“We first used Braden and Natalie for one day of doggy daycare, and it was clear Millie had a wonderful time. We knew she got plenty of interaction since she was tired when she got home. It was even more apparent when we brought her back a few days later for boarding since once we walked up the driveway, she started getting excited as she recognized the place—that gave us so much peace of mind. From the initial meet and greet, Braden and Natalie were thoughtful and thorough. They asked great questions, were down to earth, and clearly cared about getting to know Millie and her needs and keeping to her schedule. Throughout her stay, they kept us updated, which we really appreciated. Millie was happy and well cared for, and we felt totally comfortable leaving her with them. We’ll absolutely be using them again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others!”

“Kimberly was a great sitter for my dog, Friday. I was worried about how anxious my dog would get during Halloween, but she made sure he was comfortable and in a quiet space. I really appreciate her updates and the videos of our dogs playing together. Thanks, Kimberly!”

“Yu-shu and family were AMAZING! We got a ton of updates complete with pictures and narratives every day during our vacation, and Leche was always so happy and loved, playing with other people and dogs! It was a wonder how Leche wanted to come back home to us! I hope Leche can stay with your family again, because she loved it, and we had zero worries or concerns about how she was doing. Thank you so much!”

“Shipra and family were awesome with my Shuri during her stay over a recent long weekend. As it was our first time, we did a quick meet and greet, and I could see they really care for the dogs and prioritize their care. Shipra was forthright with questions, accommodating of my timings and requests, and overall a caring host. She sent me regular pics and updates of Shuri having fun with her family and their sweet pupper Shadow. I could relax during my own vacation knowing Shuri was well cared for. And Shuri came home a tired and happy dog. Couldn't ask for more!”

“Susan was our first Rover sitter, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. After meeting a few sitters, our dog immediately connected with Susan—and since Mochi only gives cuddles to very special people, I knew she was the one. We boarded Mochi with Susan for a few nights while we were away, and she was incredibly attentive to her needs. She took her on daily walks, played lots of ball with her—Mochi is a serious ball-aholic—and, most importantly, loved her like her own. She also sent updates and photos, which meant so much to us. At one point, I even joked that she shouldn’t spoil Mochi too much or she’d go into Susan withdrawal when she got home… and honestly, she did the next day! Susan is an absolute gem. We highly recommend her without hesitation and are so grateful she made Mochi’s first Rover stay such a happy and memorable one.”

“Lauren took great care of my sweet old lady pup. She sent pictures and responded promptly if I had questions while away. My pup is blind and needs eyedrops, and I felt secure with Lauren watching her. 5 stars!”

“Lili and Matt were great with my dog Charlie. They sent pictures and happily made the accommodations I had requested. Took him on regular walks to the park. It was nice to be able to trust them with Charlie and not have to worry during our travels. Thank you and we’ll definitely be back!”

“Clara was absolutely wonderful! She was so sweet and communicative throughout the entire stay. I felt completely at ease knowing Mello was in such good hands. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable sitter!”

“Jennifer took great care of Jersey and sent us updates and pictures. Jersey was right at ease during our meet and greet and even more so during his stay. We’d love to book Jennifer for future trips :).”

“We were very grateful to find someone that loves dogs and has a passion for caring for them when their owners need to be away. Our dog was safe & well taken care of. Thank you Monisa & David!”

About: Since the time I had my pet for the last 4 years, I can’t disagree to say I secretly love him more than my daughter😁. They are super cute, notorious, kind with those forgiving eyes. It would be fun to have your fur babies playing in my backyard and staying in our house. My daughter loves dogs, my pet is calm but friendly upon his mood and as a team, my family would love to host your fur babies. I am a software engineer by profession and working remotely. I am full time available at home, when the care is needed for the dogs. I have a playpen along with a large dog crate, if separation is needed. Backyard is fenced and is super secure. My daughter and I will walk the dogs.
“I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Zhengfang! I was initially worried because my pet daisy can be a bit timid and didn't eat for the first few days, but the sitter went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. They even took the extra step of cooking her favorite food to encourage her to eat, which was incredibly thoughtful. I especially appreciated the excellent communication. I received regular hourly and daily updates, including photos videos and details about her walks and overall well-being. It gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It's clear they treat their guests like family. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using their service again!😍”

“Jie (and her family) took wonderful care of our dog Oolong, walking him every day and sending us plenty of pictures! He was clearly well taken care of and loved and we will definitely be coming back!”

