“Lori watched our dog Hana for four nights and we couldn’t be more pleased. Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”

“Verle and Kaitlin were great with my pup! They sent so many cute pics and daily updates and helped put me at ease knowing she was in good hands. Would definitely recommend and will rebook the next time we’re in need. Great communication and wonderful sitters!”

“Vipulkumar was incredibly sweet and genuinely loves dogs. Very easygoing and comfortable around Mishmish, which put us at ease right away. Highly flexible with timing and requests, and he sent numerous cute videos of Mishmish, which we really appreciated. Clear communicator and reliable pet caregiver. We will definitely be back again!”

“Mark and his son were really awesome with our dog, Thor. We booked a 10 day stay, and Mark provided consistent updates on how Thor was doing. They walked him regularly and played with him often, and they have a great home with a back yard Thor could enjoy. I felt comfortable and confident leaving my fur baby with them!”

“Mabel loved her time at Araceli’s! Araceli was very warm and welcoming to us humans, but to Mabel she was a dog’s dream host. There are toys, stuffies and balls galore. Mabel absolutely felt at home the second we walked in. Mabel was allowed to get on the couch and Araceli didn’t mind when water dripped off her mouth after drinking water. We knew immediately that Mabel would be in great hands and she was. We were happy to receive pictures and even a video of Mabel having fun. We will definitely use Araceli again. I know Mabel will be excited.”

“Damariz was amazing with our 4 month old pup. Our little one is still too young to be spayed and Damariz took extra measures to make sure she was safe, took her to doggie parks and out for walks, and kept us very well informed of their day to day. We felt very comfortable leaving our pup in Damariz’s care. Thank you!”

“Ms. Pilar was beyond exceptional I really loved how she cared for my 2 dogs I came back a little later than I wanted to but she was very understanding about the situation. I received messages every day from her as well as photos of the dogs. She took them on lots of walks and provided love and care for them as they were her very own. I recommend her Kai is a lot more calmer since he has been home. I recommend Ms. Pilar to everyone she is the best and has a true love for the dogs in her care. Thanks Ms. Pilar we appreciate you Prince and Kai Miss you as well.”

“if you were looking for someone to care for your furry, loved one and keep you posted on how they’re doing. Siera is the best . she took time to really get to know Enzo, and give him the special attention he needed. I would use her and recommend her to anybody who loves their pet. she will care for him and keep your mind at ease.”

“Jermere & Janetta were absolutely awesome to work with. My dogs had such a good time. From the beginning to end, their communication was stellar and very helpful especially for our senior dog. Thank you again J & J!”

“This was our second time leaving our dog when we had to go out of town and our second time using Raquel’s services. She did amazing with Everest and he seems happy and healthy. She gave us daily pictures and notes on how he was doing. Our flight had gotten canceled at the end of our trip and we had to drive from Virginia back to San Diego and Raquel helped us instantly and kept Everest for a couple extra days so we could make it back home. If you need to board your dog I definitely recommend Raquel!”

“Highly recommend Trent! He recently took care of my dog, Momo, and did an incredible job. I was so grateful for his communication he constantly kept us updated and sent plenty of photos, so we knew Momo was in great hands and having a good time. Trent is reliable, caring, and professional. We will absolutely be booking with him again! When we are back in San Diego!”

She was great about providing us photos, videos, and updates about our sweet girl. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again for our pet sitting needs.”

“Natalee was an amazing sitter for our little guy Luffy! She is super sweet and kept great communication throughout his stay, making sure to share some adorable photos of their weekend adventures together :) Luffy seemed to have a great time and was even excited to see Natalee again upon dropping him off. We highly recommend Natalee to take care of your pups and look forward to having a safe space for Luffy to stay for future vacations!”

“Gwen has helped us with our senior dog and is now helping us with our new puppy. She always takes good care of our dogs and they get excited when it’s time to visit again.”

“Wonderful experience! Alexis did an amazing job caring for my husky, Ghost, who can be a bit difficult at times. She truly knew how to meet his needs, and I could tell he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. Ghost came home happy, full of energy, and clearly loved his time with her. Alexis was also incredibly responsive with my last minute booking request, and communication was excellent throughout the entire 5 day boarding. I would absolutely recommend her and will be booking again!”

