“Achara was such a blessing for us. We were literally leaving in 1 day, down to crunch time, and freaking out because our girls have never been away from home. She did a meet and greet that afternoon, and was so easy going, very friendly, and even suggested if we wanted to make the transition for our babies easier, that we could bring them that same evening, as an option too. She was friendly and welcoming, her down to earth demeanor spoke volumes. My son and I liked her right from the start. Once we received our first update text and picture, my husband felt reassured, more and at ease in our decision. She kept in communication with us, put us at ease with the whole process (clear communication, the payment process because it was our first time with Rover as well) and gave us both pictures and updates of how they were doing. She respected our dogs' boundaries, as well as gave them options with sleeping arrangements. We knew our dogs were in the perfect hands while we were gone. We definitely will be making plans in the near future, either for over night or even just for the day. While also having a family and pet herself, Achara did an amazing job balancing our family with hers, and we definitely with be using her services again. Thank you!”

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I've always had at least one dog in my household and have adopted 2 cats a couple years ago. I pet-sit often for friends and family members and have experience with diabetic pets and administering insulin as well. I currently work Monday - Friday, 8-5. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so am available for Doggy Day Care Friday - Monday. Then I'm available after 5pm Tu/W/Th. I have a small fenced in yard at my place to keep everyone safe and secure. We live across from a park so walks are easy and away from the road. Boarding/DayCare: Your dog has to be good around cats as I have 2. If you're not sure if they are, we can do a test run with them to see. The cats are good with dogs, and are used to having canine friends around - they usually stick to themselves at first until they feel comfortable with a new friend. I have cameras setup in our house I can give you access to as well to keep an eye on your furry companion, upon request.

We have already booked Liz 3 times first for stop by visits as our fur baby needs special attention for his nose and sinus issues and twice for staying at our place. I have 21 years of experience raising cats (or is it the other way around?). In 2005 I drove two states away to rescue our first cat, Jed, a very large Bengal mix. He and his mate, a local cat we adopted were valued members of the family. Fast forward to a few years ago, my spouse and I adopted two kittens from a feral mother's litter. They were born outside, but adjusted to a quiet, stable home very quickly. They taught me that some cats need more attention or sometimes just different attention. “Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.

About: Ever since I was 10 I've taken care of dogs. I have experience in many different ages of dogs from newborn puppies to full grown. Since it is summer your pets will always fit in my schedule! About: As a teacher my summer schedule has allowed me to dog sit for families while they are on vacation. I currently have a two-year-old Border Collie named Cosmo, who absolutely loves making new friends and playing with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Being a dog mom myself, I know how much our pets mean to us, and I promise to provide the same love, care, attention, and affection that I would want for my own pup. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, happy, and at ease while you’re apart. 🐾 💕 I am a student and am off for the summer, so I have lots of time to spend with furry friends! I am so excited for our furry friends to meet and spend quality time together! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving environment where pets can feel at home while you’re away. I live in downtown Sacramento just a short walk from a park, so your pup will have plenty of opportunities for walks, exercise, fresh air, and playtime. I always follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions. I understand that every pet is unique, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while your furry family member is in my care.
About: I've taken care of my dogs, friends' dogs, and house-sat for dog owners. I’m experienced with dogs of all energy levels and temperaments. I currently work Sunday through Wednesday, and I’m fully available Thursday through Saturday. On those days, I can give your pet my full attention and focus on their care, routine, and needs. On Sunday through Wednesday, I am available before 8 am and after 8 pm. I provide dog sitting and dog walking with a strong focus on safety, trust, and maintaining each dog’s normal routine. I am comfortable with small dogs and large dogs who need a lot of exercise.

“Achara was such a blessing for us. We were literally leaving in 1 day, down to crunch time, and freaking out because our girls have never been away from home. She did a meet and greet that afternoon, and was so easy going, very friendly, and even suggested if we wanted to make the transition for our babies easier, that we could bring them that same evening, as an option too. She was friendly and welcoming, her down to earth demeanor spoke volumes. My son and I liked her right from the start. Once we received our first update text and picture, my husband felt reassured, more and at ease in our decision. She kept in communication with us, put us at ease with the whole process (clear communication, the payment process because it was our first time with Rover as well) and gave us both pictures and updates of how they were doing. She respected our dogs' boundaries, as well as gave them options with sleeping arrangements. We knew our dogs were in the perfect hands while we were gone. We definitely will be making plans in the near future, either for over night or even just for the day. While also having a family and pet herself, Achara did an amazing job balancing our family with hers, and we definitely with be using her services again. Thank you!”
