About: Greetings! My name is Colleen. I’m new to Rover, but my daughter has had a successful Rover business for 4 years in Alaska. I recently visited my daughter and while I was there I had the privilege to join her on some of her dog walks and found it to be a true pleasure, and therapeutic, to meet her clients, love on and walk their pets. I have had pets and farm animals most of my life, and raised my children with animals being treated as family members (probably why my daughter is loving her business with Rover). As you can tell I live in Florida (not Alaska lol). Many years ago I was a foster home for a dog rescue. I have been involved in youth programs that taught kids how to raise pigs and show them at local county fairs. I retired from a 20 year career in healthcare 4 years ago. About: I grew up on a farm in Indiana raising a variety of animals. We have always had cats and dogs as part of our family and now we get to care for so many more! I work 9-4 M-Th and off F-Sun. I work close to home so I am able to frequently walk them and give meds / meals. I do not have a fenced yard as I live in a townhome but I walk the dogs several times and we have many large grassy areas.
About: I started raising a dog when I was 15, a Bichon Frise. Now I have two cats, one is 7 years old and the other is 5. Both cats have been raised since they were kittens. I have plenty of time to take care of pet. My son goes to summer school from 9:30-4:30，so I’m available between these time. I have a big fenced yard and multiple cat trees. I vacuum daily and keep plastic items away from them. I also cover the second floor railing in case cats jump.
About: I love dogs more than I love actual people. About 3 years ago I started working at a doggy daycare and I had the best experience. Apart from that I've had dogs since I was born. I know how to give professional baths and some types of haircuts. I used to train dogs but I haven't had much experience. I take care of my own pets all day. When I move I won't have a job so if I need to stay with your dog all day I can accommodate that I have a lot of experience handling all types of dogs including reactive. About: I grew up on a farm where we owned and still own dogs exceeding 150 pounds so large dogs will never be a problem. I have worked multiple dog who need special care including early medication times and food requirements. I also have a beared dragon and have owned bunnies so critter care is also an option. I am in my freshman year of college at UCF and plan to do river around my school schedule. I do not have a job at the moment so this will allow me to be more flexible with my schedule. I also have a car so some travel is an option. When I am in your home i will make sure to rescpect your space and home and will never a mess or make the place my own for the time that I am there.

She was very accommodating to pickup and drop off times, and made sure to respond to messages quickly. She provided photos and videos throughout the 7 day stay to calm our nerves about our dog, and made sure that our dog felt very at home the whole time.