“Wow! Emily is the best sitter I’ve had in a long time. I booked her for a long visit, and was so nervous to be away from my cat. But Emily gave me reassurances by sending me photos and updates on my cats behavior. It’s a really good sign that my shy but loving kitty warmed up to her so quickly, and was even waiting for her by the window on their last visit! Emily also took care of my plants, which was so essential too. I would 10/10 hire her for your pet sitting needs, I will surely be doing the same next time I need a sitter ❤️”

About: Cats have always been a big part of my life—I’ve had them since I was young and truly understand their unique personalities and needs. In addition to being a lifelong cat owner, I have experience fostering kittens, where I helped provide a safe, nurturing environment during their earliest and most important stages of development. I’ve also spent time working with cats in a shelter environment, where I helped socialize cats with a wide range of temperaments—from shy and fearful to playful and outgoing. This experience has taught me how to read feline body language, respect their boundaries, and help them feel comfortable and secure in new situations. Whether your cat is energetic and curious, quiet and independent, or needs a little extra patience and reassurance, I aim to provide thoughtful, compassionate care tailored to their individual personality. My goal is always to help cats feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I provide drop-in care for cats, including feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and general check-ins to make sure they are safe while you are away. While I have not owned cats myself, I have experience caring for cats through drop-in visits for friends and family. I understand that every cat has their own personality and comfort level, so I always take a calm and patient approach, allowing them to warm up at their own pace. I focus on making sure they are well cared for and that their routine stays consistent while you’re gone. 💗🐾
“Joanne is an angel! I’ve met with her before her pet drop ins started and felt immediately at ease- like we’ve known each other for a long time. My pup, Haku adored her! Joanne took good care of him when we’re away and communicates everything with me. She carefully follows instructions and did everything as told with respect! I would definitely book with her service again! She deserves more than 5 stars. Joanne, please stay nearby and keep in touch!!!”

“DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK! This is Terry and I’s 2nd time working with Janetta and I literally have no complaints. My favorite part of working with Janetta is the fact she cares for my son as if he was hers. Her communication….chefs kiss! She is very punctual and respectful of my home as well. She truly goes above and beyond of the tasks asked of her, and we couldn't be more grateful to have the ability to book with a sitter like her!”

“Janet was great, she watched my dog and cat for a long weekend. She fed them, walked them, distributed vitamins, and was very responsive and communicative. Everything was in great shape when I returned. Will be hiring again. Thanks Janet!”

About: I owned two cats — a girl and a boy, although very briefly when I was 13 and it lasted a year. I loved how regal they were, and how trusting, kind, soft they were once you got to know them. At first, they were really timid beings that would run from everyone in my family, with the one and only exception being when they heard their metal food bowls clank down full. It took them about two weeks of analyzing our schedules to slowly open themselves up to us and allow us to be around them, pet them, show them love. I would give them small sniff tests here and there to test their readiness level, and they became acclimated to me quicker than anyone else for that reason. Our family had to give them back after one year because the family who gave them to us moved back here from out of state and wanted to have their cats back. Aside from owning cats, I started being around cats from when I was 10 until I turned 15 because I had friends that owned cats — an older cat (21 years old) and a kitten (8 months when I first met her). I would take care of those two cats whenever I would sleep over at their place, feed them and give them water periodically. I love being around cats!
“Kalista took such good care of our two cats! We felt confident leaving our senior boys with minor health issues in her care. She was so patient with them and everything was clean and organized when we returned. Overall great experience, wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you Ana for taking care of my boys during the busy holiday weekend. I appreciate that you were able to step up and cover an extra day when my flight was canceled as part of the Southwest meltdown.”

I started in general practiced then switched to specialty and worked in Neurology, Emergency, and ICU. So if you have a special needs pup I can help! “Gao was an amazing fit for my need(s) for BearBear. Reading her profile was the main reason I selected her. She was very knowledgeable, passionate, and handled BearBear with the care he needed; above and beyond (medicine doses, nail trim, etc.). Her communication, availability and empathy was exactly what I needed. Thank you!”

