“Lisa took care of our pups for 10 days while we were on vacation. Our 13 year old had never been boarded before and so I wanted to find a home that she would feel comfortable in. I had visited a commercial boarding shelter in town and it felt like a pound to me and I knew they would both hate it! Lisa sent us updates and pictures every single day while they were there and though it wasn’t exactly home for them, it was the closest thing to home we could have asked for. They both had a great time, Plus the price was so much more reasonable than what the boarding facility was going to be. “There aren’t enough stars to rate how incredible Kim is. I was very nervous about leaving my 9.5 month old puppy Izzy while I went away. I needed someone who would only watch one dog at a time and who is home during the day. I did a search and found that people say they only do one pet at a time but after initial contact, they disclosed that they won’t. Kim, on the other hand, was VERY firm that Izzy would be her only guest. I was able to meet Kim prior and see where Izzy would be. Izzy quickly made herself at home because Kim’s home has dog toys, beds and comfy places for any size dog. I knew I made the right choice. Kim is amazing. I dropped Izzy off at our agreed upon time with personal food, favorite toys and treats and favorite bedding. and I felt really comfortable leaving. And Izzy was thrilled with this situation! She had the run of the place. The two of them bonded and Kim loved my baby while I couldn’t. And it is genuine. She really did enjoy having my girl as company. I received many updates with pictures. Izzy was sleeping in the bed, allowed on the furniture, cuddling and loving Kim just like at home. It was clear that Izzy’s vacation might have been better than my time away! When I picked Izzy up she was happy to see me but was a bit reluctant to say goodbye to Kim LOL. That’s when you know your pup is telling you they had a great time. If you need a dog sitter, I can’t recommend Kim highly enough. She will do all she can to make your pup her priority and to love your fur baby as if s/he is hers. Infinite stars if possible. 💜”

About: There has literally never been a day in my life where I have lived without a cat in my house. In 2019, a coworker rehomed my fur baby Ashe (pictured) to me, thus sparking my experience in cat care, which continues today with Ashe and my boy cat, Smokey! Additionally, I have experience administering liquid medication and pills to middle-age and elderly cats (via food/pill pocket or manually as a last resort). About: I have utmost respect (and lots of love!) for all animals. I truly view them as real friends and equals. With experience, I have also learned how to set and maintain good (and firm - when necessary) boundaries. Dogs have been trusted members of my family since I was a child. I have cared for senior rescue dogs; I have socialized puppies; I have taught reserved dogs new tricks; and I have taught stubborn dogs to sit and wait. I have admittedly less history with cats, but just as much respect and care for them as any other animal. I do currently have one close cat companion (we used to be roommates, and have been best buds ever since). As with all animals, I find that the respect and love I give to the pets I interact with is reciprocated - and often multiplied! As a person who is both adventurous and empathetic, I am generally very well attuned to the health and wellbeing of those around me, and I really enjoy taking dogs for walks almost as much as they do! About: Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. I firmly believe pets are not toys, and much more like our own kids, deserving of care, compassion, joy and attention. I have 17+ years experience taking care of and loving French bulldogs and pugs, who notoriously require extra responsibility, attention and instruction, as they can be stubborn and prone to health and breathing issues (often brought on by heat). I have cared for senior dogs who deserve nothing but love towards the end of their lives, and also puppies who need time spent on training and feeling safe, and lots of play and activity to stimulate their growing minds. I am a graduate student, with flexible availability between Saturday to Tuesday, during my off days, when I’ll be studying from home, often lounging and relaxing in my space. Having a pet to look after, feed and care for would not only be a very welcomed time commitment, but would make my space feel even more homely and bring me joy. I have enough time to play with dogs, pay attention to their unique needs and keep them active and joyful, or to simply accompany them while they rest and rejuvenate. I have a spacious apartment and a shaded dog park within my apartment community, as well as a dog wash corner next to the park - helpful during hot days in Florida. I am extremely mindful towards any pet staying with me, and provide them with a comfortable, safe and cooled space, in which I am committed to staying aware of their habits, likes and dislikes, and learning to understand their groove. There are several areas for them to use the bathroom outside, take a walk within the apartment community, as well as designated pee pads inside the apartment. Lastly, I expect all pets to be on flea and tick prevention to ensure the safety of all animals in my home. If this isn’t the case, please let me know ahead of time. About: I have owned many dogs and cats. I love playing and walking with them. I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I am a serious and organized person. I am a interpreter and I schedule myself so I am available during the day, and night. I have a very reasonable schedule. I take care of my fur babbies by walking them twice a day. Lots of love and when I am taking care of yours my daughter takes care of mine. I have a waist clip on lead so there is safety when walking. “Terrie watched our dog, Duke, for the weekend while we attended a wedding. She was so friendly and caring-and from the moment we arrived at her house she welcomed us and Duke with open arms. She sent lots of pictures over the weekend so we could see all the fun Duke was having! I never felt worried or anxious about leaving my dog with her. She's got a great home for the dogs too-with a huge back yard play space. I will certainly be contacting her again in the future if we should need sitting services. “Lisa took care of our pups for 10 days while we were on vacation. Our 13 year old had never been boarded before and so I wanted to find a home that she would feel comfortable in. I had visited a commercial boarding shelter in town and it felt like a pound to me and I knew they would both hate it! Lisa sent us updates and pictures every single day while they were there and though it wasn’t exactly home for them, it was the closest thing to home we could have asked for. They both had a great time, Plus the price was so much more reasonable than what the boarding facility was going to be. I will definitely be using Lisa again for boarding and some play dates for our 2 year old pup.”
“There aren’t enough stars to rate how incredible Kim is. I was very nervous about leaving my 9.5 month old puppy Izzy while I went away. I needed someone who would only watch one dog at a time and who is home during the day. I did a search and found that people say they only do one pet at a time but after initial contact, they disclosed that they won’t. Kim, on the other hand, was VERY firm that Izzy would be her only guest. I was able to meet Kim prior and see where Izzy would be. Izzy quickly made herself at home because Kim’s home has dog toys, beds and comfy places for any size dog. I knew I made the right choice. Kim is amazing. I dropped Izzy off at our agreed upon time with personal food, favorite toys and treats and favorite bedding. and I felt really comfortable leaving. And Izzy was thrilled with this situation! She had the run of the place. The two of them bonded and Kim loved my baby while I couldn’t. And it is genuine. She really did enjoy having my girl as company. I received many updates with pictures. Izzy was sleeping in the bed, allowed on the furniture, cuddling and loving Kim just like at home. It was clear that Izzy’s vacation might have been better than my time away! When I picked Izzy up she was happy to see me but was a bit reluctant to say goodbye to Kim LOL. That’s when you know your pup is telling you they had a great time. If you need a dog sitter, I can’t recommend Kim highly enough. She will do all she can to make your pup her priority and to love your fur baby as if s/he is hers. Infinite stars if possible. 💜”

“This was the first time we were with Brian and his boys. We met in March to "check each other out" and it went very well and Brian accepted Brooklyn as a guest in May. Brian was very attentive and sent me daily updates and photos. I fully expect Brooklyn will visit again in the future. “I found Paul almost at the last moment…my regular cat sitter wasn’t available but Paul was interested in watching my cat, though he usually watches dogs. It was a short visit but it turned out well for both him and my cat. I would highly recommend Paul for both cats and dogs due to his calm and friendly demeanor.”
