I’ve never had a dog with separation anxiety before and frankly it’s a nightmare because I have to have a dog sitter every time instead of letting him stay with friends Well, at this point feels like Joe is his friend. On the day I dropped him off, she sent me pictures of him playing with other dogs within the first hour and again in the evening giving me an update of his day. We were a bit nervous our Mimi has severe separation anxiety and keeping her from getting out or away was another concern. We could kennel her and she would for sure be secure, but miserable or we could go with a private boarder such a Kitti and his wife and know our Mimi was going to be treated like we treat her. Kitti sent updates and picture to us throughout our trip and told us what Mimi did with her day. He put our minds at ease. About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.

About: I have owned chickens, cats, parakeets, and dogs in the past. Pets are my life. My boy Kenny (a Goldendoodle), whom I recently got, I consider my son. Because of my PTA program, I'm only available during the mornings on Mon/Wed/Thu. On all other days, I have open availability to stay as long as your pets need! While I cannot take pets to my own home, I can take care of pets in other settings so long as the owner is comfortable and aware of where I am with their pet.
