She made fast friends with their sweet dog, Carmi, and Linda sent daily pictures or videos showing them having so much fun together and then napping together from exhaustion. Linda made the time to meet us well in advance of caring for Rue and really listened to what Rue needed, including walks, being brushed, the ability to have her crate to sleep or take breaks in when she wanted, and following her feeding schedule. Linda allowed Rue free rein in her home, and even made time for her to relax on the lanai to people and bird watch; something she loves to do at home. Rue had an amazing time, and this allowed my husband and I to really enjoy our vacation knowing she was having the time of her life too. We wholeheartedly recommend Linda for pet sitting services. In terms of experience, I am PetTech certified, I am working with a local pet sitting business for over a year now, where I do drop-in visits for dogs and cats, as well as walks and house sitting too! I also previously volunteered with a local animal shelter where I worked with mainly cats and kittens, and dogs on occasion. As a volunteer, my responsibilities mostly included transport, playing with the shelter animals, weighing, and checking in/watching. I currently have 2 cats, 1 male and 1 female, that I got as kittens. I have had these cats for about 2 years. In the past, I had a dog for 3 years. We have four kids (16,15,13,8) who love dogs and help us a ton! They are all receptive to dogs and know when to leave them be due to the dog being nervous or to cuddle them when they are comfortable. I spent a couple years volunteering at PAWS Adoption Center in St. George, Utah and have experience with all kinds of pups: Big, small, old, young, fluffy, stinky. Bring it on!
