About: I'm a teacher during the day, so my hours are flexible, especially during the summer. I'm a dog and a cat lover and would love to have some extra dog company. My two cats are used to dogs and don't mind them at all. I will go the extra mile to care for your fur babies as I would take care of mine. My first two dogs I had when I was younger, were Schipperkes named Skylar and Sampson. They were very hyper and lots of fun to walk around. About: Welcome to Calusa Kennels and Dog Retreat. We aim to be the last dog boarding service you will ever need in the Fort Myers, Estero, Corkscrew area. Both my wife, Samantha, and I have owned dogs our entire lives. We each have decades of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including our own dogs and other people's. Aside from providing any necessary care, I am experienced with training, including obedience and training bird dogs. Samantha is a nurse in the Trauma ICU and we both have experience providing basic medical care to pets. Dog boarding is our main priority and we are accepting dogs 24/7. Pet care IS our routine. We are Currently working on installing a new facility on our property which will increase our capacity for boarding. We have a spacious 6 Acre fenced property to provide endless enjoyment, keep your dog safe and two of our own friendly labradors to keep them company. Dogs enjoy access to our home as well as lots of outdoor space(pastures, front yard, fenced pool area) for playing, walks, and relaxing. We have crates available when your dog needs separation for eating, sleeping, or they just need a break from the fun. Due to the cage-free environment we provide, WE CANNOT offer services for violent dog breeds or any dogs who are known to be violent around unknown dogs.
About: Although most people see this as a job, i see pet-sitting as a fun and exciting opportunity to make new friends all with their own personalities:)! Seeing as i don’t really find myself going out much now-a-days, pet sitting seems like the only right option needed to be taken way sooner. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for your pets. I’m available early Monday through Friday until around 8 PM and weekends from 9AM to 3 PM. Whether your pet needs a walk or drop-in visit, I’m happy to work with their routine and provide dependable, loving care while you’re away. About: I love all pets and can care for them as you request. They will have free range of the fenced in yard and house. I will text daily photos/videos of your dog to ease any stress of leaving your companion at home. **I pet sit because I WANT to not because I HAVE to. I only allow one other dog at a time in the home. This allows me to give the your pet more attention than with dealing with several dogs at a time.** Smoke free home. I am retired and since moving to our 2.5 acre property I thought there is no better way to host pets. I am home most of the time. If I go out it is just for a quick errand. About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life and I had big, medium and small dogs in the past and I also had one cat. I took care of pregnant dogs, injured, spayed and neutered dogs. She has a history of abuse (but is an absolute angel) so I have experience with more difficult dogs and different behavioral needs along with training experience.
