After meeting a few sitters, our dog immediately connected with Susan—and since Mochi only gives cuddles to very special people, I knew she was the one. We boarded Mochi with Susan for a few nights while we were away, and she was incredibly attentive to her needs. She took her on daily walks, played lots of ball with her—Mochi is a serious ball-aholic—and, most importantly, loved her like her own. She also sent updates and photos, which meant so much to us. About: I am a longtime admirer of all cats- fractious, fearful, feral or friendly. My first foray into taking care of cats was when I began living with a family member who had a very grouchy tabby named Milo. He was particular, spicy, and a biter. I learned a lot from Milo about respecting and admiring the autonomy of cats, and he is the reason behind my fondness and patience for more "challenging" cats. I have volunteered at a cat rescue called Cat Town for 5 years, and I also have 3 of my own cats- one spicy, one shy, and one extremely friendly cat. We have become small dog specialists & only care for the smaller ones. Senior care is no problem. We have a lot of experience with older dogs of our own & Rover parents trusting us with their care. We have a soft spot in our hearts for dogs & treat them like family. We look forward to giving you updates through pictures and texts while you’re away. Our time is devoted to making your dogs stay the best experience possible. We love cuddles or if they are independent, that’s ok too! Toy time is always fun. Walks along the lovely trail near our home are included, if you choose? Frequent potty breaks are offered all day. Relax knowing how secure our backyard is. There are trees for shade & many places for sun as well. We have hardwood flooring & several dog beds for comfort.
About: Dogs have been an important part of my life since I got a Border Collie at age 10. Even before then I would look forward to taking care of neighbor's pets to save money to buy a dog. “Svetlana clearly loves cats and has a spacious apartment that’s great for them to explore. While it could help if they have a few more designated hiding spots, she was thoughtful in helping my cat settle in by finding a cozy spot in her closet, which my cat seems to really enjoy. She was great about sending videos in the first few days, I’d love to see more regular updates throughout the stay, which could make the experience even better. I also really appreciated how she worked with me to stay within my budget. Overall, I’m happy with her care and will definitely use her services again!”
