About: Hello! My name is Lindsay and I’ve been working with rescues around Jacksonville for the past 20 years. I started at humane society and worked with a few locals rescues since and have been around all kinds of dogs and temperaments. I am beginning my dog walking and check in business and will expand to dog boarding for special dogs that can’t always go to traditional Boarding. I understand a lot of dogs have special needs from anxiety, not being friendly with other dogs, fears of storms and fireworks, and even medication treatments. I have personally fostered hundreds of dogs from puppies to moms to seniors and am acutely aware that sometimes a walk or check in is a bit more. I understand the guilt of a dog parent not being able to check in on their babies or give them enough time during the work week and I’m here to help with that. I look forward to creating a consistent client base of wonderful dog families that may be overlooked or unable to be cared for by the standard walker. I am happy to take your dog to parks to socialize safely, handle vet appointments better than your husband or even just reassure you that you are doing your best as a pet parent. While not yet training certified, I have completed training with several trainers and fosters and can help with the basics and/or continue your style of training for additional reinforcement. Above all your dogs happiness and health is the most important. I also believe creating a bond of trust and leadership with your dogs is important. I ensure your pet doesn’t get overheated and takes breaks as needed. Weather is funny in Florida and I will make sure you pet can walk, potty and play safely.

I have been a dental Assistant for the past 30 years, I’m more than capable in keeping calm in a tense situation. Our Dental practice was pet friendly. I was the person in charge of handling all of the pets. I had a Great Dane panic at the sound of the drill, I soothed him throughout the appointment. I’m also a trained Dog Walker. About: I have had the joy of having dogs and cats as my companions my entire life! Including 2 painted turtles and fish. I've always had a love for animals and nature. I absolutely enjoy meeting new pet friends of all kinds. I have been pet sitting here in Jacksonville for 3 years now and have had the pleasure of caring for parrots, fish, cats, and dogs. A client of mine has a cat that needs medication as well as my own dog with allergies. I've done pet sitting for my own veterinarian's small farm with ducks, chickens, mini ponies, and mini donkey's as well. I now basic training as my own dog attended puppy classes at the K9 Obedience Club of Jacksonville. In my younger years, I worked in a veterinarian clinic for 2 years. I took a different path and started a career in the medical field in a sleep lab and am now getting back to what I truly love. Pet care! Either way, I have a nurturing nature and will treat your pets just like my own! I am a stay-at-home mom currently. I pick my daughter up from school weekly and am unavailable from 1pm-2:30pm due to the commute. Otherwise, I'm available to care for or play with your pet any other time during the week. I am available anytime on the weekends. I have a large fenced in yard with two friendly dogs for your pets to play with. I crate my own dogs and can do the same for yours if need be. I give my own dog medication for her allergies and can do the same for your own. I never leave outdoor play unattended as I do have a pool. If feeding time is needed, I separate all so as to not cause issues. I give lots of love and attention!

The only thing i would appreciate is your fur babies particular food &/or favorite blankey or toys (although benji shares very well with his toys but who wants to slob on something someone else has already slobbed on lol - are they dogs or hoomans?) We have weekly fieldtrips - a pup cup form starbucks followed by the beach!(: I offer self care dog sundays as well (break out the coconut oil & paw balm , cucumbers anyone ?)

About: I’ve been around many kinds of animals my whole life, including dogs, turtles, rabbits, fish, and guinea pigs. My childhood dog, Zoey, was an older German Shepherd who really shaped my understanding of and love for animals. I grew up in a very animal-loving family where caring for pets was seen as an important part of building responsibility and character. I’m very comfortable with big dogs and used to handling high-energy personalities. Now as an adult, I have my own dog, Aries, a sweet and playful 3-year-old Pitbull Lab mix, who I’ve had since she was a puppy. Being a dog owner myself helps me understand how important it is to fully trust the person caring for your pet. I’ve personally used Rover and had great experiences, and I’m excited to provide that same level of care, communication, and reliability to others. I genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that means going on walks, playing, or just cuddling and keeping them company. I’m currently studying biology and hope to work in the veterinary field one day, so caring for animals truly means a lot to me. I am currently just a student, so I have plenty of time for your pets! I'm home the majority of the time, except for my saturday classes and I'm available any day of the week! If I'm never not home either my sister or father will step in. My home has a big open first floor where dogs are free to hang out and make themselves comfortable. They’re also welcome to sleep in my bedroom if they like being close at night. I don’t allow pets on the couch, but they’ll always have their own comfy spots to relax. I do have a yard, and while it isn’t fenced, I use a secure leash setup so dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time with supervision. I also use my open garage as a great shaded space for my dog to relax for 2-3 hours a day. I supervise our Ring Cameras frequently. Fresh water and a comfortable resting area are always provided.

