I had a toy poodle for 14 years before she passed and growing up as an only child, she was my best friend and more than a dog. Now, although I don’t have any pets of my own (eventually will!) About: I’ve taken the most care of my two dogs since 2013. I also frequently visit my friends’ homes and spend time with their pets as well. I’m currently on a gap year prior to commencing my Masters degree, so I have complete availability! I am gone from November 8-15 and December 12-January 14, though. About: Since I was 11, I have done drop-in visits for dogs of friends and neighbors. Additionally, I have grown up walking my family’s dogs and hiking with them. For the past 6 years, I have done overnights with them and have helped maintain their medication schedules. I am out of school for the summer, so I have open availability each day. I am an early riser and night owl, so I am flexible depending on your needs. I respect client wishes for mode of entry to their home. About: I’ve been a pet owner for 8 years and a dog owner for 5 years. However, I’ve been a dog lover my whole life. I own a friendly lab pitbull mix back home. I've take care of him since he barely fit in my hands as a 4 week old puppy. I'm able to provide dedicated overnight care for dogs. Food, water, bed, crate and fence, will be provided as needed. Frequent potty breaks and walks can be given to the pet as he or she needs. Dog walking and dog care can be provided. I'm a student at UCSB. When I am off class, I work part-time with rover. About: I’ve always had a huge heart for animals since I was a kid. I treat pets as if they were my own and respect their space when needed. I’ve worked with different such as livestock (horses, goats, sheep, cows) and your typical domesticated pet. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, so having the opportunity to watch someone else’s pet brings me tremendous joy. I currently work full time at a vet hospital Tuesday-Saturdays so it is really nice to be able to come home after work to something warm and fluffy. While in a clients home I always check out the home first so I can feel comfortable and see all possible exits. Over the past 3 years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and even goats & farm animals of all ages, temperaments, and care needs. I have experience with: • Puppies, senior dogs, kittens, and multi-pet households • Large dogs (80+ lbs) and working breeds • Rescue dogs and reactive dogs • Administering oral medications Some of my previous pet care experience includes: • Caring for a Shiba Inu requiring oral medication for 1.5 months • Dog sitting 4 dogs from the same household for 3 weeks • Caring for 2 cats and 1 kitten from the same household for 1 month • Walking, jogging and hiking with dogs • Volunteering with Furry Friends Rescue and Muttville Senior Dog Rescue I’m especially comfortable working with rescue and reactive dogs. My own dog has reactivity challenges, so I understand the importance of patience and picking up on body language before a reaction happens. While I’m not a certified trainer, I’m happy to reinforce any training methods or routines you already use with your dog. My approach to pet care is centered around respect for each animal’s individual personality and boundaries. I prioritize clear communication and provide frequent updates and photos so owners feel informed and reassured while they’re away. I love meeting new dogs and cats and learning about their quirks, and I hope to meet your furry friend(s) soon! I understand my profile is new, so I don’t have as many testimonials. I will be fully available for the entire month of August 2026 for any of your pet care needs, including drop-ins, walks, and overnight care. I take the time to get to know each dog by asking lots of questions and observing their personality and play style. I love playing with dogs, my own dog often mistakes me for one because I match his energy! Working with reactive dogs has taught me that every dog has their own boundaries and unique personality. I never treat one dog the same as another and am always respectful of your pet’s limits.

About: I have owned dogs since I was 10 years old and cats since the mid 1970's. I have cared for, fed, walked, played with not only my own, but for friends and neighbors as well. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to walk and care for your pets. Mid-mornings to early afternoons some days, all day on other days. About: Hello, my family and I are huge animal lovers. We have been pet sitting for for a little over 3 of years now. We travel for long periods so don't have our own pets. This is why when your pet comes to our house, he/she will get spoiled with attention. We try and keep animals that are smaller than 50-55 lbs so they can enjoy free space in the house. I sometimes work at a school so my weekday calendar is usually blocked . Dogs will get lots of exercise when they're with us. about every 2 hours. They are allowed up on the sofa so come cuddle with us. Looking forward to meeting your fur family. I work at a school part time. So daytime usually they will hang out with my husband who works from home. Then afternoon onwards, myself and my two extremely gentle and sweet teen kids will be home to give the pet our undecided attention. Our house is fully fenced all around and pets will always be inside the house unless they want to sun bathe in the back yard.
About: I have grown up with dogs and around animals. I have two dogs who I walk, feed, and play with, I have also watched my neighbors pets since I was 11, when they went out of town. I currently do not have a job so I can fit in helping out walking or watching dogs anytime throughout the summer. It will be easy to fit into my routine. I take very good care of my own dogs and will treat any other animal the same. I will watch them to make sure they aren’t getting into any trouble and make sure they are safe and comfortable.

While it could help if they have a few more designated hiding spots, she was thoughtful in helping my cat settle in by finding a cozy spot in her closet, which my cat seems to really enjoy.
