“We had a wonderful experience with Martha May while she boarded our dog, Loki. From the moment we connected, Martha was caring, kind, and incredibly communicative throughout his stay. She provided regular updates and thoughtful feedback, which gave us peace of mind and helped us better understand Loki's needs for future boarding visits. It was clear that Martha May genuinely cared about Loki's comfort and well-being, and he was well cared for during his time with her. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to share helpful observations made the experience exceptional. I highly recommend Martha May to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter. We would be happy to book with her again in the future!”

She frequently sent pictures and messages letting me know how Chance was doing, which was very comforting. I would absolutely recommend her services to everyone! Thank you, Nathaly!!”

She shared videos and kept us very informed which helped us extremely so we could enjoy our vacation. We are very glad we found her and know we can take future vacations with our boy being in good hands. Great Job Reginay!!!”

“Grisel kept us updated daily with Avery’s status along with pictures and videos. She even reached out when Avery was having anxiety from fireworks noise to find out what we do to help her, and offering some suggestions. Avery really enjoyed playing with Grisel’s dog Palermo. We will definitely use Grisel in the future.”

“Danielle was a fantastic host. She is a good communicator, very accommodating and overall just a delightful person. Cersei felt 100% comfortable staying with Danielle and had fun playing with her own pups as well.”

“Absolutely amazing! She took great care of our pup and sent pics of him playing and having a good time. She played a lot with him and made sure he had a great stay”

“Bari is the best! She is the only person who’s been able to keep our skittish dog calm and happy when we are gone. It gives us such peace of mind knowing he’s being loved and spoiled while we are gone! Thank you Bari!”

“Excellent dog sitter!! Asked more questions and was more intuitive than most sitters. Frenchies have a tendency to not tolerate the heat very well and Hana walked Bleu before it got hot outside, which means 5:30-6am range. So sweet! Plus Bleu loves her!”
“My regular sitter had to back out at the last minute and I was stressing out, but I'm very grateful to Marc and Rachael for accepting my 3 fur kids at the last minute. They sent me updates and pictures everyday, and I could tell that my dogs were very well cared for. Their house was a great environment for my doggies, and they did a great job with dogsitting them for a whole week. Highly recommended!”

“Jared is a blessing! He made himself available for a meet & greet and instantly made us feel comfortable with leaving Zuko there. Jared was always quick to respond and sent daily pictures of our boy. It’s safe to say Zuko absolutely loved his stay! Will definitely be booking with Jared again! ☺️”

“Thank you so much for such wonderful care for our Miss Appa! It was so nice to relax at our out-of-town event and see the pics/videos of her getting walks and play times. And that was so nice of you to sleep down on the couch with her. She is a lucky dog!”

“Alexandra watched our 9 month old puppy over a long weekend. She was very professional, knowledgeable about dogs, and did a great job taking care of our puppy and providing us pictures/updates about him. Would highly recommend her as a sitter!!”

“Always available and communicative during the stay. He is consistent with sending photo updates and meeting food/medication needs. His elder pup is super patient and kind as well, and a great example for socializing.”

“Doh was an absolute lifesaver taking care of Dodger last minute. She was very responsive, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease during his stay. This was Dodger’s first time boarding overnight with someone else, and she did an amazing job keeping me updated with pictures and messages letting me know how he was doing. I truly appreciated her communication and care, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“Sade was great, Rickie Boobie is a handful with tons of puppy energy, she connected with him right away, let him get acclimated. Everyday she sent me pictures and text reassuring me he was being a good boy . It was our first time and I am grateful for Sade, her husband and son for making Rickie Boobie welcome and loved. We will be contacting Sade again very soon.”

“Becky was so thoughtful and attentive to our pup. Making sure he took medication multiple times per day, sharing updates, and making him feel at home for a weekend boarding. Would be honored to have her watch our boy again!”

“Jessica was absolutely amazing and so attentive when stopping by! She came by for a meet and greet and I could tell right away she could get along with any animal & human, very sweet person! My cat Percy loved her and I could tell when I got home that he had been extremely well taken care of. She wrote very nice & long reviews each visit which when on vacation I absolutely LOVE !! Thank you Jessica!”

