About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover who has been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs taught me how important it is to provide pets with patience, attention, exercise, and lots of love. For the past 6 years, I've volunteered with Fulton County Animal Services, where I've worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. About: I’m in a house with the 3 different roommates (CU Boulder Students) who all he’s up with dogs and know what it’s like to care for them. I personally have 2 of dogs at home, one small and one big, and love playing and showing attention to them. We all are CU Boulder students but with our schedules, there is always at least one of us home at all time. During this time the dogs will either be outside with a fenced backyard playing and running around, relaxing inside, or going out for a nice walk! We have a huge fenced in yard and have had plenty of dogs over here before. We have a great amount of dog toys in the yard as well and always will have a water bowl for the dogs.

Lennon was a very diificult dog to train because she's incredibly smart, independent and not very food motivated. I have watched 14 year old standard poodles with a lot of anxiety and medical issues, to a shy mini poodle or a collie that wants to chase Lennon all day every day. Also my dog Lennon has severe allergies and very sensitive skin etc. so she takes medicine daily and I give her probiotics and am always watching to make sure she's not having a bad reaction. She has gone into anaphylaxis twice and luckily I knew the signs and was able to get her to the vet just in time to save her life. I take dog care very seriously because of this, if I notice any change in behavior or red eyes etc. I will notify you immediately and see what the course of action should be. I value giving pet owners peace of mind because I know what it is like to be worried about your animal while traveling and theres no worse feeling. I love to send lots of pictures and videos so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I watched dogs on Rover for 2 years before in Georgia when I was married and unfortunately it was all booked under my ex's profile so you can't see all my reviews. I take my Aussie-doodle Lennon for daily walks and have multiple playtime sessions daily with fetch balls, plush toys, doing tricks, playing tug a war etc. I also have a big comfy couch downstairs I love to snuggle with my pup on. When the weather is nice I love to go on dog friendly hikes during (between 1-4 miles) nothing too crazy especially if it is hot outside. If your dog is snuggly, I offer snuggles. If they are play oriented I offer tons of play and my pup Lennon LOVES to play and chill (she's very insanely emotionally intelligent). She knows when to play and when to relax - which I love about her. I will always take dogs for walks (weather permitting) and take them out to potty every 3-4 hours minimum.

I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Being around dogs has always come naturally to me, and I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I am currently a student taking online classes from home while also working a part-time job, so I spend a lot of time at home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day and make sure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I live in a house with a small yard and am across the street from a small park, with a much larger park only a few blocks away, which is great for walks and outdoor time. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for by giving them lots of attention, playtime, and regular potty breaks or walks. Since I spend a lot of time at home, pets will rarely be left alone for long periods and will always have someone around to keep them company and stick to their normal routine.
About: I’ve been in love with dogs since I can remember, and my favorite type of work/volunteering has always involved them. When I was 15 I started dog sitting for my family friend, I watched and walked little Johnny twice a week for almost 2 years while his mom was out doing errands. After that, I started volunteering at the LoveJoy Foundation, an animal rescue in California. I walked dogs, cleaned crates, and even helped with vaccinations once a week at adoption events! My time at LoveJoy was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and it taught me how to work with different types of dogs and different behaviors, including neurodivergent and disabled pups. I have a family dog of my own, sweet Montana, who will always be my best friend no matter how far apart we are. Montana is a bit older now, so we mostly enjoy hanging out on the couch together, but in his prior years I loved taking him on hikes, to the dog beach, and really anywhere that I went. I also have a crested gecko named Axel! I’m currently a junior at CU Boulder, so I do have school during the week but only for about 2-3 hours each day, most of the time I’m home to care for a pup! I absolutely love being outside here in Boulder, it’s too beautiful not to be, so walks and adventures are plentiful! I have a large house for your pup to roam around, but if it’s preferred that he stays in a crate during the day I can accommodate that too! My yard isn’t fenced, but we would have a lot of outside time at the park and on walks exploring all corners of Boulder. I do have experience dog sitting in client’s homes, I know that some dogs are probably more comfortable staying in their own home!

Our dog is an old boy and can be a little defensive at times, and pretty slow-moving, but Sam was super patient with him. Sam walked him for a full 30 minutes and from what I can tell, he just let our dog take it slow, sniffing (and peeing on) all the things along the way, which is his absolute favorite thing to do. I’d recommend Sam for sure, and will ask him back if we ever need help with our pets again!”
