scruff, is well-trained, and I ensure any interactions are safe, gradual, and a good fit for both dogs, though I don’t do introductions without pet parents first! At the end of the day, I understand how much trust this takes. I treat every pet and home with the same level of care and respect that I expect for my own.

“Kathleen has been a lifesaver, stepped in at the very last minute after I began fostering a dog and needed coverage for a long work day 2x a week. Raider obviously adores her and she is prompt, thorough and very loving with Raider. I also scheduled an extra visit when I had an unexpected meeting and she was able and willing! She has had to roll with some issues as he is a new foster, out of shelter for 6 months and we are just getting a routine down. Thank you Kathleen!”

“Judy is the best! I had hip surgery & needed someone to walk my dog Roxy. On very short notice, I sent a request to Judy on Rover & she quickly responded that she could help me out. She came the next day & when Roxy & I met her, you could just tell how much Judy truly loves dogs! She got down on the ground & Roxy was all over her with kisses. I always said that dogs know what people are genuine dog lovers & who are not. Roxy knew right away that Judy was the walker for her. I totally agree! Judy’s been walking Roxy for over 2 weeks now…she is always on time & is constantly in contact with me. I highly recommend her!”

About: My best friends have always been my animals. I was lucky enough to be raised around horses, cows, donkeys, goats, dogs, and of course cats. I have a large ranch style property where we go for walks throughout the day. An initial meet and greet is appreciated so your kids know me and realize they are safe and one of your dirty shirts is always appreciated so they have your scent. I'm also licensed and insured. I'm a homebody and have a ranch style property. I'm up before the sun and start the day. The "kids" are fed and walked first thing and then we go for walks through the day. Its good exercise for all of us... and they can watch the horses. They live in the home like it's their own. I've been told they get excited when they know their mom and dad are dropping them off. I watch how they react and me and the kids go from there. The property is very large. I even have a fake fire hydrant in the back yard (which is pretty cute). The neighbors horses are always fun to watch and pet in the morning. It's very calm here.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm, I cared for everything from small livestock to beloved family pets, giving me hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. Over the years, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, pot-bellied pigs, sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, cows, reptiles, and amphibians. Most recently, I've provided care for senior dogs and understand the extra patience, compassion, and attention they need as they age. My diverse background allows me to confidently care for pets of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. Pet care fits well into my current routine. I'm currently attending school to become an airline pilot, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. For house sitting and overnight stays, some advance coordination may be needed since I'm a single dad. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and accommodating whenever possible. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or mine, I treat your animals, property, and routines with the utmost respect. I take the time to learn each pet's unique needs, maintain consistent routines, and provide attentive care to help them feel secure and happy. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind, knowing their furry family members are being cared for with kindness, dignity, and genuine affection.

“Nikki & Michael have offered Chloe the perfect "home away from home" during her four stays with them over the past year. They keep us updated with messages and photos of Chloe. When we drop Chloe off, she is eager to run into their welcoming home! Chloe is great with people, but a bit of an alpha with other dogs. The fact that she is the sole boarder makes it easier for everyone. Thank you again for your professional care and concern. Michele A.”
