About: Born and raised living in an animal house! Between the 3-4 dogs at a time, 2 cats (+the ones we took care of outside), and the 50+ rabbits we had, oh and lets not forget the pet oppossom we rescued, I'd say I know a thing or two about taking care of animals! I have helped out many of my friends by taking care of the pets and I currently dog sit for a lady right by my house. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and happy to help if you have more than one animal! I currently work full time at a little coffee shop in town. Normally working tuesday-saturday. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I tend to get off around 4pm and Thursdays through Saturday I am off at 2pm! Happy to take care of animals early before work and right after I get off. I wouldnt be able to have in-home care at my place but at a clients home I would make sure the animals are well taken care of. They could mean 3 walks a day (with a mix of letting them out in the backyard-if applicable), feeding morning and night, giving treats throughout the day, taking them on hikes (depending on how well trained they are), and providing lots of love and playtime!

About: I love big dogs, especially GSDs, but have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I grew up with several labs. The last 10 years I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks that sadly passed away last summer. Needless to say I miss being covered in dog hair. About: I've taken care of fur babies for over 25 years, both cats and dogs. Most have been from rescue organizations and I've raised them from pups/kittens to seniors. I currently have a 12-yr old Pug, Buster, who loves cuddles and going on walks/hikes. I recently moved from Houston to the area and have the ability to work remotely. I have calls during the week but always make sure I have gaps to feed my Pug and play with him during the day. I live in a cabin which has open areas and a shallow river, St. Vrain, but have a gate on the bridge to ensure that my pet does not get to the street. I don't leave my Pug outside by himself keep him on a leash during walks and hikes. Inside of cabin is very open and plenty of space for hanging out and sleeping. About: I am a total animal person :) I love all animals and especially dogs. I treat all dogs as if they were my own companion. I love to reward them with high quality treats and natural peanut butter. I grew up taking care of all types of animals. I had chinchillas, rabbits, dogs, hamsters, fish etc.. I have been training dogs for 28 years and have watched and read a lot of dog training videos and books. Lennon was a very diificult dog to train because she's incredibly smart, independent and not very food motivated. I understand how to deal with all types of personalities/ quirks and needs from my wide range of dogs I have cared for. I have watched 14 year old standard poodles with a lot of anxiety and medical issues, to a shy mini poodle or a collie that wants to chase Lennon all day every day. Also my dog Lennon has severe allergies and very sensitive skin etc. so she takes medicine daily and I give her probiotics and am always watching to make sure she's not having a bad reaction. She has gone into anaphylaxis twice and luckily I knew the signs and was able to get her to the vet just in time to save her life. I take dog care very seriously because of this, if I notice any change in behavior or red eyes etc. I will notify you immediately and see what the course of action should be. I value giving pet owners peace of mind because I know what it is like to be worried about your animal while traveling and theres no worse feeling. I love to send lots of pictures and videos so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I watched dogs on Rover for 2 years before in Georgia when I was married and unfortunately it was all booked under my ex's profile so you can't see all my reviews. I take my Aussie-doodle Lennon for daily walks and have multiple playtime sessions daily with fetch balls, plush toys, doing tricks, playing tug a war etc. I also have a big comfy couch downstairs I love to snuggle with my pup on. When the weather is nice I love to go on dog friendly hikes during (between 1-4 miles) nothing too crazy especially if it is hot outside. If your dog is snuggly, I offer snuggles. If they are play oriented I offer tons of play and my pup Lennon LOVES to play and chill (she's very insanely emotionally intelligent). She knows when to play and when to relax - which I love about her. I will always take dogs for walks (weather permitting) and take them out to potty every 3-4 hours minimum.

About: I’ve been in love with dogs since I can remember, and my favorite type of work/volunteering has always involved them. When I was 15 I started dog sitting for my family friend, I watched and walked little Johnny twice a week for almost 2 years while his mom was out doing errands. After that, I started volunteering at the LoveJoy Foundation, an animal rescue in California. I walked dogs, cleaned crates, and even helped with vaccinations once a week at adoption events! My time at LoveJoy was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and it taught me how to work with different types of dogs and different behaviors, including neurodivergent and disabled pups. I have a family dog of my own, sweet Montana, who will always be my best friend no matter how far apart we are. Montana is a bit older now, so we mostly enjoy hanging out on the couch together, but in his prior years I loved taking him on hikes, to the dog beach, and really anywhere that I went. I also have a crested gecko named Axel! I’m currently a junior at CU Boulder, so I do have school during the week but only for about 2-3 hours each day, most of the time I’m home to care for a pup! I absolutely love being outside here in Boulder, it’s too beautiful not to be, so walks and adventures are plentiful! I have a large house for your pup to roam around, but if it’s preferred that he stays in a crate during the day I can accommodate that too! My yard isn’t fenced, but we would have a lot of outside time at the park and on walks exploring all corners of Boulder. I do have experience dog sitting in client’s homes, I know that some dogs are probably more comfortable staying in their own home!

I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I think that personal care really makes a difference. I’m a student at CU Boulder, and taking care of pets fits really well into my routine. I’m fully available on weekends and love spending time with dogs whenever I get the chance. Unfortunately, having my own dog doesn’t quite fit into my life yet, so I really enjoy caring for dogs through Rover. I live in a large two-story home with plenty of space for pets to play and relax. Although I don’t have a big yard, I love to go on regular walks and play outside as much as possible. Household rules like crating, furniture rules, and routines will all be discussed with you and then adhered to during my stay. About: I’ve always had a love for animals, especially dogs. I am extremely detail-oriented and respectful of any of all requests! I’ve grown up being the “crazy dog friend” and have always been a go-to for any dog sitting! I spent this whole summer dog sitting my Uncle’s Labrador retriever puppy. Everyday I went over, took her for a walk, played a little and made sure she had water/was fed. While there I also taught her some tricks! About: I grew up with dogs and absolutely love being around them. My two family dogs are back home in Los Angeles, and I honestly love them more than life—I miss them every day while I’m at school in Boulder! About: I've been around animals my whole life. I was given a puppy for my 9th birthday and absolutely fell in love with caring for him. Aside from that my grandparents owned a farm and I was often recruited, and was eager, to care for the animals! Currently I'm a stay at home mom, I'm looking to earn a little extra while my littles are in school. And this seems like a very fun way to do so!
