“Sally was very attentive to my dog Anyma. Anyma hasn’t been boarded in a very long time. He’s only 1.5yrs old. He’s a sheltie and they tend to get anxious easily, not wanting to be separated by their owners. But Anyma was comfortably situated in her home with multiple dogs. Anyma is normally a cautious dog and a barker but he got a long with everyone there. I left him for about two weeks, there were no issues. Sally makes you feel at east, she has experiences with her own dogs and has a huge yard for the dogs to run freely around. Thank you Sally for watching over my dog! Would highly recommend and def will book her again.”

I feed them when we return from our morning and evening walks. Unless, there is a preferred set schedule for feeding. Your dog will be loved and cared for as if he/she is our own. We always walk on-leash. We separate the dogs during feeding times.

About: I'm excited to meet new pets and their people! While I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to caring for animals. I have over 20 years of professional experience caring for pets and homes, along with a lifetime of loving animals of my own. Animals have been part of my life since childhood. I've cared for dogs of every size, age, and personality, as well as cats, birds, and other small animals. Most recently, I spent four years living in Hawaii with my own dog, cat, and bird, and have cared for pets throughout the Bay Area, including Marin, San Francisco, Oakland, Contra Costa, and Napa. I'm an outdoor enthusiast who loves mountain biking, hiking, camping, and exploring nature. During COVID, while my massage therapy practice was on pause, I got a certification in canine massage, deepening my understanding of canine anatomy, mobility, and comfort. I have had dogs my entire life and have experience caring for and engaging with many different types of dogs, personalities, and energy levels. I currently foster dogs through Copper's Dream Rescue, which has given me even more hands-on experience helping dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are away from their families. I'm also dog CPR and First Aid certified, so your pup's safety and well-being are always my top priorities. When your dog stays with me, they'll be treated like one of my own—with plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and care. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their individual routines, personalities, and needs. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog with someone else, and my goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pup has a fun, safe, and loving stay! I’m a teacher, so I’m typically home by 3 PM on weekdays, and my husband works from home during the week. This means your dog will have plenty of companionship and won’t be left alone for long periods of time. Our dogs get three walks a day, along with plenty of attention, playtime, and downtime. If your dog enjoys dog parks, we also have a nearby dog park that is suitable for dogs who enjoy socializing and getting some extra exercise in the evening. On weekends, we love taking our dogs on dog-friendly adventures, so boarding with us can include lots of fun activities and new experiences when appropriate for your dog.
