“Annie is great! She’s so sweet and kind! She accommodated every need for my Bella and went above and beyond. Check ins were good and she even bathed my dog. She treated Bella like her own and for that, I’m thankful!”

“Wenchi was amazing with Raya! She sent regular updates with pictures and gave her the best treats. She was really flexible with us as well. We got married and she was willing come to the venue to pick her up directly after the ceremony! It was a seamless pick up. And the she was willing to drop her off to us in a farther location. We even changed the location a few times, and she was willing and happy to. We are so happy with her communication and taking such good care of Raya. Highly recommend!!”

“Charlie had a great time and was very tired coming home after 3 days. It’s so nice to know he is somewhere he enjoys instead of being stuck at home missing us. Looking forward to booking again!”

“Irina was wonderful and so sweet! We left our dog with her for a couple of days and She updated me about everything regarding my dog and made sure to double check with me before anything. Most importantly my dog had so much fun! We would definitely book with her again!”

“Our pack was in great hands with Roy. Two of our three dogs are seniors and he did an excellent job of meeting their needs. We received updates and pictures frequently while we were on our trip, which we loved. They had plenty of exercise and attention. We definitely came home to happy dogs. Roy is the BEST pet sitter!! His communication, attention to detail and professionalism alleviated any concerns we had about leaving our dogs while were away.”

“They were so accommodating on such short notice. Gave Bodie the quiet space she needed on the final leg of her spay recovery. Received many updates along with photos. I don't think she wanted to leave when it was time to pick her up. Wonderful people and will definitely keep Marie & James in mind for next time. <3”

“Edward had another wonderful stay with Jessie. He gets so excited when he sees her. He’s so much happier staying with her than at a boarding kennel and she takes great care of him.”

“We were very happy that Luna and Loki were well cared for and that they adjusted well to Brandee and her house. We will keep her in mind the next time we need a sitter. Thank you much, Brandee.”

“Randi took great care of our pup. Tons of pictures and updates (which were appreciated). Got to play with other dogs and be “part of the family” which is exactly what we wanted. Will definitely book again!”

“Lupe was absolutely wonderful with our service dog. She accepted him at the last minute during the holidays, which was truly a godsend for me since he’s always by my side. She understood that he’s a bit spoiled and treated him with so much care and kindness. She even sent us pictures and videos, which really eased my mind. I will definitely be recommending her. I can’t thank her enough.”

“I wasn't sure my dog Max would want to come back home after spending time with Mayra and all the beings in her warm and comforting home. Her kind and gentle nature put us all at ease.”

“Robert was great! Olive had a great time and was well taken care of. He sent us updates and photos, and we felt totally comfortable leaving Olive at his beautiful home. I’d recommend Robert to anyone that wants their dog to have some great 1-on-1 attention.”

“Martha was the BEST! She kept me updated everyday about Duke. She also asked me all the right questions to ensure that Duke would be good during his stay as well as comfortable. I will definitely be bringing Duke back! You will not be disappointed! Book with Martha.”

“Yifang was able to board Todd on short notice. She was friendly and her place was clean and secured. Todd was relaxed even though it was his first time there, and he had a great stay at her home. Yifang kept me updated with pictures and messages! Five stars for her.”

“Dash had a wonderful time with Giezell and her family. They treated him as their own. He was well taken care of. Love the pics and videos Giezell sent, especially the one with her daughter hugging Dash! We will definitely be back!”

“Denise was wonderful with my puppy. It was his first time being with a sitter for several days. She took care of him like he was one of her own. I had just the right amount of updates for him each day. I will definitely use her when I need a sitter again. She is great!!”

“Anthony is top-notch! He took great care of our King Charles Cavalier for four days. Anthony sent lots of pictures and videos of our dog playing with his dog, Kai. He took our dog on many walks to the local park and played fetch with the dogs his backyard. Anthony was very flexible with pickup/drop off times and had everything ready to go when it was time to take our dog home. I highly recommend Anthony for dog boarding and we will be rebooking with him in a few weeks.”

About: What sets me apart as a cat sitter is my lifelong, hands-on experience with cats in both multi-cat and individual home environments. Growing up in a household with nine cats gave me a strong understanding of different feline personalities, routines, and behaviors. I also currently care for my own 3-year-old cat, which has deepened my experience with daily care, health awareness, and enrichment. I’m especially attentive to each cat’s unique personality and comfort level, whether they’re shy, playful, independent, or social. I prioritize maintaining their normal routine, keeping litter boxes clean, and ensuring they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’m also highly communicative and provide updates so you always know how your cat is doing. My goal is to create a calm, stress-free experience for both cats and their owners, treating every cat as if they were my own.