About: As a full-time retired “dog grandpa,” I’ve spent over 50 years caring for dogs of every shape, size, and personality. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me for decades to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pups just like my own. I currently share my home with a friendly spaniel mix who loves making new friends and helps create a warm, social atmosphere for visiting dogs. I’m patient, attentive, and happiest when I’m surrounded by wagging tails. From energetic youngsters to sweet seniors, I know how to keep each dog comfortable, confident, and cared for. Now that I’m fully retired, caring for pets has become one of the most enjoyable parts of my day. I’m home most of the time, which means your pet gets plenty of attention, frequent potty breaks, and peaceful company throughout the day. I’m available on weekends and most weekdays, and my open schedule allows me to keep your pet’s routine steady morning strolls, afternoon cuddles, or extra playtime, whatever they need. My home is set up with pets in mind. I have a secure fenced backyard with a large pet door so dogs can safely go in and out for fresh air and play. My spaniel mix is friendly and loves having canine company. We take daily walks to nearby parks, perfect for sniffing, exploring, and stretching those legs. Inside the house, pets are welcome to relax wherever they feel comfortable and yes, that includes the furniture. I provide a calm, supervised, and cozy environment, and I’m experienced with crates, medications, special diets, and supporting dogs with different energy levels or routines. Your dog will be treated like a cherished family member with all the gentle attention, structure, and warmth you’d expect from a loving retired grandpa.
“This is the most welcoming and joyful home. One of the highlights is that my pup gets to play in secret paradise. You’ll understand if you book. I hope to reconnect with them soon. It’s so rare when the space and the family are absolute treasures.”

I have hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, including emergency care and working alongside veterinarians, and I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. With my background, I can also provide informed medical guidance when needed. I’m especially a great fit if your dog needs extra care—such as medical support or recovery monitoring. My goal is to keep your dog safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. As a full-time student, I work around my class schedule and maintain a high level of flexibility. My only fixed commitments are my lab sessions, but outside of those times, I can adjust my availability to fit your needs, including early mornings, evenings, and most daytime hours. I have professional experience handling high-drive even dangerous animals, including wolfdogs and wildlife. I know how to manage strong breeds safely and calmly. I respect your home and property. I use professional handling techniques to ensure safety during walks, and I am fully capable of providing basic medical care and behavioral support if any issues arise during my stay."
“Pamela is a very sweet lady:) she took our Nova for a day and when we got there she slowly introduced her to the other dogs before letting her run. She is very cautious and handles the dogs very well. I would definitely recommend her services to others.”

About: My senior dog was my very best friend and companion. I adopted him when my cousin wasn't able to care for him anymore. He passed away last May at the age of 14 after battling ongoing diseases/old age. We walked every day and he also had a big fenced garden to play in. I will make sure your dog has all the attention they need, plenty of restroom breaks, and their daily walks. I will treat them as my own furry friend. I am a stay at home mom and am available throughout the day to ensure they receive the attention they need. I am able to give your dog their daily routine, potty breaks, feeding times, and walks/playtime/exercise as needed. I will care for them as my own and make sure they feel at home. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of grass to play in. I have a 4 year old who is very good with animals because he grew up with my senior dog when he was born. I have doggy beds/couches for your dog to sit/sleep on. I no longer have my senior dog with me so it will be just me and my 4 year old. I am available at all times of the day since I stay at home and can monitor your companion.
“Demetria was great! Was available on a short notice. She sent pictures and updates which I really appreciated. Thank you Demetria will definitely book again. 😊”

“This was the best experience by far! They not only watched our pup, giving us peace of mind while we went out, but they also worked with him. We had the meet-up and they have such patience and understanding and it also shows in their dog Enzo. We also got several updates and pictures. it's hard leaving a pet, especially one that needs a little extra care and we felt completely at ease. We will definitely come back and recommend them everytime!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and small animals like bunnies and guinea pigs. 🐶🐱🦎My family and I have raised multiple puppies and cared for seniors, so I understand the patience, consistency, and attention they need. I currently have a puppy of my own, so I’m actively working on potty training and basic obedience. I’ve provided pet care for friends and family including dog walks, drop-in visits, and spending quality/play time with pets. I treat every animal like my own and would be happy to send updates/photos so you always know how your pet is doing. 💗 I’m a military spouse who moved to San Diego about a year ago. Since I’m not working another job, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m unavailable most Thursdays and Fridays however, I’m open and able to accommodate care and scheduling needs. I provide care in your home and make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and well looked after while you’re away. I give them plenty of attention and keep their environment clean and safe.

