Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”

About: I have only pet-sat for friends doggos and cats in the past. Now that we are in a bigger place with a small yard, I’d love to work with you and your dogs. I will follow your directions and love your doggo right. I have had several Ridgebacks and Dobermans, a greyhound, and a viasla in my life and now love my two small ones - a rat terrier mix and a Pinchiweenie. I work from home and my desk is downstairs right by the back door so the door is open all day for my pets to go out as they please. I live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for nice walkies around my neighborhood which has lots of grassy areas. I have time throughout the day for walks if needed and I make a point to have playtime with balls or toys throughout the day. We live just a few minutes from Oakland Airport in an 2 story townhome with a small (20 ft x 20ft), fully enclosed yard with areas for potties. It has great morning and early afternoon sun and I always have beds outside for sunning. The door is open for them to goes out as they want. We allow our pets in the couch and I office downstairs to keep an eye on the doggos. I have several water bowls around for hydration. I feed my girls a combination of kibble and homemade dog food, so “special meals” are not an issue for me.

Our home has two lush green lawns where our pets love to play. Because I work from home, I’m available to nurture and care for my pets all day long. I work remotely from home, so I am free all day to walk pets, entertain pets, and take pets out to potty. Because I already own a dog and cat, caring for others’ will align perfectly with my schedule. I have a large fenced yard with a grassy lawn where your fur baby can sun bathe, run, and play as desired. About: I grew up surrounded by pets and have spent my entire life caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. For over 12 years, friends and family have trusted me as their go-to person for walking, feeding, bathing, and looking after their animals — long before I made it a profession. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, anxious pets, and multi-dog households. Every pet in my care gets photo and video updates throughout the day so you always know your dog is happy, safe, and loved. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because I intentionally keep a flexible schedule to provide reliable, attentive care. I also believe in consistency, communication, and treating every pet like they’re my own are what give owners peace of mind while they’re away. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I provide regular photo and video updates for peace of mind, and I’m experienced with dogs of all temperaments, including anxious, seniors and special needs pets. Potty breaks will be according to however the owner pet would like to keep your dog comfortable and on routine.
About: As avid dog lovers with over 15 years of experience, we've cared for various breeds, including our own Shih Tzu who sadly passed away last year. We also frequently looked after our brother’s French Bulldog, who happily reunited with our Shih Tzu, and a Siberian Husky, along with other family dogs. Living in a pet-friendly community with ample grassy areas, your pups will have plenty of space to roam and play. Before your drop-off, we'd love to arrange a meet and greet to acquaint ourselves with you and your furry companions! This is not our first time on Rover. We have been dog-sitting on Rover for about 3 years. The first two years were under a different account with our mom because of age. So we did it together with our parents and were very happy with both animal and human clientele who were just as happy with our services. We offer a fenced backyard patio and expansive grassy areas within our community, and we're happy to provide photos of the surroundings upon request prior to booking. Alternatively, we can arrange a meet and greet so you can explore our dog-friendly and secure neighborhood firsthand. Our area boasts ample walking spaces and provides poop bags for your convenience. For crate-trained dogs, we recommend bringing their crate to ensure their comfort. Additionally, please bring any items that will help your dog feel at ease and secure during their stay. If your dog requires medication, be sure to bring it along. While we do offer some dog treats, feel free to bring your pup's favorites to ensure they feel right at home. Your pets' comfort and safety are our top priorities, and we strive to make their stay as enjoyable as possible!
About: I love dogs! At the end of the day your fur child will be happy and pooped, and you will be worry free knowing that they are in safe hands and well taken care of. Having pets of my own I am very well aware of the responsibilities that come with a dog. I know just exactly what is required of me, and what is expected. After a long hard day at work, you will be able to come home to a cuddle bug just waiting for your arrival. Or even while you are away on vacation, you can be rest assured knowing that your pet is in good hands! What comes with your pet visit: 1 on 1 attention full of love and care. 30 minutes or more of playtime at the dog park at least once per stay 15-20 min. walks (at least 3 times a day). Meals will be served morning and evening Positive reinforcement is a must! Please note that it is a MUST that your dog is neutered/spayed to prevent any accidents. And let me know of any problem behaviors so I can best understand your dog's needs and how to approach it.

“Astrid was a lifesaver! The dog sitter for my active Aussie Shepard/pitbull mix had a medical emergency and she agreed to watch my Lola on a week’s notice. Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”

About: I have only pet-sat for friends doggos and cats in the past. Now that we are in a bigger place with a small yard, I’d love to work with you and your dogs. I will follow your directions and love your doggo right. I have had several Ridgebacks and Dobermans, a greyhound, and a viasla in my life and now love my two small ones - a rat terrier mix and a Pinchiweenie. I work from home and my desk is downstairs right by the back door so the door is open all day for my pets to go out as they please. I live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for nice walkies around my neighborhood which has lots of grassy areas. I have time throughout the day for walks if needed and I make a point to have playtime with balls or toys throughout the day. We live just a few minutes from Oakland Airport in an 2 story townhome with a small (20 ft x 20ft), fully enclosed yard with areas for potties. It has great morning and early afternoon sun and I always have beds outside for sunning. The door is open for them to goes out as they want. We allow our pets in the couch and I office downstairs to keep an eye on the doggos. I have several water bowls around for hydration. I feed my girls a combination of kibble and homemade dog food, so “special meals” are not an issue for me.
