I am available full-time four days out of the week. I am available to go on walks/hikes with your dog during the week and/or weekends. I would be available for overnight stays during the weekends. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. About: I’ve had dogs as long as I can remember. Currently, my pride and joy is Peppa, my Jack Russell. Since she needs about two hours of play and walking a day, she’s gotten me into the groove in terms of supporting even the most energetic of pets. I’m attentive, communicative, and flexible with varying needs and preferences. I can administer oral medication and things like ear drops, but have less experience caring for dogs with exceptionally high needs. I’m also very LGBTQIA friendly and a poet, so I can write you a poem about your pet if you want 🐱🐶❣️ I’m extremely flexible date-wise! I work part time (a couple hours a day, two times a week) as an instructor at UC Davis, and otherwise work from home as a technical writer, where I set my own schedule. When caring for pets in your home, I take the utmost care to follow whatever rules and expectations you communicate to me. I will keep your home secure, clean, and high vibrational. Your pet’s well-being is my number one priority, and keeping their habitat in tip top shape is a huge part of that!
About: People call me the cat whisperer because I am able to work with the shy and spicy kitties. I have volunteered at the animal shelter for 9 years. I have decided to take my love and passion for cats and share it! I am available as needed as long it is scheduled ahead of time. I can make most things fit into my calendar. I will only be providing drop in visits. I would care for your cats like they are my own! I will play with them, change their litter, food, and water dishes. I will make sure to give them that extra TLC while you are gone. Also, if needed, give space when the cat is uncertain of me and take my time to approach if they are feeling shy.

I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. I can also take care of aggressive or anxious dogs, and I’m happy to help reinforce good behavior for pets in training. I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary. As someone who works from home, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule!