About: I have a 9 year old cat of my own, adopted her when she was a kitten! Throughout the years I have also taken care of the family pets (two cats and one dog). I love going for walks and I would often have our family dog tag along. I have experience in given oral medication to cats + following a medication/feeding schedule. I’m currently working full time, Monday-Friday, I’m available to care/walk cats or dogs in the evening during the week or any time during the weekend. I provide a loving environment to any animal I come across. I want them to feel safe and comfortable enough to trust that they know I am a friend!

About: I’ve taken care of my friend’s cats for years. I’ve taken care of cats that needed medicine, from pills to ear drops. I’m also down to just pet and hang. Whatever your cat needs.
“Katherine was fantastic! She was very easy to communicate and work with, and she set me totally at ease about my cat's wellbeing. She provided lots of good pictures and was attentive to my cat's needs.”

“Scott was very helpful, friendly and was amazing with my two cats! If only I could give 10+ stars! Definitely will be scheduling future appts with him. Thanks again for helping me out!”

“Outstanding pet sitters! They went above and beyond to care for my cats—ensuring fresh food and water, clean litter, and a clean environment. They gave the beasts plenty of love, attention, and brushing. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets.”

“This was my first time booking with Sarah since Peach’s usual sitters were away. Everything from the meet and greet to the final check-in went well. I’d trust Sarah with Peach again. Thanks again!”

“Aimee was wonderful! She cared for mine and my husband’s two cats while we were away. One of our cats is known for not being so friendly towards strangers, but she took to Aimee right away, which gave me a lot of reassurance. She provided excellent care for our cats and I hope she is available again next time we need a sitter.”

About: I have taken care of cats for family, friends and neighbors. When I moved to California from New York City, through the local animal shelter I was fortunate to foster kittens for several weeks so they were ready to be adopted. Aside from taking care of cats for family, this was beyond the most rewarding getting to help and nurse such young baby animals. For four years I as well lived with friends/roomates who I helped adopt and take care of a young calico cat who once was timid, is now a cuddly girl who loves head scratches and to sit on your lap.

“Michelle was so so helpful despite me booking a trip and needing Rover care near to last minute. She is really attuned to detail and she went above and beyond with care, leaving my apartment clean and tidy. It’s obvious she’s an animal lover and she was so sweet in sending detailed updates about my cats. My travel plans changed and we had to modify the booking but Michelle was really understanding, professional and accommodating about it. Would book her again or recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you!!!”

“As always, Michelle goes above and beyond with our furry friend! Rosha has been having a lot of stress related urinary inflammation and the vet recommended getting her outside on a walk as often as we can to help stimulate her and get her energy out. This has been a big game changer for Rosha and we asked if Michelle could help us out and take her on a walks as well. Michelle was so great, she took her out on walks daily and gave us super detailed updates. I know Rosha loves her and couldn’t ask for a better care taker for my kitty.”

“Natalie is wonderful. My sister and I were worried about leaving our cats since they both have medical needs. Not only was Natalie willing to administer the medicine, but she was also extremely caring. She put our minds at ease! We got detailed updates every visit, and she made sure to give both cats attention, not just the necessities of food and water. Your pets will be in great hands with Natalie!”

“Holly has watched our pets multiple times— she’s always thoughtful and communicative, and we leave town knowing with certainty that our pets are in amazing hands. When Holly sends photos or videos of our cats, they’re always at ease and doing their favorite activities (playing with their toys, making biscuits, and just generally having a great time.) Thank you so much for another great visit, Holly!”

About: I’ve grown up with cats in my whole family and currently have two cats of my own, so I understand their different personalities, moods, and routines very well. I’m experienced with feeding, litter box care, playtime, and giving cats the space or attention they need depending on their comfort level. I’m especially patient with shy or sensitive cats and always aim to help them feel safe and relaxed. As a cat owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone gentle, reliable, and attentive caring for your pets while you’re away 🐱💛

“Liz was great! She sent just the right amount of daily updates and pictures to make me feel comfortable about things back home. If you're a cat parent, I highly recommend reaching out to her.”