About: From an early age, I lived with cats. Some people aren't "cat people"; I'm the opposite. Whether the shy type or the snuggle muffin, I adore cats. Recently rescued two ferals who are now (6 years later) the sweetest, happiest love bugs. I'll enjoy every moment with your cats. And they'll quickly look forward to my visits. I feel bad for people who aren't cat people. They're missing out!
“Great cat sitter from start to finish. Nayzeth followed all instructions perfectly, provided consistent updates, and clearly understands cat behavior as she does have 2 of her own. Boots, who is usually shy, warmed up quickly, which says a lot and everything was neat and tidy when I returned.”

About: Although I’ve never had a cat of my own, I’ve grown up visiting, watching, and caring for cats in my neighborhood! I have extensive experience checking in on and pet-sitting the cats of my neighbors. I’ll treat your cats & kittens like my own, giving them complete, dedicated care and respect. About: I grew up with dogs (a very sweet, energetic Australian shepherd mix, a crazy but loving Jack Russell terrier mix, and a super athletic labradoodle), so have loved and cared for high-energy dogs from a young age! I also have recent experience cat sitting my friends’ cat, which I really enjoyed :) I’m a registered nurse but haven’t found a job yet, so I’m looking to Rover for the interim! My days are very flexible when I’m in town. My husband and I just bought a home in Slide Hill Park, so we have a fenced-in backyard and a dog door that my dog can help your dog learn how to use :) A little about our dog: he’s a very sweet 9-month-old golden retriever/siberian husky mix named Oreo who we rehomed from another family who has to give him up because of landlord issues. He’s very friendly and loves to exercise and play with other dogs! He’s still intact for now— hoping to wait until he’s at least 1-year-old so he can finish growing. I love to run/walk him in Slide Hill Park, the Greenbelt, and the Arboretum, and I would love to take your pet along as well! I also really enjoy taking dogs to the dog park so they can socialize 🐕🐩🐕🦺🦮

“Best Rover pet sitter I’ve used! Sherry has an ideal setup for small dogs with hardwood in the house and a fenced in backyard. Incredibly responsive via text and Rover app. I was visiting Vacaville and did two days of daycare on very short notice so I could go shopping. If I lived closer she would be my go-to pet sitter!”

“Great Doggy Daycare! Annie took wonderful care of my dog, Shiloh, during daycare. She was kind, professional, and kept great communication. Shiloh came home happy and relaxed, which tells me everything I need to know! I highly recommend Annie. Randy & Shiloh 🐾”

“Riker had such a good experience with Roy the past 2 days. Roy offered a meet and greet before the Riker’s first stay. After Riker accepted all the pets, and a quick tangent discussion over Ironman helmets, the house was great, lots if space for doggos. Roy sent pics( @home and out on walks) and updates on how Riker was doing. Pickup and drop offs are easy. Neighborhood is great, pet friendly, convenient but secluded community. Roy made the experience seamless, which made really made it stress free for Riker(and Me). Great experience. Definitely highly recommended.”

“Giezell watched Chloe while we attended wedding events for our son on two separate days. Getting videos and pics showing how well Chloe was doing was such a relief since we had never left her before. Giezell was very accommodating when we had to ask if Chloe could be picked up a little later than expected. We will definitely be asking Giezell to watch our sweet girl again!”