“Evelyn was amazing! I was a little nervous leaving Gracie with someone new, but she instantly put my mind at ease. She kept Gracie busy with tons of walks and fun adventures—and the photos she sent showed just how happy and loved Gracie was the whole time! It made my vacation so much more relaxing knowing my pup was in such great hands. I’m so grateful for the care Evelyn gave her & will definitely be using her again!”

“Sameer and his family are awesome. My dog was very happy when we picked him up, he wasn't stressed at all. Highly recommen Sameer as a pet sitter. We will defintely use him again.”
“Max had a wonderful stay - had so much fun with his new doggie friends. We loved all the photos! Only thing is now we think Max just wants to go back! I thought he would be anxious, but no - he loved his time there and we felt relieved he was being well-cared for and having fun. I know we'll be back soon!”

“Kona had a fun time with An and her family! We appreciated the many photos and videos she shared of Kona’s visit. She took good care of Kona. We would absolutely book with An again!”

“Megan was friendly and easy to communicate with. She answered questions we had and made us feel comfortable leaving our baby with her. When we picked up our dog, the dog was happy and relaxed and it seemed like she had a great time with Megan. We would book with Megan again.”

“Our dog Marley’s stay with Maya was great! Maya kept us very well informed and sent lots of pictures. Maya was very accommodating and flexible when our travel plans unexpectedly changed. We will happily leave Marley in Maya’s care again in the future. 😊🐾”

“Christina communicates well setting up and during drop-in visits. I know what is happening in detail. She took good care of my fur babies making sure they had playtime, love and eating well.”

About: I started dogsitting around my neighborhood two years ago and my business has grown very organically since then, with my name spreading from client to client. I have only just decided to get rover to further expand my client base. I now have 13 people who call on me for trusted, in house pet care. As a full time college student, this is the perfect job for me. I have a very pet-sitting friendly schedule. With classes monday-friday 9-1, I have the whole rest of the day to stay in your home and hang out with your pets. I trained my family dog to be a very well behaved, rule following pet, so I know how to handle family pets who are also trained to have certain behaviors. I’m also very active so I will gladly take your dog for a long walk.

About: When I was younger I always thought being a single crazy cat lady was insane until I grew older and realized that is the dream😂 I absolutely adore cats they are definitely my favorite animal in the world. Whether your cat is friendly, shy, or spicy I know how to handle all. My friends call me the cat whisperer whenever we go out and I manage to pet the cat no one can pet. Even though I don’t have my own cat at this moment, I will always treat your cat like my own 😇
“Mitchell did an amazing job taking care of my cats. He is extremely responsible, reliable, and genuinely caring. He followed all feeding instructions carefully, kept everything clean and organized, and made sure my cats were comfortable and well taken care of. He also provided timely updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. My cats can be shy, but they warmed up to him quickly, which really shows his patience and love for animals!”

“Anne went above and beyond for our kitties. She provided detailed updates with photos and made us feel like our babies were safe and in good care. Highly recommended her and will be using her again.”

“Isabel was so dependable in a last minute pinch and took great care of our cat, Gemma. We are looking forward to working with her the next time we go out of town :) Thanks, Isabel!”

“Ping was great with RB. She’s very kind and gentle. Her pup Cherry is also very sweet and well behaved. I think it’s a bonus for RB to have canine company. Ping sent photos, was able to accommodate last minute request and very responsive. Thanks Ping and Cherry!”