“Char is very reliable, conscientious, and communicates well. Our pets are well taken care of when we are gone for a long period of time. We can highly recommend Char if you need somebody to watch your pets even for a long period of time.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Richards
Prices are estimates per day for 1 dog. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.

“Wunna was amazing! The moment our dog, Shadow, met him, they got along and Shadow trusted him immediately. He was flexible and accommodating of our schedule. He responded to our messages quickly too, which we really appreciated.”

“We’ve booked Grisel several times and will continue to rebook! She has gone above and beyond to provide exemplary care for my Otter boy (lending him a doggy sweater when it’s cold outside and successfully flushing his eyes with his eye wash during allergy flare-ups). I can rest easy knowing that he is in her care.”

About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.
“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

“I’m so grateful to Achara for taking such good care of my pup! He did so well and had so much fun. Achara completely took my worries away from leaving my dog in a new place and sent me such good pictures! Thank you to Achara!”

About: Nothing is more important to me than the health and safety of your family. Safety being most important, my next concern is that your dog has a positive and rewarding experience in any environment they find themselves. I train dogs. My walk price reflects that experience and value I add to your dog’s experiential learning. My core philosophy is that all learning be a positive incentive based experience for the dog. Boarding rates do not include dog training. Dogs in my care receive structure throughout their day including structured playtime, walks, training, and enrichment consistent with the needs of the client. Each dog is an individual, and I welcome a discussion to find out how I can best serve your dog’s individual needs! My demonstration dog is a 1.5 y/o Malinois Husky. He is stable with all dog breeds and sizes. I work him as a sport dog but he is built to be a companion dog. Dogs in B&T may be crated or in an exclusion room for compression and decompression when not actively being trained or exercised. They will also receive structured play and walks consistent with their individual goals.
“I highly recommend Joel! My old girl was calm and happy after her day stay. Extremely considerate of Lola’s needs. She’s a picky pup and can be stressed by strangers, but not with Joel. Didn’t have to worry about her safety or well-being. A great help and huge relief.”
“Leo loved his day care experience with Hana! She was so kind and send so many pictures of Leo throughout the day. We will deff be booking with her again. She’s amazing l!!”

About: I am returning to Rover after a long hiatus while pursuing my PhD. Before my beloved Stella (black pitty) passed away, we had a wonderful time dog-sitting for clients. After many years of grief and a very, very busy life in my doctoral program, I have another doggy companion, Bruce. We enjoy working from home together and are excited to care for your pets! Training my boxer, Bruce, has been such a rewarding experience, and we hope to have the chance to help others on their journeys to build strong connections between handlers and their beloved companions. Working from home allows me to adapt to different needs and routines to stick as closely as possible with your pets current routine to give them a sense of familiarity. My boxer, Bruce, knows when it is time for his meals, bedtime, or when I need to step out to run errands for the day. I intend to do the same by adapting to your pet's routine so they feel at ease.
“Anna was so sweet and my dog Deuce was so comfortable with her. He usually has a mini melt down when I leave him but he was so happy. The coursed dinner we attended ended up taking much longer that I anticipated and Anna was so sweet and understanding when we were later to pick up Deuce than what we had scheduled. Can’t wait to use her again!”

“Davis was flexible and allowed us to drop off Beryl earlier. He seems to be enjoying looking after pets. Our initial meet left a positive impression and we’ll definitely book again if we watch another event around Golden 1 stadium.”

“We needed a dog sitter for just a few hours and used Matt. He was great and his wife. They took care of Ranger at their home. Great communication and flexibility. Highly recommend.”

“It’s been 6 months last time my fur-child visited Martha. His reacquaintance with Martha & her family went smoothly! I received a comforting video of him playing with Misty and pictures during his stay. Happy to have found Martha!!”

“Becky was amazing with our newly adopted fur baby! I had to reach out last minute and she was so willing to help. She took Daisy out for her walks and gave her her medicine and ointments as well as sent me updates throughout their day together ◡̈”

“I couldn't ask for more from a dog sitter. Marcie followed my instructions, provided a comfortable environment with positive stimulation, kept me updated with messages/pics and was just an overall pleasant person. Wonderful job!”

“Wendy was great with my dog and really helped to ease his anxiety with a recent move. He was excited to get to her house each day. Would highly recommend! Thank you, Wendy!”