About: I have always been a dog lover, and I am now the mother of two dog-loving children. Your dog will not be short on love, affection, and play in our home! I am available full-time four days out of the week. I am available to go on walks/hikes with your dog during the week and/or weekends. I would be available for overnight stays during the weekends. I have a fenced yard, and I can easily crate your dog if needed. Your dog would be welcome to come inside our home. Your dog would not be left unaccompanied or unsupervised in our home. For dogs with good social skills, I would also be able to take them to a dog park nearby. I’m currently self-employed and often work from home. I am available everyday, except Wednesdays, to dog-sit. I regularly take my dog on walks in the morning and evening with a couple of potty-breaks throughout the day. Cinder would love some company on her walks! We have a fenced yard they can go outside. We often take breaks to play and stretch in the house. There is easy access to water in the home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up in a household that always had multiple pets (fish, dogs, hamsters) and have since expanded my love for animals by dog sitting and cat sitting for friends and family in the neighborhood. I am offering dog walking, sitting and other pet care services for whatever furry friend you need! I’m excited to get started with Rover and build community connections in Davis! I am currently a UC Davis student looking for a part-time way to make extra money and spend more time outside and with animals! I love going on long walks and hanging out at the dog park, or just entertaining your pet at home. I live in an apartment with an unfenced yard. When I dog sit for friends, I make sure to give regular potty breaks every couple of hours and maintain an environment that is safe and comforting for your pet.
“April was great. She really took time to ask a lot of questions to get familiar with Romeo. Romeo is somewhat of a high maintenance dog due to his face folds and food allergies. She kept in contact sending updates on how he was doing as well as lots of pics. Romeo looked like he really had a good time. I have already booked another stay for Romeo with April. 🤗”

“Minhhan was the best Rover person I could have asked for with my Frenchie! She is so responsible, diligent and loving with my pup! I will definitely use her again and again whenever I need her support for my pup!”

“I couldn't ask for more from a dog sitter. Marcie followed my instructions, provided a comfortable environment with positive stimulation, kept me updated with messages/pics and was just an overall pleasant person. Wonderful job!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of love, patience, and personalized care I give every dog as if they were my own. I understand that every pup has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, so I take the time to make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. I have experience caring for puppies who need extra attention, structure, potty training support, and plenty of playtime, as well as senior dogs who require a calmer environment, medication administration, slower walks, and gentle care. I’m attentive to body language, behavior, and individual needs, which helps dogs quickly build trust and feel comfortable with me. Whether your dog is energetic and playful, shy and anxious, or older and needing extra patience, I provide reliable supervision, lots of affection, consistent communication, and a clean, stress-free environment. My goal is not just to “watch” your pet it’s to give them a positive experience where they feel loved, secure, and excited to come back. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work part-time and mainly from home, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I’m able to maintain a flexible schedule for walks, potty breaks, feeding times, playtime, and cuddle time, while also making sure each pet sticks to their normal routine as closely as possible. Since I’m home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone for long periods, which helps them feel comfortable, safe, and less anxious while their owners are away. I truly enjoy having animals around and make their care a priority in my everyday life, giving them lots of love, patience, and one on one attention. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. Since I work part-time and mainly from home, I’m able to give pets plenty of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Dogs staying in my home are welcome to roam freely and relax comfortably in the house rather than being confined, helping them feel more at ease and at home during their stay. I can also crate dogs if requested by the owner or if it’s part of the dog’s normal routine for sleeping, feeding, or downtime. I always prioritize safety by carefully monitoring interactions, maintaining a calm environment, and following each dog’s specific care instructions, routines, dietary needs, and comfort levels. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, stress free, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind knowing their dog is in good hands.

