About: I have taken care of horses, cows, cats, dogs, birds, turtles and fish. I love all animals and know how stressful it can be to leave them when you have to leave them. I'm retired and have the time to love other pets other than my own. I wanted to volunteer at the human society, but my husband said no! He knows I would take home too many and I know he's right! I'm pretty good following instructions, plus I have some common sense. I can pretty much sense when a fur baby is happy or sad or sick.

About: My family are very much dog enthusiast though I've been more drawn to cats ever seen I had my first cat at 9 years old. I own five cats at the moment though one of them acts like a caine. My cats are friendly and mind their business when I overnight board other animals. Cleaning after cats do not bother me. I daily change 6 cat litter boxes. About: I’ve always had pets growing up. Sometimes up to 5 dogs at a time and horses too! So I have lots of experience with animals of various sizes. From chihuahuas and cocker spaniels to German Shepherds and poodles. I currently own a very friendly sterilized full sized golden doodle. He loves all dogs, humans and human puppies and he is down to play non-stop or nap all afternoon. Either one is fine with him. My dog is up to date on vaccines and flea + tick medication. I live in a house on .25 acres with 6ft fenced back yard. Large couch with pup-covers. Kiddie pool available for those who like to swim. About: Growing up my family always had cats and dogs, so I’ve been around them my whole life. Pets bring so much love and fun into your life, they are a part of the family and they are so important. I will care for your pet like they are my own. I have a 6 year old poodle named Lola who I love with my whole heart. About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of two girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. I currently live in a large three bedroom. The property is out in the country, but only a few miles away from Gainesville, so it's far enough to be away from the sounds and stress of the city without really being in the middle of nowhere. It's not the fanciest place, in need of remodeling, but it is calm, comfortable, and pet friendly. There is no smoking inside. The property is not fenced, so I will be keeping everyone inside, except for supervised walks, etc. I am able to board cats, most dogs, and other animals as well. I work from home in addition to doing this, so when I do have a furry guest, I am home twenty four hours a day. I like to actually spend time with the animals I have visiting, so if you have a super playful dog- or one that just likes to hang out on the couch next to someone- I'd probably be a good match. If I am not boarding anyone at the moment, I can walk dogs, feed cats, etc, as well, as long as you are not too far away from where I live. Things I require: 1. I need to meet your animals first (especially for dogs). 2. If I don't feel comfortable , or I feel like an animal is not comfortable with me, I will not confirm the booking. Animals are just like people, we all have those we like and don't like, so don't take it personal if I decline a booking. 3. I do need emergency contact and vet information. I hope I never have to deal with any emergency, but it is better to be prepared and ready, than to be running around scrambling if something does happen. 4. Of course, I need as much food, etc, as is needed for the stay. Things I offer: 1. Lots of attention. Of course, some animals- especially some cats- aren't really keen on it, and that's okay! But if they are, I love to play with my guests! 2. I don't mix animals from different families. 3. I don't charge extra for extra cats, and I only charge a little bit extra for extra dogs. I have been doing this off and on for some time now, and while I don't have as many clients as I want to have, my reviews are good and solid for a reason. I have my own two cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own two are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are less traveled, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority.
About: I have many years experience with dogs. I currently have a German Shepard pup who is like one of our children. I believe in healthy, homemade treats and lots of exercise! Walks are a favorite of ours as well as homemade ice cream treats in warmer months. In cooler months, we have a heated garage to play in and still do walks, just shorter. I have 2 small children who love animals and are respectful. I am a big fan that animals should be treated with love and respect. About: I not only grew up around dogs, but I’ve worked in animal shelters and a pet resort, where I was responsible for the needs of dogs and cats. I earned 44 hours of volunteer work at the Humane Society in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where I gave tours to potential dog owners. I worked at Pet Suites and LifeLine, where I ensured all pets received their food and/or medicine in a timely manner. I have fostered dogs for Angels Among Us and found homes for all of them.
