I work remotely; therefore, I am home much of the week during the day and I can provide several walks throughout the day for your pup My apartment has an open floor plan which allows your pup to roam around freely. Just outside of the apartment doorsteps is a running/walking trail which is where your pup will receive much of their walks during the weekday. There are also four public parks and a dog park three miles from the apartment where your pup and I will spend much of the time. If your pup prefers walking by the ocean, Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, and Pacific Beach are only a 15-20-minute drive away.

About: I'm the proud parent of a 5y/o high-energy labradoodle (Lenny), and our routine of three walks every day means I understand exactly what dogs need to feel calm, stimulated, and happy. I know how to read a dog's energy, when to up the pace, when to slow down and let them sniff, and when they just need to decompress at their own pace. Before getting my own dog, I spent months researching dog behavior, needs, and communication. I've also worked with a professional dog trainer to understand how to lead a dog confidently and calmly, skills I bring to every walk! Over the years, I've cared for a variety of different dogs for friends, neighbors, and coworkers, so I know how to adapt to different personalities, sizes, and temperaments. I'm happy to be flexible based on the time of day and length of walk your pup needs..I already walk my own dog three times a day, so adding walks for your pup fits naturally into my routine. I keep my schedule intentional, I won't overbook, so your dog always gets my full attention. Your dog's safety is my first priority. I've worked with a trainer to understand leash handling, body language cues, and how to respond calmly in unexpected situations. I always use secure equipment and won't walk more than one unfamiliar dog at a time without discussing it with you first. I treat every dog like a family member. I'm consistent, communicative, and genuinely invested in your dog's wellbeing and happiness!
About: I have had a family dog my whole life. My current pup is a 2year old mini goldendoodle that is about 25lbs. He is high energy and loves play time, long walks and going to the dog park. I work remote full time so I am home with my dog the majority of my day. Any pet in my care would get the same treatment as my own. Multiple walks, a trip to the park and of course regular feedings. My pet is free to roam my apartment, I have a balcony that he also has free access to during the day. I keep the door open for him.

About: Greetings, I am Ellen (and Zopa), your trusted and experienced dog sitter. Warning: Your dog will be spoilt with kisses, walks and snooggles! My husband and I grew up with dogs all our lives and have taken care of pups ranges from 2 months to 16 years old. I work from home full time so I will be home with your fur bebe during the day as well. We have a fur bebe of our own, Zopa, 9 yo gentle Lab Mix and he is both people and dog-friendly; except for unneutered male pups (sorry, we tried with a meet up, and no go with the Zopa) Zopa is not possessive with his toys; so our doggo toy box is available for your pup as well. We have a large fenced backyard overlooking a canyon; this is where Zopa normally sunbathe and nap during the day or stretch his legs in between naps, snacks and walk breaks. During hot days, air conditioning is available and usually on. (Our late bulldog used to cycle between the AC and covered backyard area in the summer 🥰) We do not discriminate against any dog breed although I require a meet-up prior to booking to ensure everything is good with Zopa, your pup, us and so that you feel more comfortable trusting your fur bebe with us. Nothing make me happier but to give your dog a comfortable stay - a home away from home with loads of love, kisses and pampering while keeping them safe so you can focus on your trip. WFH Full Time - Flexible Schedule I work from home full time. I’m flexible with your pet needs, such as feeding time, walk schedules, heat sensitivity, food allergy, etc. I’ll update you with pics and/or videos as often as you would like; usually around 3 times per day on average. (Including tagging you or your fur baby’s ig account 😊) Weekday Routine Neighborhood walks or park trips 2 times a day are Zopa’s jam; once in the AM and once in the PM. We are early risers especially on weekdays - Zopa and I usually complete our morning rituals including breffast and AM neighborhood walk by 7:30-8 AM. In the summer, early walks will commence to avoid heat and PM walk is usually a little later depending on temperature of the day. (dogs can burn their paws on hot surfaces e.g. asphalt) Our backyard access is available at all times from inside the house so the pups can choose whether to chill inside or outside. Weekend Routine I usually take Zopa for a longer walk, for a chill hike, or dog park fun times in the weekend. (Balboa park, Grape Street Park, Civita Park are some of the parks we normally frequent) Sometimes, Zopa is out shopping with me (Nordstrom sales people are his besties), or to dog-friendly restaurant / breweries around San Diego as well. We usually end the night with chill time in our backyard. Your fur baby will be like my fur baby as well with access to fully fenced backyard, a furry super chill brother, plus safe and fun home 🏠. I prefer boarding in my own home. If your fur baby has heat sensitivity (e.g. bulldogs, Samoyed, husky) we turn on our air conditioner and fans when it’s hot. Let us know what your fur Bebe’s fave things are and their routine; we can adjust accordingly.
