“This is our second time with Julie caring for our cat Pixie and will not be our last. She is prompt about getting to our house to feed Pixie and does not simply feed her and rush out the door when she is done. Pixie is an extreme affection sponge and we love that Julie sticks around and cuddles with our little one while we are away. I always feel so guilty when we are gone for more than a day, but knowing Julie is going to be sitting with Pixie and giving her the attention she craves really helps me relax. Julie is also so sweet with Pixie. Pix has a habit of getting under foot and can be very chatty. Julie has the patience of a saint navigating the one cat obstacle course to get through our kitchen while prepping her meals. We are thrilled to have come across Julie on Rover and already have discussed with her our next booking, which will be sudden and unpredictable as we go into the hospital to have our first child. She is so open to when we said "yeah, it will be sometime between this date and this date and could be 2-5 days long and will be a very last second booking". Not only did she respond immediately, but she told us no problem, she will be around and to let her know. Shes the best and we so highly recommend her to take care of the fur babies!”

About: I’ve rescued dogs since I was young, grew up with dogs my entire life and have a dog of my own now. I’m always willing to make a new friend since I enjoy their company and taking them out or just spending time with them indoors. Always happy to take care of yours!! I’m currently home during the summer and work from home so I can be pretty flexible with taking the dogs out to the park or for a walk since I can give them the attention they need. I live in an condo so I don’t a yard but there’s a trail right behind the condos where I can take the dogs out for walk and i can also offer taking the dog(s) to the dog park if the owner allows me to. About: I started my career as an animal rescuer and dog trainer, I am very personable when it comes to taking care of animals. I have taken care of range of animals, from newborns to full grown, from past 15 years and I believe that there’s nothing more rewarding than their love. I also prepare home-made organic food and treats for dogs and cats which are loved by them and appreciated by their parents. I have an expertise with animal behavior and nutrition as well. I like to give dogs a pee break every 3-4 hours. Walking, feeding, exercise and lot of cuddles will be given all throughout the day. At our house, all the dogs are treated as if they are my own babies. Treats are given as permitted by parents. I have spare new blankets and toys for all dogs, unless you bring/prefer your own. (shower and grooming can be provided at extra cost) When boarding dogs at my home they will have space to roam around in the house (wooden floor) and I can take them for long/short walks as needed/recommended. I always walk dogs on leash and the duration of walk will be set by the pet parents. I love spoiling my fur guests with toys (with permission). When boarding your pet overnight, I encourage sending them with a blanket with your scent as it makes the separation easy on your fur babies. The environment in my house is nothing but love and we are soft spoken people so there’s no loud noise in the house ever. The surrounding area is very safe and very nature oriented. We have sidewalks which are well maintained year round. And since it’s a gated community, you can feel the ease with your pet security. I have taken care of over five dozen dogs and every dog loved our place. Most even feel sad when they leave.

From meet and greet to picking him up after our trip we felt very much at ease that Grizzly will receive great care. We received daily updates and appreciated the great communication. “Mark did an amazing job watching our puppy Chloe for 13 days while we were on vacation! We were so nervous about leaving our new puppy for so long but from the moment we met Mark we knew we made the right choice. Mark sent us updates and pics while we were away which we loved. Chloe played with his other dogs during the day which helped with her ongoing socialization. At night Chloe slept on his son's bed. I know this made Chloe feel loved while we were away! “Maggie took very good care of Samson, or 2 1/2 year old energetic dog. good looooong walks, lots of cuddling, and he seemed really happy there.
