When I was a 20-year-old student at Florida State University, I brought home my own Mini Doxie, Lil Man Lynyrd Skynyrd, who became my absolute best friend for 16.5 wonderful years before peacefully crossing over the Rainbow Bridge to reunite with our other beloved family members—Sasha, Kona, Captain, Charlie, Bob Marley, Oakley, Lucy, and Mighty Jack Jackson. Today, I also help care for my parents' 16-year-old Mini Dachshund, Camo, who has been fully blind since birth (PRA), and was Lynyrd's very best buddy. Over the years, I've been fortunate to care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, including those with special needs such as blindness, diabetes, missing limbs, cataracts, and allergies. My special-needs and four (and three) legged friends have always found a special place in my heart. I truly believe that every animal has their own story, personality, and unique needs. I am patient, compassionate, attentive, and understand the trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else's care. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, extra snuggles, medication, or simply a calm and loving companion, I will care for them as if they were one of my own. My Doxie crossed over the rainbow bridge recently, and I miss having furry friends in my home. I cared for my dogs in different ways based on their medical needs, personalities ect… I live in a two story townhome now, and do not currently have any pets, but do have two small young children. Dogs must be family oriented or overnights.

I developed training and Pet Care skills all under the mentorship of the certified dog trainer while employed at her business. I have handled and worked with multiple dog breeds and their personalities. I have a calm demeanor around pets which is reassuring to them. My instinct is to look after their needs and their comfort at all times. Ultimately, the proper care and safety of the client's pet(s) helps to ensure a successful ongoing relationship. I am employed part time, however, I can accommodate pet visits, overnights and walks on Tuesdays and Fridays as well as on weekends. I am somewhat flexible on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after 2:30 p.m. When taking care of pets in clients homes I tend to their needs by frequent outdoor breaks or walks. Should the pet require medications, I can administer them accordingly. I make sure they are hydrating and keep to their feeding schedules. Their play time is equally as important along with adequate rest.
