About: Hi There! I have 25 years of animal care experience, as well as dog training and behavior knowledge. I’ve just returned from living in Thailand for a year, where I worked as a supervisor for Lanta Animal Welfare, a dog and cat rescue. Prior to that, I volunteered at Rocket Dog Rescue. I had been working as a dog walker for 2 years leading up to my move. To make things even more interesting and weird, I also have have 15 years of experience in gorilla, chimpanzee and other primate care through volunteering with Oakland Zoo, Ape Action Africa and formerly The Gorilla Foundation with Koko! I know how much the animals in my life (domestic and otherwise) mean to me. That said, I promise to treat your pet(s) with the same love and attention I would hope for if I were hiring someone to do the same for my animal family. “Golda was a great caretaker for our hyper-active labradoodle! She worked to tire Ginger out with endless ball-throwing (what she lives for). This was the longest I have ever boarded her so was worried about her. Golda sent daily updates & photos which calmed me down quite a bit! And, of course, it rained heavily on 3 of the days with Golda; but she still managed to exercise Ginger in the rain. Would be very comfortable having Ginger with Golda again!”

I allow our furry friends on the couch, but can also work on furniture-boundaries if your pooch isn't allowed on furniture at your own home. I work from home, so I'll be home most of the day during the weekdays. The longest your pup will be home alone (with my pups) is around 5 hours. I am comfortable with big dogs. We take dogs on the basis that they are potty trained. If we feel there are an excessive number of indoor incidents, we will let you know, and ask for a $10 additional fee (per week, or fraction thereof), to cover the cost of laundry and cleaning supplies.** Thanks! Our home has two lush green lawns where our pets love to play. Because I work from home, I’m available to nurture and care for my pets all day long. I work remotely from home, so I am free all day to walk pets, entertain pets, and take pets out to potty. Because I already own a dog and cat, caring for others’ will align perfectly with my schedule. I have a large fenced yard with a grassy lawn where your fur baby can sun bathe, run, and play as desired. “Golda was a great caretaker for our hyper-active labradoodle! She worked to tire Ginger out with endless ball-throwing (what she lives for). This was the longest I have ever boarded her so was worried about her. Golda sent daily updates & photos which calmed me down quite a bit! And, of course, it rained heavily on 3 of the days with Golda; but she still managed to exercise Ginger in the rain. Would be very comfortable having Ginger with Golda again!”

“I just started fostering a dog, and I’m so scared to leave him with anyone. My dog just went through major hip surgery, and is on a strict medication schedule along with PT range of motion exercises and a strict bed rest. Beatryx took the time to meet me and ask exactly what I wanted during Pepe’s boarding. They asked all the right questions and assured me that Pepe would be in great care. The day when I had to leave Pepe, I ran into some complications at work and had to reschedule the drop off time. Beatryx was so understanding and flexible about everything. They sent me pictures every hour because they knew how anxious I was. Pepe was so happy that when we went to leave he had to go back and give Beatryx extra kisses. I would definitely leave Pepe with Beatryx again and again!”
