I Couldn’t Have Asked for Better Care Leaving Tonka for the first time was honestly nerve racking, but Naiomie made the entire experience stress free from day one. She sent me updates, photos, and videos throughout every single day, so I never had to wonder how he was doing. It quickly became obvious that she wasn’t just watching him, she genuinely cared about him. She took the time to learn his personality, celebrate his milestones, and even pointed out little behaviors that helped me become a better dog owner. She introduced him to her dogs slowly and safely, and before long they were playing together like old friends. Seeing my puppy build confidence, socialize appropriately, and genuinely enjoy himself meant the world to me. She even noticed that Tonka learned to ring the bell when he needed to go outside and made sure to reinforce that behavior. What impressed me most was her attention to detail. She kept his bedding clean, cleaned his eyes daily, monitored his potty habits, let me know about behaviors that needed training, and adapted her routine to fit what worked best for him. She didn’t just tell me everything was perfect, she gave me honest updates and thoughtful observations, which I really appreciated. By the end of his stay, it honestly seemed like Tonka had become part of the family. She told me she was sad to see him leave, and I could tell the feeling was mutual. As an owner, that’s incredibly reassuring. He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. About: All of my life I've grown up with animals. (Dogs, specifically.) Before I went off to college my cousin, whom I'd been living with at the time, adopted a german shepherd. This german shepherd, Bauer, became like my own. I watched him go from tiny little puppy, to this massive energetic and sweet protector. I am experienced in most areas surrounding pet ownership and responsibilities. I am very nurturing and energetic, making me just the person to take care of your cherished. I follow instruction well, and I'm also experienced in cat care as well. Just a few years ago I adopted two kittens, Panther and Jaguar, who both grew up very quickly. Unfortunately, I had to move a few momths ago and could not accommodate for them both. I, then, made the decision to leave them in the good hands of my neighbor at the time. Lastly, I am a Sociology student at Santa Rosa Junior College with an interest in basic needs, equity, and how pets play a vital role in overall health. I'm currently working on research involving these topics! I work from home and I have a 2 year old. With that being said, I’m up early and my schedule is pretty flexible given my toddler keeps me on my toes! My apartment building is indoor so no worries necessarily about your fur baby if they’re escape artists. I don’t have a balcony or yard so we’ll just get that leash on and go explore!

We were able to connect over the phone on the way out of town and then connected her with my Mom, who was staying with the dogs at our house. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my flexibility, love for animals especially I dogs. I'm a huge dog lover. I was fortunate to have my baby Roxy for almost 14 years before she was sick. I've done community service at shelters. I choose to adopt and not shop, I don't have a problem; to each their own. I do have experience with both senior and puppies. I'm currently working part time at a health bar. My schedule is pretty flexible if I do close I get off at 5. Still have plenty of time to tend to any pups. About: I had dogs for my entire childhood and as an adult, I regularly volunteer at our local shelter to take shelter dogs out for the day to help socialize them, give them love, and to just give them a change of scenery. I would be honored to care for your fur baby! I currently work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, so I have very flexible availability those days so I can fit your pup’s needs. I work Tuesday through Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm, but am fully available afterwards. I have a large fenced backyard with plenty of space for your pup to run around if needed. I am happy to board, so long as your pet is comfortable staying in the yard. We have rabbits in the home, so unfortunately we cannot have dogs indoors.

He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was available to accommodate Amara super last minute, which was life saving, and she really understood the needs of a senior doggo with a particular personality. They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch.
