“Jessie came to the rescue after another sitter we had booked (Allison Y) canceled on us, just 15 hours before our week long trip. She responded to our request immediately and offered a meet and greet at our home since she was out running errands. The drive was out of her way - way above and beyond. It was obvious when we met her, she loved animals. She was genuine, kind, friendly and asked all the appropriate questions. Because we were leaving the next morning, she offered to take our pup with her to save us some time in the morning. She administered medication for our dog Mel and made sure she was comfortable with her 2 dogs. Mel took to her 2 dogs right away with no issues, enjoying runs in their large fenced in backyard. Jessie gave us peace of mind during our trip, sending pictures and videos throughout the day. Pictures of Mel were proof that she was happy and having a good time. “Vizslas are notoriously aloof and skeptical with new people. Moose is also currently in his angsty tween stage. We had a few previous meetings and greets where he decided he wasn’t a good match with the prospective dog walkers. Jordan arrived on time dressed both professionally and appropriately for a first meeting and walk with a high energy dog. She took the time to introduce herself, meet and bond with Moose, and was very easy to get along with and knowledgeable about not only working dogs but also the Rover program itself. She immediately put both myself and moose at ease. She spent time in the back yard playing fetch with him (he tends to make you feel like you’re an automatic tennis ball thrower) and then took him for a nice walk. She quickly learned his hand signals and Dutch and English voice commands.
