About: I’ve been caring for pets my entire life, from volunteering at animal shelters to eventually managing one, I have such a passion for animal wellness. If you are visiting Boulder and need day care for your dog while you take on a challenging hike, attend an event or concert, I’m your pets home-away-from-home. I can give meds to pets, care for any special needs they have and work with high energy or “difficult” pets. I love them all, from hyper mouthy puppies to needy seniors! I’m currently a data scientist exploring new employment opportunities with an incredible passion for pets. I’ve previously managed an Animal Shelter and trained volunteers on both feline and canine behavior. I am a foster for Longmont Humane society and am a rescue mom to three cats and two dogs. I have a half acre privacy fenced backyard for pets that visit. I have a large SUV for transporting pets that want an adventure or need daycare pet sitting.
“Curtis did a fantastic job boarding our golden doodle. He is very thorough and communicates very well. Our dog was very active during her stay with lots of walks and play time. We received lots of photos and even got report cards. Looking forward to our next stay with Curtis.”

“Julia and Barbara are amazing pet sitters!!! We absolutely love them! They took our Aussie on so many fun excursions while we were away and we could tell our dog had so much fun with them. We will definitely be using their services again :)”

“Marlow took care of my dog for 8 days at her home, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. One of the things I appreciated most was the daily updates. She sent photos and messages every single day, which meant so much to me because I missed my dog and loved knowing how he was doing. She kept me informed about his activities and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. My dog absolutely loved her large, beautiful backyard. We visited before his stay, and he was already having the best time exploring it. She also took him to the creek, which he loved! It was clear that she spent a lot of quality time with him, giving him plenty of exercise, attention, and cuddles. Her roommate was also incredibly kind and clearly cared about my dog, which made me feel even more comfortable leaving him in their care. She has a lot of experience handling large dogs with leash reactivity. My dog is a 98-pound Pitbull/Lab mix, and she knew exactly how to work with him and manage his needs confidently and safely. Her experience really showed throughout his stay. I am so grateful for the care, communication, and love she gave my dog. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, experienced, and caring dog sitter!”

“Chelsea is a great dog sitter and lives right beside open space and trails where the dogs can get outside and run. She is kind, conscientious and has her own sweet pup who joins the fun. I give her the highest recommendations and will use her agin for sure.”

“This was my second time using Tigran. I felt like the pups were very well taken care of and loved. He sent me videos every day. Great communicator and flexible with drop off and pick up times. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life. Growing up on a farm taught me responsibility, patience, and how to understand animals’ unique personalities and needs. Today, I’m the proud owner of two Golden Retrievers, so I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need consistency and training reinforcement to senior dogs who require extra patience, attention, and specialized care. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m committed to providing attentive, personalized care that helps them feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. I work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide consistent attention throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m able to accommodate walks, potty breaks, play sessions, feedings, and check-ins that fit your pet’s normal routine. My flexibility also makes it easier to accommodate last-minute requests whenever my schedule allows. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions before care begins. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or my own, I provide a calm, attentive environment and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, and supervision. I understand that every pet is different, so I follow owner instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, medications, walking routines, training commands, and household rules. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.

“Linnea did a wonderful job taking care of our cats! She was very responsive and flexible. Our cats were calm and well adjusted when we arrived home.”

“Melissa was great! She was super communicative and responsive. We really appreciated the updates on how our cat was doing especially after a big thunderstorm. Would love to have her cat sit again.”

About: I’ve had my own cat since I was 7, and I’ve spent the past 14 years caring for him. I started cat sitting neighbors pets when I was 12, and have continued to do so in my adulthood. I have experience with both indoor and outdoor cats, as I live with one currently. I have cared for both kittens and senior cats, and tend to be able to get shy cats to socialize. I’m used to all the dirty work that comes with cats, like cleaning litter boxes and cleaning up animals they may bring in.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have six years of professional experience caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Whether I’m helping a friend, family member, or client, I treat every pet with the same love and care I would give my own. I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid through the American Red Cross. I have a flexible schedule and an active lifestyle, so pets in my care get plenty of attention and exercise throughout the day. I want your pet to feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed, so I’m always happy to follow their usual schedule to make their stay feel as close to home as possible. Your pet's safety and happiness always come first. I live right next to North Boulder Park, so there's plenty of space to play and explore! I have a 30ft long training leash so we can safely play fetch and frisbee together, and I also live right by some great trails if your dog enjoys hiking. While I adore hosting social dogs, my home is also a great environment for dogs who prefer to be the only pet in the home, since I accept only one client at a time. I'm happy to accommodate multiple dogs from the same household, though!

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, and a variety of farm animals, giving me experience with pets of all sizes, personalities, and care needs. Although I’ve always cared for pets of friends and family, I am excited to now care for pets at a more professional level through Rover! I’ve had cats for basically my whole life, and can definitely say they are my favorite animals! As someone who has rescued many kittens from the street, I feel confident in caring for kitties of all ages and health requirements!! When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated like family. I believe every animal deserves patience, attention, and plenty of love, and I care for every pet as if they were my own.
“We used Amelia again to dog sit our anxious rescue, and she continues to exceed our expectations. Chickpea was so happy to see her — always a great sign with a dog who takes time to warm up to people. Amelia is a genuinely calming presence, sent regular updates so we could relax, and clearly has a gift for working with dogs who need a little extra patience. So glad we found her.”

