I have over 14 years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals ranging from dogs to cats to snakes, bearded dragons, and even ants (yes I know)... and the list goes on! Ever since I can remember, I've always loved animals (dogs especially). To fulfill my wish to have a pet, I began volunteering at a local animal shelter and would frequently visit just to spend time with some of the animals and give them some love. There, I was able to learn how to better care for our furry friends, both elderly and young. Being able to play with them was just a bonus for me! While your dog is with me they will have access to a big fenced yard to play in and enjoy. If you'd prefer them to stay in their natural environment, that's fine too! Whatever makes them most comfortable, I'm happy to provide. Every pet's needs & wants are different, which I take the time to acknowledge when caring for them. I'd love to start our mornings off with a nice hike or walk at my nearby beach. Working from home, your pets will get plenty of time and attention in my care! While boarding, they will have access to roam and play about in a fenced in yard under my supervision. Rest assured, I will take care of your babies as if they were my own. Making sure also to give you daily updates so you know your pup is well cared for!

About: I grew up on a farm with goats, cats, dogs, and a chinchilla. Taking care of pets is second nature to me and as a child free millennial, I have all the time and love to give. My cat Karen will attest to this and would love to share the attention with other pets and get me out of her hair (quite literally). I currently work 8:30-5 M-F, but have plenty of time in the evenings and weekends to spend time with your kitties! I may even be available on my lunch break depending on location. I would love to build trust and comfortability with your cats prior to drop ins. It’s important for us to be comfortable with each other, and I encourage all pets to interview me thoroughly before signing on.

“Davon was amazing. I outreached very impromptu and he was available for a meet and greet with Arya. ( which went well. We reviewed the basics of her care and he made sure to get a full understanding of what is needed to make Aryas stay as comfortable as possible) drop off was nice. He has spacious living accommodations. What stood out is his willingness to work with Arya being that she is a Bully. There are a many false conceptions about this breed. With his family background working with bully’s and pitbull, and his love for animals in general, I had no concerns that Arya was in good care. During her overnight visit, he provided checks up and sent pictures for reassurance. He also introduced Arya to family and friends ( which I love ) being that she is not around other dogs or people, helping her socialize. Picking Arya up was easy. All items returned and she was happy ! I previously boarded her , and when picking her up she was distant, had scratches and limped !!! All in all, 5 stars for Devon. I recommend and will use him again. 🐾💕”

She was so attentive to Luna and sent pics, videos, did FaceTime and my Luna looked like she didn’t want to come home lol. She is my go to if I ever have to travel or need Luna to be watched.
