He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. About: I’ve been around/cared for dogs for more than 20 years of my life and still continue doing so. From having my own dogs at home to taking care of dogs in other peoples homes, I make sure to do my best work when taking care of them. I’m currently working from home, but with very flexible time. This gives me lots of time to be able to spend time with your pups here at my house or simply to just give them time to enjoy the outside in your own home/place. There may be some weekends where I can offer boarding or check-in’s. I have a huge fenced yard along with two playful pups that would love to have friends over to run around with or simply keep company for naps. I make sure to follow each rule and direction that is given to me in order to make your fur baby’s stay/check in as smooth as possible.

I am available full-time four days out of the week. I am available to go on walks/hikes with your dog during the week and/or weekends. I would be available for overnight stays during the weekends. I have a fenced yard, and I can easily crate your dog if needed. Your dog would be welcome to come inside our home. Your dog would not be left unaccompanied or unsupervised in our home. For dogs with good social skills, I would also be able to take them to a dog park nearby. I’m currently self-employed and often work from home. I am available everyday, except Wednesdays, to dog-sit. I regularly take my dog on walks in the morning and evening with a couple of potty-breaks throughout the day. Cinder would love some company on her walks! We have a fenced yard they can go outside. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. I would absolutely trust her with Atlas again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and compassionate dog sitter.”

About: I’ve been around/cared for dogs for more than 20 years of my life and still continue doing so. From having my own dogs at home to taking care of dogs in other peoples homes, I make sure to do my best work when taking care of them. I’m currently working from home, but with very flexible time. This gives me lots of time to be able to spend time with your pups here at my house or simply to just give them time to enjoy the outside in your own home/place. There may be some weekends where I can offer boarding or check-in’s. I have a huge fenced yard along with two playful pups that would love to have friends over to run around with or simply keep company for naps. I make sure to follow each rule and direction that is given to me in order to make your fur baby’s stay/check in as smooth as possible.

“Katherine was a fantastic sitter for our senior pup Amara and I would happily be a return customer! She was available to accommodate Amara super last minute, which was life saving, and she really understood the needs of a senior doggo with a particular personality. She was very thorough, even communicating which vet she would use in case of emergency (don’t worry, no emergencies occurred!). They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch. Amara was a very happy girl at the end of her stay and I would definitely recommend Katherine as a Rover sitter!”
