Because I only care for one family’s pets at a time, I’m able to give them focused, personalized care instead of dividing my attention between multiple bookings. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress free as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment where pets can settle in and feel like part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced yard for supervised potty breaks, playtime, and outdoor enrichment, along with a quiet dog park just a few blocks away that is usually empty. I only use the park when it is appropriate for the individual dog and with the owner’s permission. I also have a dog (Jayda) of my own who is friendly, calm, and respectful of other dogs’ boundaries. I always prioritize safe introductions and closely monitor interactions so every pet feels comfortable. If a visiting dog is not comfortable around other dogs, my home has separate rooms and spaces where pets can be safely kept apart whenever necessary. Their comfort and safety always come first. Because I care for one family at a time, I can give each pet personalized attention and follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. For care in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. During drop-ins or house sitting, I provide fresh food and water, potty breaks, litter box or yard cleanup, medication when needed, playtime, affection, and any other care instructions provided. For walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and letting each dog move at a pace that suits their age, energy level, and comfort. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.

I have trained and titled one of my dogs in AKC Rally and Waterworks ( something specific to my dogs breed), she is also a grand champion. About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl. Big, small, fluffy, energetic, you name it, i’ve done it. My family is full of animal lovers and I want to spread that love to other people’s animals as well. I have had every variaron of dog you can think of and they’re always my best friend. About: I have a Golden Retriever that is 6 years old and my cat who is 4 & mean the world to me. I’ve pet sat for friends and family throughout the years and enjoy spending time with them. I’ve gone through the puppy and kitten phase so I understand the chaos it entails. I’ve dealt with special food diets, reactive barking on walks, stranger anxiety etc. I have not had to give any meds other than regular flea & tick but I am more than willing to learn. I am a nursing student and am not queasy or new to the importance and safety it requires. About: I am currently a student at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine to become a vet! I have had pets at home since elementary school including dogs, cats, and chickens.
