About: There has literally never been a day in my life where I have lived without a cat in my house. In 2019, a coworker rehomed my fur baby Ashe (pictured) to me, thus sparking my experience in cat care, which continues today with Ashe and my boy cat, Smokey! About: I have utmost respect (and lots of love!) for all animals. I truly view them as real friends and equals. With experience, I have also learned how to set and maintain good (and firm - when necessary) boundaries. Dogs have been trusted members of my family since I was a child. I have cared for senior rescue dogs; I have socialized puppies; I have taught reserved dogs new tricks; and I have taught stubborn dogs to sit and wait. I have admittedly less history with cats, but just as much respect and care for them as any other animal. I do currently have one close cat companion (we used to be roommates, and have been best buds ever since). As with all animals, I find that the respect and love I give to the pets I interact with is reciprocated - and often multiplied! As a person who is both adventurous and empathetic, I am generally very well attuned to the health and wellbeing of those around me, and I really enjoy taking dogs for walks almost as much as they do! I also like to play, and I can handle all kinds of doggy games. Big dogs welcome! I am an early riser - morning walks are my favorite! From day to day, I am generally very flexible; I work part-time as an independent handyman (furniture assembly, TV mounting, etc). I can make almost anytime work, as long as we can agree in advance. About: I love all animals and genuinely enjoy taking care of your fur family member. I grew up on a farm taking care of multiple animals at a time, have rescued dozens of animals throughout my life and currently have 2 of my own. I used to train puppies and have done obedience training course before. My close friend has a senior dog (13 years old) that I have also helped take care of multiple occasions which included giving medication, cleaning up accidents, taking on frequent pee breaks, etc. I’m able to provide around-the-clock care for your babies throughout the day. I’m very flexible and happy to assist with pick-up and drop-off, baths if needed, administering medication, and more. Ideally, I’d love to meet you in advance to ensure we’re a great fit, though I prefer not to have our first meeting occur during the initial visit. Please note that I only accept pets who do well with other animals in the home and are fully potty trained. If you have a puppy who isn’t quite there yet, I kindly ask that you disclose this in advance so I can decide on a case-by-case basis. Lastly, I expect all pets to be on flea and tick prevention to ensure the safety of all animals in my home. If this isn’t the case, please let me know ahead of time. I look forward to connecting with you and meeting your babies! I live in front of Baldwin Park so I have access to one of the largest dog parks in Orlando, including walking the 2.5 mile lake. My complex also has a smaller dog park.

About: Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. I firmly believe pets are not toys, and much more like our own kids, deserving of care, compassion, joy and attention. I have 17+ years experience taking care of and loving French bulldogs and pugs, who notoriously require extra responsibility, attention and instruction, as they can be stubborn and prone to health and breathing issues (often brought on by heat). I have cared for senior dogs who deserve nothing but love towards the end of their lives, and also puppies who need time spent on training and feeling safe, and lots of play and activity to stimulate their growing minds. I am a graduate student, with flexible availability between Saturday to Tuesday, during my off days, when I’ll be studying from home, often lounging and relaxing in my space. Having a pet to look after, feed and care for would not only be a very welcomed time commitment, but would make my space feel even more homely and bring me joy. About: At the age of 6, I began to regularly foster kittens with my mom and fell in love with taking care of animals and learning about them. I started to get little information books about cats and dogs so I was prepared and it came into practice when I would notice a lost dog or one that didn't have a home and providing them with shelter and care. I've met many different personalities whether they are a lost or unhoused dog or taking care of them for a friend or someone. I'm currently a college student who runs a very small crochet business and all of my classes, as of right now, are online so my availability is definitely very open to be able to take care of your furry friend! I have always had a deep connection with animals ever since I was a kid. I grew up homeschooled and something that my mom had me do very young was fostering kittens and taking care of dogs that were lost or didn't have a home. We also would watch this series called, Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan and sometimes I would independently watch episodes of My Cat from Hell on YouTube. Something that I noticed when watching these shows is that the animal is typically never actually misbehaved but instead misunderstood. I feel as if being a good sitter is being empathic to every single animal and listening to their wants and needs and although there is a small language barrier, it is important to know that they are always communicating with us. There are very subtle movements that can portray whether an animal is having fun, hungry, distressed, etc. and that's something that I always try to pay attention to with animals to make sure that they feel safe and content. I believe leading with your intuition is something that you must do and to tell whether an animal wants enrichment or to relax. I will always strive to provide a safe and most comfortable environment for them. Also, I definitely understand the fear of allowing someone to watch your pet (I've definitely felt that way when leaving on vacation for my cats) and I want to give you everything that I expect from a sitter. I will be sure to give photo updates, and respect routines that have been established.
About: I have 4 cats and 1 beautiful White Shepherd. I love animals and that’s why I am here to help you with yours while you are at work, traveling, or maybe just need a vacation to take care of yourself. I myself have had to leave my baby dog in boarding sometimes for travel and honestly he never was the same when I picked him up. That’s why I decided to help other taking care of their furry friends while they can’t and care for them with the same love their owners give them. Please read the following: I am accessible by phone all the time, and I love taking pictures, so you can expect to get lots of updates of how your dog is doing! Your dog’s stay will not overlap with other dogs so your dog will receive the care and attention he or she deserves! - DAYCARE: The neighborhood is very pet friendly. Doggy bags nearby. - WALKS: Can personally walk your dog up to 2 miles. We stay active! Give your dog the walk he/she deserves while you're away at work or on vacation. - DOGGY BAGS / DOGGY BOWLS: Please provide the necessary items your dog needs while away. It's a good idea to reserve dates as soon as you know you need me! We can schedule a time to meet briefly before the first stay so we can discuss details and get you familiar with my home. In your booking request, please include your drop off and pick up times. Check out my rate and time guidelines above. I'm very flexible on times with a couple exceptions, which can be discussed. Please send your dog with their food (either pre-portioned or with a measuring scoop/cup), their treats, leash and collar and any other items such as toys. Weekly routine includes waking up, several walks during the day, constant updates to clients and ensuring there's a happy exciting day every day. The day varies as the client or pet! “So grateful to have found Mackenzie! We had an amazing Rover when I first moved to Florida who no longer does it. I’ve tried three others since before finding Mackenzie and none of them were a fit.