“We booked a sitter through Rover for the first time for a long time period and were a little nervous about leaving Missy alone, but Xiaoyu was absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning, she made sure Missy felt comfortable, loved, and well cared for. Xiaoyu followed all the instructions we discussed and truly went above and beyond to make sure Missy didn’t miss us. After just a few visits, it was clear that Missy looked forward to seeing her, which gave us so much peace of mind. I would highly recommend Xiaoyu to anyone looking for a dedicated, trustworthy, and caring sitter—and a true friend—for their fur baby. 🐾💛”

“Darcy was excellent. I appreciated her availability for a meet and greet beforehand, to figure out the details for her stay. She was easy to work with, professional, and clearly has a love for animals. My husband and I were able to sleep easy knowing Darcy was keeping an eye on our cats. We especially appreciated that she was able to hold down the fort when we were unexpectedly without cell service at the event we were attending. She was able to figure things out, and there were zero issues even though I was unable to answer her questions. I would have no hesitation asking Darcy back or recommending her to a friend. Thank you, Darcy!”

“Kim is amazing, her house is beautiful, her two dogs are very well behaved, and I could not be happier with her services! She is very professional (knows a lot about dog training), communicates nicely, and my dog was better behaved when I picked her up than when I dropped her off!”

About: Growing up, I always had a lot of love for animals and had many different pets from fishes, birds, guinea pig, and dogs. I had a toy poodle for 14 years before she passed and growing up as an only child, she was my best friend and more than a dog. Now, although I don’t have any pets of my own (eventually will!) I love taking care of dogs of my friends and family! I started taking care of dogs around the end of my college years and occasionally take dogs in need for care and more. I know a lot of parks around Pleasanton and tri-valley as I grew up here and would love to take your dogs on a walk! I am also available to check in on your fur baby whenever you need me to. I’m currently working part time, and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to give your pets the time, love, and attention they need. I make sure to plan my day around walks, playtime, and check-ins so that your furry friend always feels cared for and never rushed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I create a calm and loving environment, and I’m attentive to each pet’s unique needs and routines. Whether at my home or yours, I make sure they’re safe, happy, and never left unattended for long. I’m comfortable with crates if needed, giving medications, and providing plenty of playtime, cuddles, and walks. You can feel confident knowing your furry friend is in caring, reliable hands.
“Sammy had a great time with Ash! He has separation anxiety so it can be hard for us to feel comfortable leaving him, but Ash took the time to answer all our questions and let us look around at the meet and greet. Sammy was so happy to see her for his first daycare and came back happy and relaxed! We look forward to more visits 💕”

“Absolutely amazing. I needed a last minute sitter for my pup and Fiona and Yuan were nice enough to accept my booking. Got dates throughout the day on how he was doing and when I picked him up he looked like such a happy pup! Rocket had a blast!”

