About: As a long time owner of a working breed, I am familiar with energetic dogs that need both physical activity and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy. I go on daily hour long strolls each evening with my own dog as well as morning walks with play sessions scattered throughout the day. In addition to caring for my own dog, I've regularly helped friends and watch their dogs while they're away. This has given me experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether it's taking them on walks, keeping up with feeding schedules, providing companionship, or making sure they feel comfortable in a new environment, I enjoy getting to know each dog's unique needs and personality! When caring for your dog, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and at home while you're away, whether that means going on long walks, playing fetch, sticking to their routine, or simply providing companionship and attention. I live in a home with a fenced backyard with my partner who is also work from home, so we have a very flexible schedule and will always have at least one person supervising your pet. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. About: My experience with cats really comes from growing alongside my three cats, Cersei, Jaime, and Tyrion. They all have completely different personalities, and each one has taught me something different about patience, attention, and understanding what a cat needs. Cersei was my first cat, and we adopted her when she was only about 2 months old. She was the one who taught me how much care and attention a young kitten needs. When she developed ringworm at around 2 years old, our routine changed completely. We had to give her baths and oral medication every day, which was definitely not her favorite thing! It took a lot of patience and consistency, but we stayed with the routine until she fully recovered. Jaime came next, and he could not be more different. He is extremely energetic, playful, and always wants to be involved in whatever is happening. Soon after adopting him, we noticed something wasn’t right with the way he was walking. After taking him to the vet, we found out he had fractured his tibia. For the next few months, he had to live with a cast, which was especially challenging for such an active cat. We had to keep him clean, stop him from overdoing it, and still find safe ways for him to move around and stay engaged. Then there is Tyrion, our youngest. He is a much more sensitive soul. He can be very timid around new people, and with him I learned that sometimes the best way to care for a cat is simply to give them time. We never pushed him to interact before he was ready. We let him approach us at his own pace and made sure he always had a place where he felt safe. Having three cats with such different personalities has taught me that there really isn’t one way to care for every cat. Some want constant attention, some need extra patience, and some just need someone nearby who understands when to give them space. I pay close attention to those little differences, and I always try to make a cat feel comfortable on their terms.

She loved on our mature elder cat and was very conscientious of our anxious junior cat making sure she had her medicine, ample food and water, and toys arranged for play. Amazing! The pets are able to go wherever they want in the studio- bed, chairs, table etc (if they want!). The apartment is secure and inaccessible to most unless I let them in so is a safe home. I will ensure the pets if left alone are always safely in the apartment and have access to their food and water at all times. Extra accommodations like pads can be added to the house if not house trained. Animal safety and wellbeing is my upmost priority.
