“This was my first Rover experience so I was a little nervous to leave Indie with someone new (admittedly, I'm a rather needy pet parent - oops! :) ) Della was so thorough in explanation her daily routine with doggie visitors during our meet and greet a local park. Indie is a pretty shy with new people, and Della completely respected Indie's pace to earn her trust. Della has a radiantly warm and positive energy. Her calm confidence and compassion helped put both Indie and me at ease for her first overnight sleepover party. I received plenty of photos of Indie joyfully leaping around the park with the other doggie guests - and very prompt responses - which I so appreciate. Della somehow even captured a photo Indie with her floppy ears completely airborne as she ran around with other dogs - which made me laugh and is now my phone wallpaper. When I went to pick her up the next morning, her sweet daughter Uma parted with her with plenty of hugs and kisses. What a sweet family Indie is lucky to reside with when I'm out of town. I currently work in the early afternoons with two days off during the week with full availability. I am an early bird and can be there for your dog as early as 6:30am until about 12:00pm. Safe Space: Designate a specific area or room for the pet, providing them with a sense of security. Exercise and Playtime: Engage in regular play sessions and take your pet for walks or provide a secure outdoor space for them to explore. Social Interaction: Spend quality time with your pet to prevent loneliness and anxiety. Provide toys and enrichment activities to keep them mentally stimulated. Emergency Plan: Be prepared for emergencies by having a first aid kit and knowing the location of the nearest veterinary clinic.

When a friend is in need of a dog sitter they come to me and I care for their pup like my own! I am home very often on a daily basis so I have lots of time to spend with your pet and care for their needs! This leaves plenty of time for play and attention. I have a big fenced in yard where the dog can run and play along with my energetic 4 year old dog. Your pet can be crated if needed/desired but is welcome on the furniture just like my dog!

About: I absolutely love dogs, and until recently, I had my own old, grumpy boy who taught me a lot about caring for dogs with unique needs. My family got our first dog when I was 13, and then welcomed another when I was 21. I was very involved in raising our second dog from puppyhood, so I have firsthand experience with the energy, patience, consistency, and supervision that young dogs require. About six years ago, I adopted my own dog from a shelter when he was already 8 years old. He had epilepsy and plenty of his own idiosyncrasies, which gave me experience caring for an older dog with medical needs and a very specific personality. I especially enjoy getting to know each dog's individual personality and routine. I currently work part-time and study from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to adjust my routine to accommodate your pup’s needs, whether that means regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, or simply having someone around for companionship. I’m home much of the day and would love to give your dog plenty of attention while you’re away. I live in a ground-floor apartment with a fenced-in backyard, including a dog door that gives pups easy access to the yard when they need it. I love getting outside and exploring the area, and I’d be happy to bring your dog along for a local hike, a neighborhood walk, or some playtime in the yard. I also live with my boyfriend, who works from home and is around for most of the day. He’s always happy to give visiting pets some extra attention and love, but I will be responsible for all of their care and will be their primary caregiver throughout their stay.

If you are visiting Boulder and need day care for your dog while you take on a challenging hike, attend an event, I’m your pets home-away-from-home. I do require a meet and greet prior to booking. I take my dog for walks in the morning and evening with a bathroom break in the middle of the day. We also incorporate playing and training and sometimes walk on local trails or go for hikes. I abide by any rules your dog follows when they are with you. My dog is free to go anywhere in the house during the day (although he usually hangs out with me!), and he stays in my room while I am out of the house.

I have owned two large Labrador retrievers and a lab-pit bull mix, and currently own a 10 yr-old chihuahua/terrier mix. I am an avid walker and will take your dog on the long walks he/she needs. I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule. I work from home most days and can fit my schedule around the dog's needs (regular walks, potty breaks, etc.). I will keep your dog on a leash during all walks, and aim to walk in low traffic areas of your neighborhood. I will speak with you in advance regarding whether your dog is okay to socialize with other dogs (i.e. on walks or at the park). I will keep an eye on your dog during all potty breaks and ensure that any items that might be dangerous to your dog within your home are kept out of reach at all times. I will speak with you in advance to understand the needs of your dog, and any risks that you account for in your home and the surrounding neighborhood.

About: I absolutely love dogs. All dogs, period. I have a deep understanding of each dog's unique needs, quirks, and preferences, and I make sure to give a tailored experience that goes beyond routine tasks. I strive to create a home away from home for your dogs and make sure they are comfortable as well as you. I currently work in the early afternoons with two days off during the week with full availability. I am an early bird and can be there for your dog as early as 6:30am until about 12:00pm. Safe Space: Designate a specific area or room for the pet, providing them with a sense of security. Exercise and Playtime: Engage in regular play sessions and take your pet for walks or provide a secure outdoor space for them to explore. Social Interaction: Spend quality time with your pet to prevent loneliness and anxiety. Provide toys and enrichment activities to keep them mentally stimulated. Emergency Plan: Be prepared for emergencies by having a first aid kit and knowing the location of the nearest veterinary clinic.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have helped care for them from when they were puppies through adulthood. Over the years, I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding, playtime, training reinforcement, and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. I’ve also helped care for dogs belonging to family members, which has given me experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Growing up with dogs has taught me how important patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s unique personality is when caring for them. I’m currently a graduate student doing research, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate walks throughout the week. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so fitting dog walks into my daily routine comes naturally. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, regular exercise, or some extra attention during the day, I’ll work to provide reliable and consistent care. When caring for pets, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand every dog has different personalities, energy levels, and routines, so I try to adapt to what works best for them. Whether in your home or out on walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, giving them plenty of attention, and following any instructions or routines you provide to ensure consistency and trust.
