About: I worked in the dog grooming industry for 20 years. I've bathed and walked every kind of dog! I love animals and at my age walking is all I'm up for now lol I'm retired but still need the love of a dog. The variety I had at the grooming shop has left me wanted it again. I have 2 small older dogs whom I've had since they we're puppies. But they sleep a lot and aren't up to walking anymore... So this is a happy alternative for me. “If you have cats (and I'm sure it applies to dogs), I don't know that you'll find a better pet sitter than Allison. I have had multiple cat sitters over the years and no one comes close. Allison came by beforehand and took nearly an hour just to get to know the cats and their habits, likes, dislikes, routine, etc. Allison was incredibly communicative before, during, and after her visits. She sent lots of pictures and kept me in the loop on what was going on. She is one of the few sitters that has sent me pictures of the cats not just hiding or under the bed. She actually got the cats to come out and sit with her - which is something I don't think a lot of other cat sitters even bother to do. It was wonderful being able to travel without worrying about the cats and knowing they were in good hands. I cannot recommend Allison enough. I love four legged furry friends; giving them walks, playing with them and making them feel comfortable. I have always adopted rescue dogs so have a good sense of how to take care of apprehensive dogs, as well as hyperactive or dogs that need more attention and a patient trainer. I have amateur experience training dogs and have learned tips from my sister who is an experienced dog trainer and dog walker. I have chickens at home and have cared for furry, scaled and feathered friends in the past, I love them all. We had a few previous meetings and greets where he decided he wasn’t a good match with the prospective dog walkers. Jordan arrived on time dressed both professionally and appropriately for a first meeting and walk with a high energy dog. She took the time to introduce herself, meet and bond with Moose, and was very easy to get along with and knowledgeable about not only working dogs but also the Rover program itself. She immediately put both myself and moose at ease. She spent time in the back yard playing fetch with him (he tends to make you feel like you’re an automatic tennis ball thrower) and then took him for a nice walk. She quickly learned his hand signals and Dutch and English voice commands. He was very disappointed to see his new friend go and is looking forward to his next adventure with her- as he has been missing his daily runs with me and now has a new awesome exercise buddy! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!”
About: I am a huge animal lover- I currently have a few cats and dogs (high energy Belgian malinois and huskies), as well as a dozen quail. Previously, I’ve had multiple birds, turtles, fish, and chickens! I am extremely experienced with all types of caregiving and love doing it! I regularly take my dogs to fast cats, any outdoors activity like paddle boarding, runs most mornings, etc! I have extensive experience dealing with dogs with various medical issues. One of my dogs was diagnosed with a severe case of Addison's disease, requiring daily medications. My other elderly dog has frequent seizures, so I am confident in my ability is caring for special case animals. I am available for sitting, walking, or overnight boarding at any time, any day! I have completely open availability including late nights or early mornings. Safety is the most important thing- I carry my own pet insurance that covers more than just rover's. While on walks, I do not allow dogs to meet other strangers or animals in any situation. I always carry spare leashes and an air horn.

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, so I’m very comfortable with them and can happily accommodate their needs. I’m ready to help out in any way that I can, and my schedule is very flexible! My schedule is extremely flexible, I’m never away from home for more than a couple hours at a time, so your pet will get lots of quality time and attention. I have a fenced yard so your dog will have lots of space to play, but will always be leashed and supervised. There’s also a dog park down the road from me for additional playtime and social time if your pet prefers! The house is already pet-proofed and dogs are welcome on the couch and in the bed.

About: I HAVE MILITARY BASE ACCESS!! I have always grown up with dogs and love them all. I have done very mild training with my own pets, and like to pride myself in getting dogs to take their pills. I think dogs deserve all the cuddles and love hanging out with the sweet babies! I currently have a full time job 7am-4pm.