“Susan was wonderful with Charlie! This was our first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous leaving him with someone new, but Susan immediately put us at ease. She is such a sweet and caring person, and Charlie warmed up to her quickly. Susan sent updates and adorable photos throughout the day, took Charlie on walks, gave him lots of attention, and made sure he was safe and comfortable in her home. She was very responsive, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions about Charlie’s routine and preferences. Her calm, loving energy truly stood out❤️ Charlie came home happy and relaxed, and I absolutely trust Susan to watch him again. She is reliable, kind, patient, and cares for pets like family. About: A Housesitter across North America for several years now, I have built a wealth of experience with a variety of animals and homes . I worked as a dog sitter and walker in NYC for five years, raised my own puppy from 8 weeks old. Then traveled to the West, housesitting my way across the country from VA to CA, OR and CO. I provide daily photo and video updates of your pets and can make framed prints available to order. I have had pets in the home since I was a child, including birds and hamsters as well as cats, kittens and dogs. I am currently looking for summer work, having worked as a Ski Instructor all winter in Arapahoe Basin. When housesitting, it is my principal job and priority. I do not currently offer care for a pet in my home, unless of course, they are happy living and traveling in my Class C motorhome.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since I was a child and the love never ceased. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats. I have extensive experience caring for senior pets who might need a bit more attention. I am currently home from UCSC this summer so have very open availability for providing services. Additionally, I have my own vehicle so there are no time constraints in scheduling. I will be able to crate your pets if needed, but if they prefer a cuddle I will happily oblige! Have a pet with lots of energy? We can do long walls or monitored off leash play if that’s what they are used to !
About: I currently focus exclusively on dog walking and bring a calm, safety-first approach to every visit. As a nursing student and part-time consultant, I’m used to following instructions closely, paying attention to small details, and communicating clearly — all of which help me provide dependable, thoughtful care. While I don’t have a dog of my own, I’ve spent plenty of time around dogs through friends and family and genuinely enjoy being around them. I’m mindful of leash control, surroundings, and each dog’s comfort level, and I take the time to learn what works best for every individual dog. I always prioritize meet-and-greets so both you and your dog feel comfortable before we get started. During walks, I keep things structured but relaxed — never rushed — with attention to pacing, safety, and the environment. After each walk, you can expect a clear update so you know how everything went. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your dog is in attentive, responsible hands, and for your dog to enjoy a calm, positive walk every time. I currently work part-time remotely and take most of my classes online, which allows me a flexible schedule to provide reliable dog walks throughout the week. On weekdays, I am available in the mornings and early afternoons, and weekends are fully open, allowing for multiple walks if needed. Because of my flexible routine, I can provide consistent, punctual, and attentive walks, always following the owner’s instructions and making sure each dog gets safe, unrushed time outdoors. I plan my schedule carefully to accommodate both pets and owners, and I always leave buffer time between walks to ensure punctuality and reliability. During every dog walk, I prioritize safety, trust, and a controlled environment. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, keep the dog securely leashed at all times, and stay aware of surroundings, other dogs, and traffic. I pay close attention to each dog’s body language, energy level, and comfort, adjusting the pace and distance accordingly. I also communicate clearly with owners before and after each walk, providing updates or photos so they know their dog is safe and happy. I plan walks with buffer time to avoid rushing, and I make sure the dog’s comfort and well-being are the top priority from start to finish.
“Responsive and reliable. Very easy to communicate with and schedule service. Tom provided photo updates of his walks with my dog and was also kind enough to bring my packages inside. I will definitely use Tom for dog walking again in the future.”

“Mitchell was a superb dog walker for me and my dog, Kygo. He is incredibly professional and clearly has a genuine love for animals. He was always on time, provide updates after each walk (which I really appreciated) and I noticed a difference in Kygos energy levels and overall happiness. He brought treats for Kygo, took pictures, provided updates, overall A+ experience. Thanks Mitchell!”

“Christina spoiled our pooch, taking her on a nice long walk while making time to take breaks in the shade and play. We also got really cute photos from the walk, assuring us our pup was in very good hands.”

About: I’ve taken care of the pups since I was fresh out of college. And have had lovable pooches in my household for as long as I can remember. Very patient individual as I teach middle school students, if that doesn’t set me apart I don’t know what will. It’s summer time so looking for any way to have a proactive summer. And taking care of any pet is just an absolute bonus. I try to create a safe environment for all doggos as they deserve to be treated as one of us. My dogs growing up always had a nice fenced in area as they need to be active.

