“Yolanda is genuinely fantastic!!! First of all, she’s so kind and you can tell she truly loves animals and people. She came and met our furry family and was very attentive to the details of how to care for them. Prior to our vacation, she checked in and was very communicative and excited to come and stay. I sent a few videos via the app on some updated protocols with the kitty meds, and she was on it! While she was here, she sent sweet pics of our kitties and kept us posted. Our cats are “elders” and needs meds, and she did a great job handling all of it! She left our house spotless and communicated prior to heading out as well. About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are home a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. In Client’s Home: I follow your pet’s normal schedule (meals, walks, meds) and keep their environment familiar. Includes updates, litter/yard cleanup, and extra cuddles to reduce stress while you’re away.