About: My siblings would ask me to babysit their dogs while they were away, and I always made it a point to leave their homes as I found it. I’ve worked in childcare and taught karate for three years now (not saying is the same thing) so your pet will be receiving the attention and play they need. Karate lessons too if they’d like🙌! I work part time at a martial arts school. Tuesday and Thursday nights I am working for certain. Throughout the day I’m available to walk/babysit/etc. I have work on my laptop so I can take whatever I need to a home and house sit at the same time. I always want to keep an eye on them, making frequent checks to see how they’re doing. I’d like to be informed of any quirks or habits I should be aware of so the pet is comfortable and receives the best care possible. If they want to play, I’m so ready to play!

Weather is funny in Florida and I will make sure you pet can walk, potty and play safely.
About: I am a responsible individual who has taken care of animals from different types of dogs, cats, goats, hamsters, etc. I am 26 years old and when I was receiving my bachelor's degree in Health Science , I would go to the humane society in my free time to foster the dogs or kittens from there. This would be a great bonding for the both of us and I had gained knowledge from the variety of breeds I've watched over the years. For a few examples, I have watched golden doodles, border collies, lab, golden retrievers, domestic shorthairs, pit bulls, German shepherds, etc. One summer for a few months I routinely took care of a blind and deaf cat and the other cat that was there. I accommodated to the special requirements of this specific cat to ensure she knew where her food/ water bowl was as well as her litter box. In the area where I had lived for a while, I was fostering an Australian shepherd who was older age and had bowel issues. They had given me the medication to take care of him and I felt comfortable and responsible enough to do so. During my week, I have structured hours for my job currently that allow flexibility for availability to watch your loving furballs! I am available for every evening and weekends I am available at any time. I stay active so I would be able to make sure your pet gets a healthy amount of exercise. As well having a routine structure for myself already allows the discipline and knowing that your pets would be fed on time. I am in a safe neighborhood, I live at a duplex that has a fenced-in decent-sized backyard. This allows easy access to their bathroom breaks and playtime with them. The neighborhood stays at a quiet volume and has areas to go on safe walks with the pets. I will ensure to keep to the schedule of their typical day-to-day routine so they feel as comfortable as possible and can still have some fun! I am responsive and will always have my phone or apple watch on me to receive text/calls asap.

About: Hello! My name is Lindsay and I’ve been working with rescues around Jacksonville for the past 20 years. I started at humane society and worked with a few locals rescues since and have been around all kinds of dogs and temperaments. I am beginning my dog walking and check in business and will expand to dog boarding for special dogs that can’t always go to traditional Boarding. I understand a lot of dogs have special needs from anxiety, not being friendly with other dogs, fears of storms and fireworks, and even medication treatments. I have personally fostered hundreds of dogs from puppies to moms to seniors and am acutely aware that sometimes a walk or check in is a bit more. I understand the guilt of a dog parent not being able to check in on their babies or give them enough time during the work week and I’m here to help with that. I look forward to creating a consistent client base of wonderful dog families that may be overlooked or unable to be cared for by the standard walker. I am happy to take your dog to parks to socialize safely, handle vet appointments better than your husband or even just reassure you that you are doing your best as a pet parent. While not yet training certified, I have completed training with several trainers and fosters and can help with the basics and/or continue your style of training for additional reinforcement. Above all your dogs happiness and health is the most important.
