It’s Makana’s first time to socialize with 2 dogs since she turned 2 yrs old due to some health issues when she’s a pup. We thought it’s time for her to explore and find out if she is well adjusted now that she’s an adult.She is as expected to be a little shy but was able to adapt and became comfortable. She is tired and pretty happy bec she had a play date with Zuri ( the host’s furbaby) and another furbaby. About: I have always had dogs growing up and frequently took charge of their needs as their primary caregiver, scheduling vet visits, feeding, bathing, & walking our dogs. I started working as a dog bather in January 2022 and even though (as of a few months ago) I have since transitioned careers I still miss working with dogs (also cats and rabbits) and interacting with them on a daily basis. I am a proven gentle handler with a knack for big and small dogs as well as cats and rabbits. I was formally a dog bather but I frequently assisted the groomers in handling the other animals like cats, rabbits, and Guinea pigs during shave downs and haircuts. I have learned so much about handling and husbandry from experienced groomers who supervised me in the salon and almost became a groomer myself. I love animals and I love working with them. I was known to be the bather that took on the large and difficult dogs due to my ability to handle them tenderly and with immense patience. Some of the favorite animals I miss from work are Charlotte and Maggie, the two Rottweilers who were so bad that the groomer used the be the only one who could do them and only with the muzzle on. I was able to not only fully bathe and dry them with a double motor blow dryer, but I was also able to eventually transition them off the muzzle with kind words and encouragement to the sweet girls. I also greatly miss the darling puppy Karlotta who I bathed every time she had come in since her very first bath. She was very nervous at first but soon started walking in like she owned the place. That is the main reason I want to work with animals again, to be able to say that I helped a dog or animal in some way without having to use aggression, dominance, or force. Currently, I am working a full-time job, from 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday. If the animal is in my home for boarding or day care I can provide walks on my breaks and lunch since I work from home. I have a 5 year old Siberian Husky in my home who is in crate trained and who loves other dogs. The introductions between pets would be slow with safety being the paramount factor. She would be in the crate in the living room when unsupervised and the pet would stay in my room if a client needed me to provide care for them in my home. I have a force-free handling philosophy.

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and caring for them is something I'm truly passionate about. To me, pets aren't just pets; they're family. I'm a lifelong pet owner and currently have two girl dogs, a Yorkie-Terrier-Chihuahua and a Yorkie-Shih Tzu, along with three boy cats: one gray-and-black tabby and two orange tabbies. I've also spent the past 2 years pet-sitting for friends and family, caring for their pets as I would my own. I've had hands-on experience caring for pets with medical needs, including administering insulin injections to my diabetic, senior Bichon-Poodle and providing medication to my rescued shelter cats for various conditions, including urinary infections, conjunctivitis, and parasites. About: I've had pets almost my entire life. I grew up with a household of shiba inus that had multiple litters, so I was exposed to puppies at a young age. When I started living on my own, I had my own dog that I adopted at 6 months old and my beautiful furry companion passed at 15 years old. I've also had numerous cats and can attest to how each animal having distinct personalities. I currently have a dog and two cats that get along and I understand how valuable and important finding the right person to care of your fur babies is. I'm on a hybrid schedule and can drop in to care for your pet(s), feed them, take them for a walk or just simply be there to give them some attention. When I care for my friend's/client's pets, they get the some attention as my pets do. I ensure that their bowls are clean, water is refreshed and they get play time or just simple petting and attention.
About: Nothing has moved me more than helping people. I’ve always said to myself if I can, I will. I have 5 dogs myself, 4 Yorkies and 1 German Shepherd. I will admit it’s not the smoothest, but I remind myself how much of a blessing pets can be in our life, and the unconditional love they give that should be reciprocated. With the amount of pets I have in my house, I have been able to figure out and create a safe space for them, body language speaks volumes! In addition to that, understanding and respecting a dogs boundaries is very crucial to building trust, on top of them associating being fed and attended to with me. When it comes to homes, I want to be as flexible as possible when it comes to accommodations, housekeeping, etc. since your space deserves to be cared for how you feel is best!
About: I've been caring for pets for years through my own fur babies (6 year English Bull Dog named Maya and previously a 10 year old boxer named Sugar), as well as helping my friends and family with their fur babies while they're away or helping with walks. About: Hi! I'm Kiana, and I have many years of experience with all kinds of pets, both under my own roof and within others' homes. I have owned and loved pets of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and various personalities. I find so much joy in getting to know pets, as they typically reflect their humans- and I'm willing to serve their needs in any way. Ultimately, I'm fully committed to keeping your pet safe, secure, and making sure that they're loved! I'm currently a student on summer break, and I'm searching for a part-time job at the moment. With that being said, I currently have plenty of availability throughout the week. I'm available 8am - 8pm during weekdays and Saturdays, and on Sundays I'm available after 2pm. During times that I am working, though, I typically come early in the morning (or wake up early if I'm already at a client's house), care for the pet(s), go to work, and then come back either during lunch time or at the end of my shift. It all honestly depends on the pets and their needs, but I am completely flexible! When I go to a client's home, I take extra care to respect their property and only go into delegated areas. My job is to care for the pet and maintain the homeowner's trust, so if a mess is made or an accident happens, I go the extra mile to inform the client immediately and take care of it as soon as possible. I want to make sure your pet feels loved and safe, especially within their own home. About: I regularly dog-sit for family friends ranging from small, medium, and large dogs (most experience with Chihuahuas, Terriers, Shih Tzus, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, and Spaniels)! My two cats are strictly indoor only, with occasional supervised and harnessed walks/exploration time outside, which helped me become very attentive. About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and all ages! I have some experience taking care of puppies/younger dogs. I’ll be your pets good friend :) I’m on summer break from university right now, but once I get started in classes again my availability is limited to the weekends. “The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home.
