A bit about me: I have loved animals since I was a kid. I was a vet assistant at a local vet hospital. After working in the field for about 5 years, I wanted to try something else and transitioned to pet sitting. With my vet experience, I can spot subtle signs of illness, can give eye drops, oral medication, and injectable medications. Working at a vet hospital also means I worked with a wide array of different dog (and cat!) breeds and temperaments. Special accommodations can be made to ensure everyone’s safety (within reason). I am familiar with the more stubborn and hard headed breeds, even owning some of them in the past. I also have basic obedience training knowledge, so I can help with puppy training. Starting June 19th, 2026 I will be doing dog walking and pet sitting full time. Therefore, I will be able to accommodate most schedules, even for the more anxious and clingy pets out there. If your pet cannot be left alone for more than 4-5 hours, an additional fee will be added to the booking. You can rest easy knowing you pet will be treated like family in the comfort of their own home. For you — I can do some light housekeeping, bring in the mail/packages, and take care of any houseplants. Boarding clients can expect a tidy house and side yard potty access. 20-30 minute walk included per day. I can provide puzzle toys and frozen kongs on hot days with owner permission. Boarding requests are taken on a case by case basis, as I have two dogs of my own. They get along well with other dogs, but I would like to see how everyone interacts with each other before agreeing to anything. Boarded pets will also need proof of vaccination. As a pet owner myself, I know it can be hard entrusting your pet, as well as your home, to someone unfamiliar. I have also stayed at my neighbors house for two days and took care of 3 dogs and multiple cats(fed them, gave meds,walked, took potty, cleaned up, and put them to bed). I am not working or going to school right now, but I do still have my own schedule with things that I work on. I’d say from about 10 AM to 4 PM everyday except Whenever someone introduces their dog to me or I see a dog that I’ve known for a while. I always look to nurture them with love and care, or play with them if they want to play. I like to think of dogs like tiny furry people with their own personalities and intelligence and learning about them is always fun.

“Valary is great. She has tons of land, for the dogs to run and walk in, on or off leash. Her house was ideal for my dogs stay. He had a large yard to stay in during the day, then a living room for the night. He looked like he had a huge smile on his face the entire time, and was super tired afterwards - which meant he got lots of exercise - from running wild and jumping in lakes.”

Willow and Piglet loved being with her family and the pictures we received showed playtime, and how the pups were tucked into doggy beds and covered with a warm blanket. Jennifer's family were just as amazing and our pups loved it there. It is always an anxious moment trying to find someone to take care of your loved ones, but Jennifer and her lovely family take the worry out of the choice.