About: I’ve had pets of all kinds since childhood and cared for friends and neighbors pets when they are away. Not only do I have years of experience but I will treat your pet as I would my own I am self employed and work part time so my schedule is quite flexible and I have plenty of time for play dates and long walks! I look forward to spending time with your fur babies I’m happy to spend time with your pet in your own home or take them out for walks, fresh air and outside play time
“Scott was kind to accept a last minute booking. He was prompt and kind! He took our dogs out for a walk around the neighborhood and they loved him! Thank you!”

“Juliana has been amazing with my dog as he adjusts to a cross country move! Murph was immediately comfortable with her, and she adjusted to his needs easily. Also super friendly and easy to book with! She also refilled my poop bags when I totally forgot this morning 🙈 10/10 will book again and highly recommend”

“Carrie did a wonderful job walking our pup, Jo! Carrie was professional, prompt and kind. Jo came back from her walk happy and tired - she said hello to us and immediately took a nap. Would absolutely recommend Carrie and we’re so happy to have found an awesome dog walker close by!”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs for many years, but my real training started with my own dog Haku. He has taught me patience, routine, and how to understand different dog personalities. I am used to daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable. Haku is friendly with children, other dogs, and cats, so I understand the importance of proper introductions and calm environments. Every dog has their own personality, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I work from home, so I get to spend most of my day around dogs. I’m available for boarding on weekends and flexible during weekdays. Your pup will have company, regular walks, and a steady routine instead of being left alone all day. Dogs can sense calm energy, and I bring that into my home. I keep things structured but relaxed. I respect each dog’s personality and never force interactions. Haku runs quality control and makes sure every guest feels welcome.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. I got my first pet at 11, my lovely dog mocha, and have been taking care of animals ever since. I enjoy observing and playing with almost any animal no matter size or species. I have lots of experience taking care of injured animals as more often than not I took in these types of animals growing up and even now! I have spent countless times bottle feeding baby animals as well as performing other duties a parent animal would do. Currently I am unemployed, just looking for something fun and entertaining to do while I job hunt. I plan to continue after getting a job if things work out. I am free most days of the week, the only uncertain day is Tuesday. I have two animals currently, a leopard gecko and a Bombay cat. As two wildly different animals they both have special needs I attend. My cat, jiji, is disabled and requires me to be a bit more careful than you would need to be with a cat. She has no tail but a big attitude! Beam, gecko, is about 5 years old. I adopted him from a friend who would be unable to care for him. Leopard geckos can reach 15 years old and require quite a bit attention as they are sensitive to most things. Beam is also incredibly sassy, despite only being three inches.

“As first-time Rover users, we chose Alexandra and all we can say is Alexandra is the best! She is extremely prompt & communicative and was eager to help us navigate the app and Rover support when we realized we were being charged holiday fee outside of the holiday period. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she cares for while the owners are away. Thanks Alex!”

About: What sets me apart is my experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I fostered puppies and adult dogs for four years, which gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I also grew up with working dogs, so I am very comfortable handling high-energy breeds and understand the exercise, structure, and attention they require. Whether it's a playful puppy, an active working dog, or a senior pet needing extra patience and care, I adapt to each animal's individual needs. I am confident handling dogs on walks and prioritize safety, consistency, and positive interactions. I am comfortable working with reactive dogs as well :) I am a full time student looking to fill my summer by taking care pets instead of adopting more! I have extremely open availability, whatever your pet needs Ill be there. I wholeheartedly understand the anxiety and stress that can come with leaving your pet in someone else's care, I have those same feelings when it comes to my own pets. Because of that, I will treat your pet as if they were my own, providing them with the same love, attention, and care that I would expect for my animals. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness, along with your peace of mind, are always my top priorities. While I am caring for your pet, I will be readily available by text or phone and happy to provide updates, photos, and videos to help you feel connected and reassured while you're away. 🐾

“Andrea has been walking my dog Jack for a a couple of weeks now and he has been so happy with her! He is skiddish and shy, but has taken very well to Andrea, which I think speaks well of her! They walk during lunch and he is so much more calmer in the afternoons and when I get home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