For the past 8 years, I’ve also had a cat who has taught me so much about patience, care, and the unique bond we share with our pets. Between my own pets and caring for friends’ cats and dogs, I’ve gained experience with different personalities, ages, and needs. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I truly enjoy making pets feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care is naturally part of my daily life since I’ve always had animals at home. I love starting and ending the day with walks, playtime, or cuddle sessions. Because I currently have a very flexible schedule, I can easily fit in feeding, exercise, and companionship throughout the day, making sure pets feel loved and cared for just like they would with their own family. In my home or in a client’s home, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow the routines they’re used to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet companionship so they feel at ease. I give lots of attention, cuddles, and exercise when needed, and I’m always careful to keep their environment clean, calm, and stress-free. Every pet is unique, and I make sure to adjust to their needs so they feel cared.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and my major responsibilities started at about 8 years old. I aided my own senior dog with her health issues as well as my neighbors dog who requires extra medical attention. I am well-versed in dog-breeds and the nature of these animals. I love all dogs and have always been the dog-walker for my neighborhood. I have experience with puppies and am comfortable with large dog breeds. This will most likely be my main job, as I am a university student returning home for the summer. I am super flexible schedule wise and can easily meet any expectations. I have a fenced yard and my own dog who is 10000% dog-friendly. I am used to crate-trained dogs as well as those who may need to be restricted in the house. They will have my full attention no matter the environment to ensure they are well taken care of.
About: I'm a very responsible pet parent to my own senior Maltese. I can provide medication as necessary since I'm aware of the medical needs of my own. Not working at the moment and want to spend time with my dog and other babies as much as I am able to. I would treat your dogs as much as I care for my own. I have a fenced yard and parks in the area. This is a very dog friendly community. Regular potty breaks and walks are the norm for my house.
About: People call me the cat whisperer because I am able to work with the shy and spicy kitties. I have volunteered at the animal shelter for 9 years. I have decided to take my love and passion for cats and share it! I am available as needed as long it is scheduled ahead of time. I can make most things fit into my calendar. I will only be providing drop in visits. I would care for your cats like they are my own! I will play with them, change their litter, food, and water dishes. I will make sure to give them that extra TLC while you are gone. Also, if needed, give space when the cat is uncertain of me and take my time to approach if they are feeling shy.
About: I grew up with a dog, cats, birds, bunnies, and fish. I'm a grad student in Davis with two FIV+ cats of my own, and I'm happy to help nearby pet owners out with drop-in services. I'm also a kitten/cat foster for the UCD Veterinarian School's Orphan Kitten Project and have experience with oral medication and spicy kitties. I'm a full-time grad student with two cats, so I can provide drop-in services for pets and boarding for FIV+ cats. Happy to check in on your pets when you're out of town! During drop-ins I can provide walks, litter box cleaning, feeding, oral medication, brushing, etc. For FIV+ cat boarding, I am open to following your specific schedule if needed.
About: Apart from owning my own dogs, cats, and reptiles, I have been working as a pet sitter for about 8 years. For the past year and half I have been working as a lead kennel technician and doggy daycare attendant for Performance K9 Training and Boarding. I have loads of experience working with aggressive dogs, dogs in training, puppies, and those with medical needs. Caring for animals is one of my biggest passions, in my free time I volunteer at animal shelters and in the fall I will be starting my studying at UC Davis for animal science! I am comfortable watching multiple pets at once, an expert in giving medications, and strive to keep your pet on a schedule that works best for both of you! I have recently switched to part time work at my kennel to prepare for moving in a few months, so I have plenty of time for check ins, walks, or overnight stays. I am looking to expand my pet walking and sitting services. I will provide the best care possible for your pets in their home. I will ensure your pet and home stay clean and supervised. I will ensure your pets stick to their schedule, get tons of playtime, and are groomed properly. If requested or in the case of emergencies I have a safe place for them in my car.

“Annie is great! She’s so sweet and kind! She accommodated every need for my Bella and went above and beyond. Check ins were good and she even bathed my dog. She treated Bella like her own and for that, I’m thankful!”

“Charlie had a great time and was very tired coming home after 3 days. It’s so nice to know he is somewhere he enjoys instead of being stuck at home missing us. Looking forward to booking again!”

“Robert was great! Olive had a great time and was well taken care of. He sent us updates and photos, and we felt totally comfortable leaving Olive at his beautiful home. I’d recommend Robert to anyone that wants their dog to have some great 1-on-1 attention.”

“Our dogs had an amazing stay with this daughter and mom duo. They gave us daily updates and we can tell they loved our dogs like their own. They had a nice yard and space for the dogs to go out and play in! Even with the yard space they still took them on walks and played ball with them. We will definitely book with them again in the future!”
“Summer (our 18 month Golden) adores April and her family and is the happiest girl at her house!!! She gives her so much love and all the walks and treats her as her own. This was the 4th time we have used April when we have gone away. We always feel so at ease and relaxed knowing that Summer was in April’s care. So lucky to have found her.”

“Zariyah is a very caring, dedicated dog sitter/boarder. She had no qualms about watching Acey for almost 4 weeks… although she was 8+ months pregnant at the time, and we didn’t know her condition until the boarding began! Her baby came early but her husband stepped in to help, even with their new baby. Acey received great care, including a lot of walking, and running & fetching at the nearby dog park.”

“My husband and I had a destination wedding & 2 week honeymoon right after and Briana watched our fur baby for 20 days! Olive loved being there for an extended stay and was so well taken care of! I would recommend Briana over and over again! Best dog sitter in Elk Grove! She is quick to respond and loves the pups like her own!!”

“Geisel was wonderful with Milo. She was accommodating and professional. I really appreciated all the cute photos. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Declan had such a great time!! We were so worried about leaving Declan but Marcie took great care of him and put our minds at ease. She sent us so many photos too (which we loved!) and was very responsive when we messaged her to check in on our pup.”
