About: I’ve always had pets growing up. Over the past 20 years I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, turtles, snakes, and hamsters. I love animals more than most humans. My sister is also a vet which is super handy to have. I currently work from home so I can be present and then I have down time I can play and tend to my furry house guest. I have a room for my dogs with a very bring crate, beds and toys. When I have furry guests I can always alternate my dogs in the room or the furry guest into that room. With it currently being summer, I’ve had a very flexible schedule. It would be very easy for me to add pet care to my routine. “We had a wonderful experience with Karen! Before confirming the booking, she invited us for a meet and greet at her place, which has a spacious and comfortable room just for boarding dogs. One of the main reasons we chose her is that she doesn’t board dogs from different families at the same time, and her own dogs don’t interact with guests—something that really mattered to us since our 8-month-old German Shepherd was boarding for the very first time. Karen took careful notes, asked lots of thoughtful questions, and made sure to follow our dog’s usual routine. During our two-day trip, she sent frequent photo updates that gave us so much peace of mind. Our puppy was clearly comfortable and relaxed around her. We’ll definitely book with Karen again in the future!”
