About: I have cared for my own dog and family members dogs for several years. I also am an approved foster for Caribbean Canine Connection. I have experience with all ages from puppies to senior dogs with special medical requirements. My own dog, Luke, is very dog friendly as we always have fosters in & out of the home. I work from home M-F so there is almost always somebody home with your pet. My schedule is flexible to accommodate frequent potty breaks. On weekends, my husband and I like to take whatever dogs are in our home on a short, or long hike depending on the tolerance of the animal. Pets are family! I will accomodate any reasonable request. Unless you ask otherwise, all pets will be allowed on furniture. We have baby gates up to separate the dogs in the home if needed..if your dog is crate trained, we have a crate set up in the family room. About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all sorts and sizes since I was a kid, and love playing with them. One of the requirements for our current home was to have a big yard so our boys could run free! I work from home and create my own schedule, and am an introvert so I’m almost always at my home unless I’m running an errand. This means I’ll always be here to take care of your animal and take them for walks, bathroom breaks, or play time. I have a big (unfenced) private back yard far away from any neighbors. I have two doodle’s who love to play with other dogs and two cats who will probably hide the whole time. Your pet will spend most of their time with me while I’m in my office or doing chores around the house, then the rest of the time playing with me and (optionally) my two dogs in our yard. My two doodles love other dogs and are non-aggressive, but if there are any issues I am happy to separate them. I used to train dogs in another life so I know how to handle and care for dogs.

About: I've had dogs for the past 19 years, mainly pitbulls and mastiffs. But I worked in a doggy day care in the past and have experience with all types of dogs even cats. Currently a hospital manager at an animal hospital. Open availability , early morning and evenings are great. Weekend availability as well . I work with animals all day , from cats to exotics. I can accommodate your needs however you need. Safety for your pet and I will be my main priority. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in my care. I currently work third shift 3 nights a week but have someone home on those nights. So your pets will never be alone . I also have 3 children who enjoy helping so it has become part of daily routine to do feedings and walks. I treat your pets like family, I usually request a crate for them so they have a familiar safe space in case they get overwhelmed but otherwise they free roam. I follow whatever schedule you follow at home. So if you allow your fur babies on the couch so will I. But if not I respect that and follow that as well. So it really is treating your babies like ours. I’m an early riser, so early morning feedings and walks are easy to fit into my routine. My work schedule can vary so I can be flexible with walks. I treat your animals as my own, while still following your household rules for them. I do request a crate during stays so your pets have a safe space they can feel comfortable in.

About: I’ve loved animals since I was young, always being known to be the person who asks “Can I pet your dog?”. Having grown up living with and partially helping to train my grandparent’s standard poodle puppy at age 9, I knew then that I wanted animals in my life forever. Through the years I’ve done fundraisers for local shelters, looked after and groomed family dogs, given pet care advice, and for the last four years have worked professionally as a kennel attendant. My job has always been a joy to me, and despite its stresses I always tell people that caring for animals is the best job I could ever ask for. I’ve been able to meet and work with pets of all different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and abilities; from blind/deaf dogs, senior dogs, aggressive dogs, puppies/kittens, diabetic dogs and cats, and so many more. Each of them provides an invaluable experiences that teaches me patience, compassion, and communication. I’m now the proud owner of a 11 month old cat, Balrog, and of a 13 year old chihuahua, Mia. “Alyssa was so wonderful! Our pup had cut her foot a few days before she was set to stay with Alyssa and Rocky. Alyssa took the best care of her - making sure she got her antibiotic and giving her a new bandage when she pulled hers off. Sunny absolutely loved her time with Alyssa and Rocky and we felt so relieved leaving her with such a thoughtful, caring, and competent caregiver so we could enjoy our visit with our daughter. Alyssa was also incredibly accommodating when our flight got delayed (twice) and Sunny had to stay an extra night. Thank you, Alyssa and Rocky!!!”
