“So happy to have found Nicole on Rover. She took great care of our dog, Jack. We had to be out of town for a few days and couldn't take him. He gets seperation anxiety, so we thought it best he stay with someone. Nicole has a calm manner and welcomed him with open arms. Jack took to her family and dog DJ quickly. He sometimes has issues with being around other dogs but he loved playing with DJ! She also listened when we talked about Jack's issue with being around bigger dogs. She made sure that her "sitting" schedule wouldn't include big dogs while Jack was there. That was very appreciated. We liked that she allows her visitors on the couch, bed, wherever. This is very much how we run our home and wanted Jack to be as at ease as possible. Her home is cozy and fur baby friendly. She sent us daily photos and updates. Nicole also graciously kept Jack an extra night, which wasn't scheduled, when our plane was delayed several hours. We picked up a happy and calm boy the next morning. So happy with the care and attention he received. We would call on Nicole again.”

I have had pets all my life and have volunteered with a non profit animal rescue organization for the last 11 years where I have dealt with dogs of all breads and personalities. They all just want to feel safe and loved and I provide that with a little extra pampering to make them feel extra special. I have cared for dogs after surgery, on special diets and ones that have required medications to be given. You can rest assured that all dogs in my care are given extra special treatment so they feel secure and loved. I have everything a dog needs, blankets, beds, toys, bowls, treats. However if your dog has a special food, treat or a favorite toy or blanket please feel free to bring them so your dog feels at home in my home. We have recently added cameras so that we can see and hear the dogs when we are at work, they can even hear us. We have an area of the house gated off so they can not get out the front door for extra safety. Our home is complete with pet-friendly flooring and fresh filtered water in all rooms, as we; as dog beds with comfy blankets. We allow dogs on the furniture and if they want, they are welcome to sleep with a family member in one of our three comfy beds. All of the large areas in our home have safety gates so that the exit doors are secure, We have a fenced back yard that is safe for dogs to go potty or play in.

About: I’m a dog mom plus 10 years of experience. Petsitting is not just a job_ its a great way to bond with the animals and give them the love and attention they need while their owners are away. Comfort, lots of love care and safety is a priority! The daily schedule would start with feeding time at 7am breakfast. Midday play time in the backyard. Dinner time is 5pm. Fresh water is always available indoor/outdoor. Lots of playtime and I captured videos and pictures and sent to owners daily. He has trouble containing his excitement, he's only met Mike one other time so far, but absolutely loves him. Mike did a great job gauging the situation and confidently guiding the interactions with a calm but assertive presence. Mike was really helpful, has great advice, and is understanding that my dog's ongoing behavioral shaping-he didn't view my dog's behaviors as "flawed," he just recognized where there is room to grow. My dog requires a very confident, warm but steady demeanor and I can tell that Mike is able to adjust his communication with dogs to meet them where they're at. I trust that he can calculate just how far to push the learning to keep it productive but challenging enough to help my dog grow his skills. About: I helped my parents take care of there friends dogs since I was 8 and they've taught me a lot. Also my mom worked at Petco and worked in animal care and she told me and taught me what she's learned from her experience at work with cats and other animals. I've been currently looking for a job and havent had any luck so I have a lot of free time on my hands weekdays and weekends!! When we went to go sit my parents friends dogs we would feed them every morning and evening and then let them run around in the backyard they had a doggie door in their bedroom so for the most part the dogs had access to the bathroom to go potty and come and go as they please. But when we hung out in the living room with them since there was no access to a doggy door we would let them out around 3-4 times per day we would also walk them in the morning and sunset and feed them either before or after there walk depending on their actions and vibes

At home I have always been the caretaker giving them food, cleaning after them, bathing them, and seeking medical advice if I noticed something was off. I’m generally detail oriented and I enjoy spending time with dogs. I also have had other pets as well including fish, chickens, and canaries so I’ve grown up surrounded by animals. I try to research any of the problems they experience myself and come up with a course of action with how to deal with them keeping in mind costs, effectiveness, and safety. My dogs are my running buddies and when I have the chance I like going hiking with them, taking them to swim, and even sitting around a campfire with them. I’m currently a pre-health student who’s going to be available on weekends, mornings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and soon I will be available on Wednesdays and Fridays in the afternoon. I am on a weight loss journey so it helps me to excercise your dog too. Depending on the day and on the pets needs I would give them potty breaks. As for water it’s better to wait until after they get back home and cool down from the walk so they don’t get gastric dialiation, unless they really need it.
