About: Finding good, trustworthy, affordable care for your pets in the Keys can be challenging. Our family struggled for years to find a pet sitter and dog walker we could trust. So when I finally retired, I wanted to be able to do for others what I wish I could find for my family. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and have cared for my own (plus too many fosters to count) for over 30 years. I volunteer for several pet rescues and my husband and I have set up our family run 501c3 rescue transport with a dream of starting our own dog sanctuary someday. I am extremely active and one of my true joys is dog walking and outdoor playtime so rest assured your dogs will get plenty of exercise (if that’s what you’d like). I am retired and have an extremely flexible schedule so whether it’s just a single mid day walk or 3-4x a day visits while you’re on vacation, I can be there. I have a great deal of experience in special needs (I have 3 myself) and elderly dogs and cats and treat them with special patience and understanding. I have experience with puppies and their challenges and I have an impressive understanding of breed and behaviors. Rest assured that I will treat your pets with respect, kindness, love and affection while also adhering to the structure and rules that you have for your pets. She is incredibly sweet and patient with my rescue, and in turn he trusts her immensely and is beyond comfortable when he is left with her. Her home is his home. She sends about a billion photos, and I never found myself thinking “Gee I wish I knew what Reagan was doing right now.” because of her great communication, which is great because most of the time when I’m out of town, I'm thinking of Reagan. His comfort and happiness is the most important thing to her when he is there, and finding someone that loves him as much as I do is something that I can’t put a price on. “Very very good! My dogs are hard to attach to new people but they both had no issues with both Brendan and Gaby. Both sitters were very patient, kind, and sweet to by dogs and my dogs seemed to love them. They walked, played, and got along well with their sweet doogie. Beautiful place not all the way into Key West, it was very easy to get to. Would definitely use Gaby and Brendon again. “We were camping on vacation in the keys with our sweet dog , Shelby. We are protective dog parents and don’t like leaving her with people we don't know but we had a couple of day trips (golf and shopping) planned that would not be fun for Shelby so we asked our camp office if they knew of a reliable dog sitter in the area and they recommended we use Rover. We put in our information and low and behold we found a great sitter, Julie, and she was close by. Score! 👍🏼😀 She had a great rating, a daycare in her home and a couple of dogs of her own so we thought we would loosen the leash a little and give her a call. The first day Shelby was not to sure she wanted to stay without us but by the end of the day when we picked her up she was a happy dog and the second day she ran right up to Julie. About: I have been around animals my whole life. I currently have an 8 month old English bulldog named Rocco. He is very friendly and still learning. Able to be available anytime after 5pm monday through friday and anytime on the weekend. I am able come to your home and walk and feed. My dog is up to date on his shots and is crate trained. If I am selected to care for your animals I will feed and walk on your schedule but I will not be able to house sit in my home.

I am currently stationed on Naval Air Station North Island, and cannot have a pet of my own but would love to take care of yours. I am fully available in the afternoons. I work full time in the Navy but usually get off around 11-12. I can be pretty flexible for your needs as long as I am off of work! Communication is key. Communicate what your pet needs and I will provide just that. I prefer clients home, because your fur baby will feel more comfortable in the comfort of their home. About: Finding good, trustworthy, affordable care for your pets in the Keys can be challenging. Our family struggled for years to find a pet sitter and dog walker we could trust. So when I finally retired, I wanted to be able to do for others what I wish I could find for my family. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and have cared for my own (plus too many fosters to count) for over 30 years. I volunteer for several pet rescues and my husband and I have set up our family run 501c3 rescue transport with a dream of starting our own dog sanctuary someday. I am extremely active and one of my true joys is dog walking and outdoor playtime so rest assured your dogs will get plenty of exercise (if that’s what you’d like). I am retired and have an extremely flexible schedule so whether it’s just a single mid day walk or 3-4x a day visits while you’re on vacation, I can be there. I have a great deal of experience in special needs (I have 3 myself) and elderly dogs and cats and treat them with special patience and understanding. I have experience with puppies and their challenges and I have an impressive understanding of breed and behaviors. Rest assured that I will treat your pets with respect, kindness, love and affection while also adhering to the structure and rules that you have for your pets. I primarily pet sit in the Lower Keys but am also available for Key West for dog walking. I have a large fenced yard which opens into a park for playtime. We also have a doggie door and large porch for sunning and watching the neighborhood. I take my dogs on 2-3 walks a day along a little traveled area near our home.

She has dog bowls and poop bags on hand, keeps a clean blanket on her couch, and has tile in her front room. Downtown location is unique and close to attractions. My schedule is flexible and does change often. However, Sometimes I get called into work so if I am watching your dog, you have to be okay with me leaving my house and allow me to work my other job. Though this does not happen often. If it does I will let you know. As I do with my own dog, I come back after work, let him out and give him love and attention. That’s what your dog will get from me as well. If I am gone too long, my boyfriend would is just as dependable as I am will let the dogs out and feed them. He helps if I need help, but I rarely ever need help. I have 3 different size crates at my place (small, medium, large) so if I need to crate your dog before I leave my house, let me know. I will care for your pup as directed and will provide a peaceful environment for them as well as playtime, nap time, and keeping a consistent schedule. I will provide stimulation as needed based on the dogs energy levels.

This isn’t just a job to me; I love creating a happy, peaceful experience for every animal I meet! I am working part time, so I am flexible to fit the timing and needs of you and your pets! Weekdays are the best bet for me, weekends can be a little tricky! Whether your pet is in my home or I’m in yours, I focus on creating a calm, clean, and comfortable environment! I follow your routines closely; feeding times, walks, potty breaks, cues, and any training you’re working on! Your pet will feel safe with me! In your home, I keep things tidy, respect your space, and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and snuggles of course! When it comes to sitting in my own home, I have a golden puppy, under a year; also a cat, so sitting in my clients home would be my best option!
About: I love dogs! I'll love on them, take them hiking, run with them, etc. I have been caring for dogs, mine and others, for over 15 years, from Jack Russels to Great Danes! This includes, long term and daily visits, helping train and giving medicines. I grew up with family pets and always had several of my own at one time. My own sweet dog is 15 years old and still going strong and I also have an adventurous little cat. Fun fact: They are both international travelers and have been to 6 other countries and traveled more than half of the United States and lived on a sailboat for over 5 years with me. I also live on base, so if you’re stationed there too, I’m able to get on base easily for walks, no extra coordination needed. Safety is my top priority. We realized he was having a wonderful time. That allowed us to relax on our trip. Sherlock even hesitated at the gate when I picked him up, I think he might have wanted to stay with his new friends!!!”
About: I’ve had to help take care of dogs my entire life… Growing up, our family always had larger breeds of dogs which taken care of was part of my responsibilities in my adult life. I have had my own dogs… I currently do not have any dogs though. I currently work full-time as a teacher, but I have flexibility to come home during the day. and I am finished each day by 2:30 I live in an apartment under a house with a very large yard, but not fenced in… My landlord‘s upstairs do have a big Doberman, but he is super friendly. I can only accommodate pet friendly dogs at my home.