About: In total I’ve had 5 dogs in my lifetime, dating far back to when I was a baby! Dogs of many sizes and kinds of dogs from small to big, a labrador rottweiler mix, bichon frise and the rest being rat terriers. So from about the time I was born until I was 13 (I am now 20), I owned 5 dogs :). I loved being able to walk my dogs, taking them to parks, just being in their company really. I look after my friends’ dogs on occasion as well as my relative’s when they’re busy and decided that I would love to make it into a career. I don’t have a job, and I’m a student at Southwestern, I was full time last semester but the semester ended just last week. I will be fully free for the next two weeks with the exception of Friday’s from 6pm-11pm (can be negotiated if need be!). I’m open every week day and every day of weekend, willing to work anywhere from 8am until about 5pm. I will be taking one class in the summer, ballet (dance), that begins June 15th, ends August 8th and runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:25am to 11:25 AM for all three days. I would not be allowed to host any pet in my house as we have two babies in the house and we’re not fully aware of their allergies yet, however, it would be best for me to do drop ins or house sitting sessions for that reason. I think doing a meet and greet beforehand would be amazing so that we could have a chance to meet each other first and maybe introduce me to your pet to see if I could be a good match to sit for them instead of blindly throwing me with them!
“I am so grateful to Monique, she did such a great job helping to take care of our Yoyo while we were out of town. My dog is not always easy but took right to Monique. She kept me updated and sent me photos. Especially when you are out of town it is so important to know someone is taking such good care of your pet. I will definitely be reaching out to Monique again and appreciate her so much.”
“Savannah is so kind and attentive when she takes Tubby on his walks. Offers to feed him if I’m going to be running late and super communicative. She provides photos and updates. Tubby is always happy to see her and our family truly appreciates her help! ☺️”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I share my life with Dulce, my playful and well-socialized 1.5-year-old pup who is spayed and fully up to date on all core vaccinations. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and accompanies me during full-day and overnight stays in San Diego. Because Dulce joins me, I accept bookings with dogs who are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. Many pups enjoy the added companionship, but I’m always attentive to each dog’s individual comfort level. I’m happy to thoughtfully socialize them or keep them separated as needed to ensure safety and peace of mind. Your pet will always receive attentive, loving care tailored to their routine and personality. I welcome dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Your pet’s routine is my top priority. I follow feeding, walking, and play schedules as you outline, with plenty of attention and breaks for rest. For full-day or overnight stays, I’m present and engaged the entire time, ensuring consistency and care throughout the day. Safety comes first. Dulce and I maintain a calm, controlled environment, and I supervise all interactions between pets. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I can adapt to your pet’s comfort level—whether that means gentle socialization or separate spaces. Your home and your pet’s belongings are treated with the utmost respect.

About: I’ve lived on a farm since I was 11. I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies along with many other animals. I raised multiple litters of newborn puppies and their mothers. I’ve cared for them in many ways. I’ve also worked at a doggy day care and boarding facility and have experience with taking care of many dogs of different sizes and ages. I’m walking dogs and doing dog sitting as a side job now while I attend school. I assure you I have plenty of experience taking care of these wonderful fur babies. I’m currently going to school. I take night classes and need something that is flexible with my schedule. I already walk dogs and do dog sitting through another app called wag. It’s perfect for me cause I can focus on school without being worried about being tied down to a schedule since I’m able to make my own schedule. I also need more services so I thought doing 2 apps at a time might bring more income. I let them out every 2-4 hours to go potty or as needed or instructed my owner. I feed them based off their eating schedule and how many time a day they eat. I take them out for walks and to play with them outside frequently. If the parent need me to do anything else for their pups I’m more than happy to do so.

“This was our second time leaving our dog when we had to go out of town and our second time using Raquel’s services. She did amazing with Everest and he seems happy and healthy. She gave us daily pictures and notes on how he was doing. If you need to board your dog I definitely recommend Raquel!”
