He was always treated like part of the family and I think for him it was just a fun weekend with friends. About: While I'm unquestionably more a dog person my life has had no shortage of cats, my approach with them is very similar and influenced by my positive reinforcement based mindset with dogs. About: Hi paw friends 🐾 I am somewhat new to Rover but I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have always helped my family and friends care for their animals and I always enjoyed doing it. My husband and I got married four years ago and our little girl is three. It's so amazing to see her interact with the dogs because she gets more comfortable and happier each time. My husband and daughter are my best pet helpers when I am not around. Our family loves dogs and we will eventually get a dog when the time is right, but I love Rover because it’s give me the opportunity to still bond with pups. I truly love being around animals. Our families sometimes come to stay with us with their dogs and I get a crazy burst of happiness every time. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats before I reached the age of double digits. Bruno was the first cat my family ever got, he was found in the rafters of our garage, he was so small he had to be nursed from a bottle. He won sweetest cat at the local library, and the next year we found Gus in our bushes on me and my twin brothers 6th birthday. We slyly convinced our mom he was a gift from God and we got to keep him! A couple years later, we dropped into the humane society and fell in love with a grey kitten, and of course, my brother and I pulled out our puppy dog eyes, and Junie B Fox Fire came home with us. It was a full house, three cats, two kids, and one mom. Eventually, it was time to convince my mom to get a dog. We ended up falling in love with a golden doodle and we named her Paisley. And finally, my brother and I felt satisfied with our Animal House. Our animals all lived long happy lives. Our three cats all passed away at 20, and Paisley at 16. They were always treated like family. Those 20 so years did not come without their scares. We had a few times the vet told us there was practically no hope, but Im convinced the love our family had for our animals bent reality, and every time, they were okay. Sometimes surgery was needed, other times just hope. But I am proud of the way I was raised to treat animals, and I thank my mom for that. In my 20s I moved in with my now ex fiance, and we got a dog together. An australian shepherd (I will adopt next time!), she was a puppy. We trained her, loved her, and I was her mom. Sprinkled through the years other cats entered our orbit as we took in family cats whose owner had passed. We became another animal house! unfortunately those cats were older so we got them on their ladder parts of life, and so when our apartment had no more cats, we decided it was time for a kitten! Together we raised our kitten Henry, and Aussie Skylo. I was their mom for about 7 years until we broke up, and tragically my ex stole them, and ran away with his mistress. There are no words for the black hole that left behind. It was right after the break up my family simultaneously lost three of our cats and our dog. Yes they lived a long life, but for the first time ever, I had NO animals in my care. I didn't know how empty that could feel! I don't want to make this a sob story, but I want to explain why you are just seeing a kitten in my photos. I moved to FL after the break up, and that is where I found Roary my now cat, who was 5 weeks old dodging cars in the middle of the busiest intersection in Fort Lauderdale. I was the only one on the ground to pick her up, I wasnt ready for a cat, but life did its life thing, and I am so blessed to have her by my side now. I am back in Florida, and ready for Rover! I am nurturing, thoughtful, attentive, and not to pat myself on the back.. but I do think I speak fluent animal. I would be so grateful for the opportunity to watch your beloved pet! I am currently free as a bird here in Florida. My availability is adaptable as I can fully commit to my time here on Rover! Safety always comes first. In your home, I follow your routine exactly; feeding, meds, and house rules. On walks I double check leashes, hold a tight grip, stay alert to traffic and other dogs, and never let your pet off leash. I'll send photo updates every visit so you always know your animal is safe and happy.

About: Hi paw friends 🐾 I am somewhat new to Rover but I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have always helped my family and friends care for their animals and I always enjoyed doing it. My husband and I got married four years ago and our little girl is three. It's so amazing to see her interact with the dogs because she gets more comfortable and happier each time. My husband and daughter are my best pet helpers when I am not around. Our family loves dogs and we will eventually get a dog when the time is right, but I love Rover because it’s give me the opportunity to still bond with pups. I truly love being around animals. Our families sometimes come to stay with us with their dogs and I get a crazy burst of happiness every time. Life is just better with a dog around and I would love to care and help with your pups! :) I know it can be tough trusting your animals in others hands but rest assured that your pet will be in great hands with me & I will send plenty of updates and pictures 📸🐾 I currently work part time (every weekend). So I am free to take care of your pups during the week and still on weekends when I’m home. My amazing husband and daughter are my best pet helpers when I am not around. I still offer some services on the weekends. I will care for the pet how the owner(s) want me to care for them. They will always bed fed, hydrated, clean, warm, and the happiest they can be in our home. Our home isn't that big so someone is always around. I am not much of an out-going person, I do have a good amount of friends but they all come to my house since I am the mama of the group :)
About: I've raised my own cat, Bug, age 2, since he was 2 months old, alongside my roommate's cat whom I've lived with for 4 years. I've also raised over 30 houseplants and have vast knowledge of a variety of plants and their needs. Additionally, I've been around the many animals in my family my whole life and have sat for relatives' cats and dogs of all sizes over the years. I'm currently in between jobs as I relocate from North Carolina to Connecticut and ultimately back to NYC, so I have a pretty open schedule! Happy to alter my plans around pet care and house sitting. I'm also a gigging musician so there are sporadic nights and weekends that may become unavailable, but I am largely looking to be a sitter while I'm in CT. Willing and able to care for indoor/outdoor pets, go on walks, make sure cats and dogs get plenty of play and pets as desired, give treats, clean and maintain home spaces, and whatever else you may need!

About: I grew up with dogs. I had a Great Dane that lived to be 12. I currently have a mini bernedoodle that is almost 5 years old. I also have a bunny. I currently work full-time and am available on Saturday and Sunday for boarding and dog walking. From late June through August, my schedule is more flexible. I will be available daily. I live in a quiet neighborhood in a cul-de-sac with a fenced-in yard. I have a very friendly mini Bernedoodle. I love dogs that play and lazy dogs that just like to chill.