About: My family was never cat people until my sister adopted one in college… After that, my whole family fell in love, and we later got an orange kitty of our own. Mango, our cat, is now my mom’s favorite child, and I can’t even blame her!

About: I have loved cats for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I cared for a stray cat as if it were my own, which made me realize how much I genuinely enjoy being around and caring for cats. Since then, I’ve always loved spending time with cats of all personalities and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.

“Gillian was great with our older cat. She really took the time to connect with him and make him feel comforted while we were away. She sent photos, videos and updates regularly and we felt very assured our furry friend was in excellent hands while we were away. Thank you, Gillian!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have helped care for them from when they were puppies through adulthood. Over the years, I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding, playtime, training reinforcement, and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. I’ve also helped care for dogs belonging to family members, which has given me experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Growing up with dogs has taught me how important patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s unique personality is when caring for them. I’m currently a graduate student doing research, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate walks throughout the week. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so fitting dog walks into my daily routine comes naturally. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, regular exercise, or some extra attention during the day, I’ll work to provide reliable and consistent care. When caring for pets, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand every dog has different personalities, energy levels, and routines, so I try to adapt to what works best for them. Whether in your home or out on walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, giving them plenty of attention, and following any instructions or routines you provide to ensure consistency and trust.

“Gus LOVED his time here. He got to play all day and every picture looked like the happiest guy on the block! It was also evident how much he loved it when I picked him up.. he didn’t want to leave! The only time he does that is with his foster mom. I would trust them any other time as they clearly made a paradise for my boy. Also their dog is so sweet and clearly a happy pup who loves to play. Last, great communication throughout the day!! Thank you again, Jessica!”

I am comfortable taking your dogs on walks and hikes in the area!
“Rui and her partner did a great job caring for my dog with separation anxiety. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. I recommend them and will be using their services again myself too!”

“Dakota and Kate took such wonderful care of Ultra! Their home is super pet-friendly, with a dog door leading to a big yard. It gave us all peace of mind that the dogs would get along. We’ll be booking with them again... soon!”

“Celia and Mark took excellent care of my dog, Winston! He has separation anxiety so I was quite nervous to leave him with someone else but they handled it beautifully! About: I’ve always loved being around and caring for dogs! I’ve had a dog of my own for almost my whole life, who I care for on the daily. When a friend is in need of a dog sitter they come to me and I care for their pup like my own! I am home very often on a daily basis so I have lots of time to spend with your pet and care for their needs! This leaves plenty of time for play and attention. I have a big fenced in yard where the dog can run and play along with my energetic 4 year old dog. Your pet can be crated if needed/desired but is welcome on the furniture just like my dog!
“Emilie helped us out tremendously with some last minute day care. She's quick to respond, friendly, and I felt at ease leaving our pup with her. Two big thumbs up from us!”

About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have always loved spending time with them. Over the years, I’ve gained a lot of experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Being around dogs has always come naturally to me, and I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I am currently a student taking online classes from home while also working a part-time job, so I spend a lot of time at home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day and make sure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I live in a house with a small yard and am across the street from a small park, with a much larger park only a few blocks away, which is great for walks and outdoor time. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for by giving them lots of attention, playtime, and regular potty breaks or walks. Since I spend a lot of time at home, pets will rarely be left alone for long periods and will always have someone around to keep them company and stick to their normal routine.
“Allison and John were so amazing and took great care of my doggie. They were also super communicative, took lots of pictures and did two walks. Their home has a really nice backyard. I feel super grateful, thank you Allison and John for taking such good care of Yara 🌸🥹”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for a year for a 1-year-old, now 2 years old, lab puppy. I am offering walks, drop in visits, and day care. I mostly work from home as I finish up nursing school, so I am often free for care! I only work twice a week and will be free entirely for the next few months as I study for my NCLEX for nursing. Pet care would be a happy distraction and a great use of my free time! I always give 100% of my attention to the animals I care for and love taking them for walks and playing outside! I am always sure to bring a toy and make the animal feel as comfortable as possible with a new friend.
“Stephanie was absolutely wonderful! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and communicative from start to finish, and she sent thoughtful updates throughout the day that gave me so much peace of mind. My dog, Nellie, can be pretty sensitive, and Stephanie was so patient and caring with her. It’s clear she has a natural way with dogs and creates an environment where they feel safe and comfortable. I felt completely at ease leaving Nellie in her care, which is saying a lot. I would recommend Stephanie without hesitation and will absolutely book with her again!”