About: I’ve always had a huge heart for animals since I was a kid. I treat pets as if they were my own and respect their space when needed. I’ve worked with different such as livestock (horses, goats, sheep, cows) and your typical domesticated pet. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, so having the opportunity to watch someone else’s pet brings me tremendous joy. I currently work full time at a vet hospital Tuesday-Saturdays so it is really nice to be able to come home after work to something warm and fluffy. While in a clients home I always check out the home first so I can feel comfortable and see all possible exits. For pets to gain my trust I always let them sniff me first and treat them as if they were mine. I give them space when they need it. I have high respect for an owners home as well and treat it as if it were my home.
About: Hello, my family and I are huge animal lovers. We have been pet sitting for for a little over 3 of years now. We travel for long periods so don't have our own pets. This is why when your pet comes to our house, he/she will get spoiled with attention. We try and keep animals that are smaller than 50-55 lbs so they can enjoy free space in the house. I sometimes work at a school so my weekday calendar is usually blocked . Dogs will get lots of exercise when they're with us. about every 2 hours. They are allowed up on the sofa so come cuddle with us. Looking forward to meeting your fur family. I work at a school part time. So daytime usually they will hang out with my husband who works from home. Then afternoon onwards, myself and my two extremely gentle and sweet teen kids will be home to give the pet our undecided attention. Our house is fully fenced all around and pets will always be inside the house unless they want to sun bathe in the back yard.

I have a 10 year old Golden Retriever who gets along well with all breeds and is very mellow.
About: I have owned dogs since I was 10 years old and cats since the mid 1970's. I have cared for, fed, walked, played with not only my own, but for friends and neighbors as well. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to walk and care for your pets. Mid-mornings to early afternoons some days, all day on other days. I am currently not available to care for your pets in my home due to having 3 dogs and 2 cats already. Anything can change in the future though.

“Lauren took great care of my sweet old lady pup. She sent pictures and responded promptly if I had questions while away. My pup is blind and needs eyedrops, and I felt secure with Lauren watching her. 5 stars!”

“We were very grateful to find someone that loves dogs and has a passion for caring for them when their owners need to be away. Our dog was safe & well taken care of. Thank you Monisa & David!”

“Svetlana took great care of my dog Louise! She sent daily updates and was very flexible with pickup and drop-off times, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely book with her again for future boarding.”

“Great communication. Our dogs did really well with them. One of our dogs unexpectedly hurt his back a few days before our boarding. We were happy to find his condition actually improved after boarding with them. We’re relieved they seemed well taken care of. Will definitely use Rachel and Jason again.”

“This was Wonder’s second stay, and she was happy to see Alyssa and Buster again! She seemed to have had a good time. Alyssa was flexible on drop-off and pickup times when our plans changed. Thanks!”

“Jita and her husband were great with our German shepherd/ husky mix Ellie. She was very communicative with lots of pictures and updates and Ellie had the best time. She managed the meet and greet with her dog very well and Ellie made a friend and had a great time playing with Thunder. Highly recommend”

“Robert was awesome and we are really grateful that he was able to accommodate Neo for his first time ever overnight stay. Robert took Neo on long walks and sent us lots of pictures and videos of him playing, eating and sleeping which was helpful to manage our separation anxiety. Will definitely book again.”

“I am very happy with the choice I made by having Linh watch my dog, Sabaka. It's hard finding the right sitter who can actually handle and take care of him. He requires a lot of attention and a lot of walks! Linh and her husband made sure to accommodate all of his needs! When I went to pick him up, Linh's husband brought him out. As soon as we left, Sabaka began crying because he was already missing him. I highly recommend booking your dog's vacation with Linh. It will be the ultimate "vacation" for your dog. You will see... Linh constantly updated me with information, sent me pictures and video footage of Sabaka. He went on so many walks and to the dog park all in just 2 days. I'm sure Sabaka can't wait to see them again!”

“The family clearly loves dogs and their dog Prince is true to his name. He buddied up with our lab so quickly at the meet and greet and they played the entire time. Our dog was so excited to visit after that one meeting. It’s clear they have been doing this a long time and we will definitely be going back !”

“Such a sweet person!! Carolyn went above and beyond to help us with our Sadie - she was our flower girl at our wedding and Carolyn was willing to come to the venue and get Sadie after our ceremony. She’s got a golden heart for animals! Thank you so much!!!”
