I was a wreck trying to figure out how to navigate the situation when I found Tracey who was only 5 mins away. She graciously took our Sophia in, who had never been away from us before, despite her being very nervous. I was also not 100% sure about the potty training situation since she had not stayed anywhere away from home before, but Tracey reassured me that it would be fine and took her in so we could enjoy our trip; mostly stress free. I was also a little apprehensive as well as my little girl and she sent us pictures and updates so we could have peace of mind during her stay. “Patience IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She is very Loving & caring for you fur baby, This is the first time we have left our baby with someone other than family, & we were worried how we would all do. After meeting Patience we felt he was in excellent hands. She was in constant contact by sending pictures of him throughout the day. He was there for 2 weeks & settled in really good after couple days. He gets anxious when we leave him anywhere but Patience calmed our fears. By day 3 he was rolling on his back playing catch with a baby. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PATIENCE FOR ANY & ALL CARE NEEDS. Our fur baby is 16 & really LOVED IT THERE. I work a full time job at Gulfarium so I typically am up early in the morning and would be getting back in town (pending the shift) around 5:30. I try to mimic the same care as their owners as best as possible so it is not a change for the animals. That way they can stay in routine and feel comfortable.

For me, it's almost instinct. Family isn't a question of blood or legal relation; it's who you live and grow up with. If you have only one animal, you probably have a reason; I can keep them away from other animals(domestic or wild) if required. I know that pets need constant supervision, like a toddler, but with better hair. I will make sure they get breakfast and dinner(and lunch, if they get lunch), potty time every couple hours, and exercise(walks and play). I will also clean up after them, and hide meds in food if necessary.

About: I have cared for and trained my dog, my mother’s and grandmother’s dogs. I have also provided a variety of personal home-care services to senior citizens, special needs children & nannied off and on throughout my early adult life. I love caring for and helping others. I substitute teach during the school year and I would love to care for pets during the summer time! It is my goal to at least work part time on top of another part time job! :) I have an apartment where I can keep pets for a short amount of time; we have a nice walking area and a dog park.

About: I've had a special place in my heart for dogs since I was a kid. I was the designated puppy trainer, groomer, and bestie for our family pups growing up. I have my own sweet mini labradoodle, Lainey, who loves company! I've helped with family and friends' pets my whole life, and I'm excited to have a new schedule these days that allows me to help out pet parents on Rover. I currently study from home, so I have plenty of time for your pup! I don't have any obligations away from home, so if your pup needs a little extra attention, feel free to say so, and I'll accommodate the best I can. I have a roomy apartment and a screened-in porch. When we're not on walks or at the park, my pup loves hanging out on the porch with the fans on for some fresh air (door to the inside kept cracked open). My apartment is toddler-proofed and safe, and I'm always around to keep an eye on your pup. We have plenty of chew toys, treats, and fun to go around :)
