About: The cats I’ve experienced with never fail to keep me on my toes whether it’s finding something to crinkle such as a brown bag or a small ribbon to fetch or even climbing to new heights such as a refrigerator. About: I've grew up with dogs and have been responsible for taking care of them, including feeding, walking/running & playing/taking outside, bathing, and more. I have experience giving older dogs medicine, both orally and injections (especially insulin for diabetic dogs). One of my dogs developed hip dysplasia and cancer at her older age, so I am experienced with caring for senior dogs in need of extra attention. I am a teacher who has the summer off, so I am around during the day and evenings specifically during the week! I am looking for some walking buddies and extra outside time this summer. I am a responsible and reliable caretaker, I will always use a leash when outdoors at my home, and whatever the comfort level is for your home. There are lots of sidewalks and parks where I live that are dog friendly and I have a front porch where dogs can sit outside with me.

Although I ideally have a couple days notice, I can also make last-minute needs work. Its very important for me to establish trust with dogs prior to an overnight stay, and we can do that at their own pace by taking a calm walk or using treat rewards. While in your home I'll make sure to follow any safety rules and be very aware of doors, making sure dogs are always leashed before opening them (I had a dog that liked to take off for a while so am very vigilant about this!). If your dog has challenges with other animals, I can always make sure they have space on walks and play. I provide hands-on care with belly rubs and ear scratches to keep dogs calm and happy. I can handle oral medications and am happy to provide daily updates with photos :)

I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, companionship, and basic routine reinforcement. I’m not a professional trainer, but I’m happy to follow the commands and routines you already use. My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while giving you clear updates and peace of mind. My schedule is currently flexible, especially for drop-ins and walks. I’m usually available during morning, afternoon, and evening time blocks, and I do my best to plan visits in a way that gives each pet enough time, patience, and attention. I’m also happy to discuss your pet’s usual routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. In a client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to doors, gates, leashes, food instructions, litter areas, water bowls, and anything the owner tells me is important. I also like to know about each pet’s temperament, triggers, hiding spots, leash behavior, and comfort level with new people so I can keep the visit safe and calm. For walks, I make sure pets are securely leashed before leaving the home and avoid unnecessary interactions with unknown dogs or people unless the owner says otherwise. I’m patient with shy, nervous, excited, or slower-to-warm-up pets, and I’d rather move carefully than rush them. I’ll also send clear updates, so you know how your pet is doing.
About: -I have had animals all my life -I’ve cat/dog sat before and it was great! -I love the outdoors so we will definitely take advantage of nice weather -I worked at a pre school for 3 years so I have the patience/experience for different diets and schedules! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in high school. I am known as the dog-sitter in my neighborhood. When my neighbors go on vacation or away, I am always the first one called to watch their animals. While they are away, I feed and walk the dogs.
