I only accept up to 2 pets at a time for more focused care. About me - my husband and I owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I have experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking, camping and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets or kids, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I often hang out in the yard as well. On some weekends I like to go hiking or boondock camping, I also enjoy visiting new places. I can bring your pet along on hikes, picnics and camping trips if your pet is able to join and they are small enough to fit in our camper. ;) It is ideal for me to care for pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended just in case I need to run errands, especially for longer bookings. If not, I can bring them with me if it is an option. Open to discussion! :) Crates are fine if they are crate trained and unable to roam around the house alone. I have a spacious 1 acre property, but it is unfenced. However it is far from the road and our area is very quiet. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets or kids. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. I have a baby gate to keep your pet safe from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - dogs love hanging out there! I limit my home to 2 pets at a time. Since I am home a lot, I can take your pet for a walk, hang out outside or let them keep me company on the couch too! I can also come over your home and care for your pet there as needed (depends where and on length of stay requested).

We’ve owned and raised dogs of all shapes and attitudes and sizes, so our experience covers most ground! Our 14 year old dog is a pit who was very reactive in his prime, teaching us a lot about how to handle reactive dogs safely, but now as a sleepy senior, he’s taught us more about senior dog care. We raised our second dog from a puppy, so she taught us so much about the adorable havoc that puppies can bring! Our newest is a rescue, who was a street dog in Texas. She was very skittish and is still people-shy, so we’ve learned a lot about how to approach wary dogs, and how to break those naughty habits she learned on the streets! We love our pack so much, and we’d love to use our knowledge to love yours too! We both work from home 100% of the time, so we are home all day if you need a daycare or want to board, your pup will rarely be left alone if ever! Our schedules are flexible enough that we can easily fit in multiple drop in visits or daily walks too. We have a fully fenced in yard, a little over half an acre. Our two younger dogs would love to play with a new friend, but will also give space if yours isn’t into the rough and tumble! Our dogs are all allowed on the furniture, one sleeps in bed with us. Every dog is different. Every stay is personalized. Dedicated Full-Time Dog Care When your dog stays with me, they’re never just left alone. Caring for dogs is my full-time job, and I provide around-the-clock supervision. Other than a brief trip for essentials, your pup has my full attention day and night. Because every dog has different needs, rates may vary. Some pups require more time, energy, or structure, and in those cases the rate is adjusted to reflect the additional supervision or management needed to keep them safe and comfortable. This ensures every dog receives the right level of care — and gives you the confidence that your furry friend is being looked after as if they were my own. Safe & Secure Environment My home has a fully fenced backyard, built and maintained with safety in mind. After raising two strong alpha dogs here for 17 years, I made sure the fencing is secure and reliable. Dogs always get supervised time outside — I never just leave them unattended in the yard.
About: I lived with pets growing up...dogs, cats, reptiles, horses. I am very active, and will play or run with your animal for hours! I am licensed to administer medication to humans, and have volunteered with wild animal rescues, so I can care for sick animals too. I choose the hours I work at my job, allowing me to pick up a shift at any hour and remain flexible with last-minute changes. I won’t be boarding at my home, but I have reliable transportation and wouldn’t mind taking your dog to a dog park or nearby hiking trail. Otherwise, let me know what you and your animal feel most comfortable with! About: Hi! I’m Kelly, I’m 27 and have been an animal lover pretty much my entire life. I grew up in a house with three dogs and three cats, ranging from puppies to senior cats and a tiny toy poodle all the way up to a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and cats with every personality imaginable! I also used to volunteer with an animal shelter, helping transport animals to foster homes and adoption events. My stepmom is also a vet tech, so I was lucky to grow up around someone who taught me a lot about caring for animals and understanding their individual needs/ any medications! Animals have always been a huge part of my family, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet and all the little quirks that make them them. I have a cat of my own now who I absolutely adore, so I completely understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet. About: I've had dogs and cats all through my life. They've helped me through the toughest of times.. From small dogs to big dogs to kittens to grown cats. I would love to take care of yours, Just give me the chance. When your fur babies arrive in my care I will give them some down time to adjust and getting to know one another. Although I am a Colorado native, I just moved back to the US from Australia and brought my fur babies back with me (that's why I do not have any testimonies yet, but give me a shot and you won't be disspointed.) I find genuine happiness in taking care of dogs (especially if they get along with mine!) and I have Rover sat/walked several dogs in both Denver and Jackson Hole. I never give in to begging for human food and always ensure I shut crates appropriately as desired by the owner. I often reward puppies with small treats for positive enforcing behavior.