About: You know when you’re out in public and your dog unexpectedly rushes straight over to say hi to a random (specific) person then needs to be physically pulled away even after they got the attention they wanted? For some reason, I’ve always been that random but specific person. Sometimes it feels like dogs suddenly materialize in front of me or like their “hello” is really more of a “it’s about time you got here!” Dogs (and cats, for that matter) also tend to insist on cuddling up next to me instead of their usual pick when I visit their homes (and I’m certainly not complaining). I currently only have cats, but I grew up with three dogs (a chocolate lab, a miniature schnauzer, and a Pomeranian) and have learned how to love both in the ways they want me to love them. What I love most about dogs is how pure they are. We all appreciate their undying loyalty, of course, but the sweet, unconditionally caring emotional presence that dogs carry themselves with is one of the things that makes life worth living. I consider non-human animals to be people too, and dogs are definitely among the best non-human animals. I would be just as excited as your dog(s) would be to make a new friend! My availability is flexible in general but particularly in terms of the time of day. I have a circadian rhythm difference that makes my sleep “schedule” change throughout each week, so if I’m given sufficient notice (48 hours), I’m easily able to modify my waking hours if your pet has time-sensitive needs. As mentioned in my bios, animals seem to naturally see me as a Disney princess. However, even though I’m very confident that I’ll get along with your pet(s) without any issues, their friendship is theirs to give, not mine to demand. Their needs are my top priority (and would be even if I weren’t petsitting); I recognize that some animals need lots of time and space to truly feel safe, and giving them that time and space is the only way to create a mutually comforting environment. Even if your dog/cat actually is insatiably social and unfailingly affectionate, I want to be sure that I get an idea of any individual boundaries or strong preferences beforehand so that I’m able to treat them with the same respect and care that I would a human person. As far as dogs and cats that want lots of love and affection, I am happy to give and share it! My cats sleep with me most nights and I often have one on my lap or next to my leg throughout a given day. Either way, I’ll follow your pet’s lead.
About: I have been a dog lover/owner/caretaker my entire life. I currently live with two doggies, a german shepherd and mixed terrier, and can’t wait to meet more dogs in the neighborhood :) I currently am off school for the summer so I have a completely open schedule to play with your dogs and make sure they get the attention they need! I am very experienced in caring for dogs trained for both on and off leash activities! Your dogs safety is my top priority - and their happiness :)
“I had to go out of town for two weeks and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to walk my dog than Alex! From the meet and greet to the daily rover cards, the whole process went very smoothly. I felt at ease during my travels knowing that my dog was with Alex getting her daily walks.”

I have a large, fenced in yard with no other pets, which is great if your pet has trouble around other animals. I also live very close to North Boulder park! And when I am caring for your animal at your home, I am mindful of private spaces and boundaries, and I always make sure to entirely clean up after myself.
“Emma was WONDERFUL! We booked her last minute and she totally alleviated all our stress. We went away for the weekend and she gave us our man Gus long and good walks and gave some love to our cats, even going as far to search for one that was hiding. 10/10, we will be booking her in the future!”

“Maddy was very professional with great communication. She kept me updated with pictures and videos and it looked like my pup got LOTS of love and attention. Georgia was content and sleepy after pickup, so I know she had a great time and got a workout. Having a fenced backyard is also a big plus. I will definitely take Georgia to Maddy again for sitting.”

“Aubrey is amazing and very helpful. Fen is very enthusiastic to be around her and her pets. She has a fenced yard and plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. She was able to pick Fen up and drop him off. I am also rebooking her over Christmas!”
“We are so happy we found Della to watch our dog. This was our second stay using Della and first multi-night stay. We had to drop our dog off on super short notice and Della was able to accommodate us. She is extremely easy to work with and provided tons of thorough updates on our dog. You can tell she really cares, and she is extremely thoughtful. I highly recommend Della.”

“Jessica and Sophie were wonderful watching our pup! We were sent many pictures and our dog had a great time playing with Sophie. He was well cared for and is now exhausted. Highly recommend!”

“Elise sent plenty of pictures and took excellent care of my dog. Would highly recommend her, and plan on using her rover services again in the future!”

“This was my second time using Tigran. I felt like the pups were very well taken care of and loved. He sent me videos every day. Great communicator and flexible with drop off and pick up times. Highly recommend.”

“Our family had the opportunity to go abroad for two months and we did not know what to do with Luna, our 2-year-old Aussie. When we met Sarah and her family, we knew Luna would be in the best possible hands. Sarah was the most incredible caretaker - she sent us photos and text updates almost every day we were away to ensure we knew how Luna was doing and I could tell she cared for Luna like her own pet - with love and care. We were so blessed to have found Sarah and Luna is very happy!”

“Coral did a great job watching my pup Phoebe! She was great with communicating and sending updates, and seemed like Phoebe had an awesome time! Will definitely reach out again 🙏”

“Karla is the best! Our dog stayed with her for two weeks. It was the first time we had someone watch him who wasn't family or friends. We immediately he was in the best caring hands. Karla is a pro and took the excellent care of our dog. We got regular updates that let me know he was having a great time. Karla is a wonderful choice for taking care of your fury family member.”

“Emily, Hector and Lemon are great! They are so loving and will give your pup all the attention (and you'll get a really detailed updates)! I think our dog spent time better than we did 🙂”
