About: I've had dogs for over 25 years and most recently I'm caring for a dog with a seizure disorder. Everything from young energetic puppies to elderly dogs. I have worked with an organization called Missing Pet Partnership (an organization started by a police officer who trained scent detection dogs). I was trained to find lost pets and the psychology of dogs and cats including training in pet first aid and CPR. My previous career was as a special education teacher. I now work full-time from home. My home is set back from the road on a quiet private street for your peace of mind. I have two small friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if needed based on your preference and socialization with my dogs is entirely up to you. My home has separate areas to accommodate a variety of situations including multi pet homes that crate and rotate dogs, dogs with medical needs who need to be in separate areas, etc. For overnight stays I will tailor your dogs experience to ensure it is a home away from home.
“Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. About: I have had 3 dogs growing up so use to handling multiple at one time. Also my shih tzu that passed had severe skin allergies so I have experience with medical baths and diets. I work from home 3 days a week so home all day MWF, Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in the office but only a 10 min drive away and can walk them during lunch and be back home with your doggo before dinner! I live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and a park, personally have a well sized yard and back deck for lots of outdoor fun! Upon my arrival home kitty was calm, very content , and had an extensive grooming! My home was exceptionally clean with the removal of litter and cat food cans. Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit. About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. About: I have pets of my own. I have owned cats, dogs and and small animals too. Currently I have one dog and his name is Max. There were plenty of times in my neighborhood that dogs will get out and I would take care of them until they are safe with their owner. I also have a years experience in dog walking I am a full time student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am home most of the time but as for my schedule I have classes Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 11-2. Tuesday/Thursday 9:30-12:30. Currently I do not live with my dog so I can provide more one on one attention to the animal I am taking care of. Every pet is unique, so I always begin by following the owner’s instructions and learning their routine. I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of potty breaks or a clean litter box, exercise and playtime, and lots of love and attention. I also pay close attention to their behavior to make sure they seem happy, comfortable, and healthy. If medications are needed, I’m happy to administer them as directed. Before I leave, I’ll make sure your pet is settled and I’ll send you an update with photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I haven’t taken care of dogs professionally but I have always had a deep love for dogs. I have owned an American Bully and English Bulldog on my own and have had multiple family dogs growing up. Having my own dogs, I have gone through the process of training two different types of temperaments and am looking forward to engaging/learning about more! I currently work from home as an accountant M-F. I have the flexibility to leave and return as needed. I could take my laptop if I needed to be around for an extended amount of time. Otherwise, I have the ability to use my flexibility to be present. I have an open living room setup and an English bulldog of my own to keep them company as well. We go on multiple walks a day and I make sure to try and exert the energy of whatever dog I am with at the time (so they don’t have much time to miss their parents 😂). I have room to crate the dogs if needed and also a pet camera that helps with monitoring.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. About: I’m not able to have a dog of my own so it would be nice to have experience with different dogs throughout the week so I don’t feel like I’m missing out on spending time with pets. I’m a second grade teacher who is off for the summer and major holidays. I would like to have something else for me to do to keep busy during the long summer days. Being able to spend time with your pet would be an honor and I’m so excited to play with care for them in anyway you need me to. I’m also studying to be an elementary school teacher so if you ever need some babysitting I can do that as well. About: I have had 3 dogs growing up so use to handling multiple at one time. Also my shih tzu that passed had severe skin allergies so I have experience with medical baths and diets. I work from home 3 days a week so home all day MWF, Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in the office but only a 10 min drive away and can walk them during lunch and be back home with your doggo before dinner! I live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and a park, personally have a well sized yard and back deck for lots of outdoor fun! Currently I own 2 guniea pigs but they’re quiet and kept on an elevated surface no dog has been bothered by them before. Lots of toys and 2 beds here to play with but encourage to bring your pet’s favorites here as well.

About: I currently have two, and have had dogs my entire life. I have been a dog foster for two years and have fostered 17 dogs in that time. I have experience with all ages from whelping a litter of six puppies to my 12 yo dog that I lost six years ago. I also love cats but sadly my son is allergic so we aren’t able to have any in our home. In addition to my own pets I have cared for friends’ and family’s pets, foster dogs, and volunteer at SPCA walking dogs. Caring for my two dogs and my fosters is my priority. About: I've had dogs for over 25 years and most recently I'm caring for a dog with a seizure disorder. Everything from young energetic puppies to elderly dogs. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much.
