“Hired Amanda to drop by and meet n greet our cat and dogs for an upcoming vacation where the cat has to stay behind. She's absolutely perfect. The animals were interested and engaged immediately. She has a lovely calming demeanor and was comfortable and confident in her role and responsibilities. She has deep ties in this community with mutual acquaintances and many years experience. It's not easy handing over your keys and your fur baby(ies) to a 'stranger' but this felt really right. Hiring her for our out of town dates for drop in visits for the cat.”
About: I’ve had very much experience sitting for family and friends pets throughout the past 6 years. I do also have experience working with animals through volunteering at an animal shelter for about a year and a half. As of now, I am working in a vet clinic as a veterinary assistant. I am working my way to become a registered veterinary technician! I do have a dog of my own, he is two years old so he is very energetic! I always make sure to take him on walks before I go to school or work! My grandparents do also have a dog which I will always check on and walk as well! Not only do I have my own personal pet care but I also care for pets while I’m working as a veterinary assistant. My dog does get his regular walks and playtime since he’s still a puppy. About: We’ve had dogs our whole lives and truly believe every dog has their own unique personality and needs. Spending time with them is something we genuinely enjoy. We live in a townhome right next to a park, which is perfect for relaxed walks, outdoor time, or just sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air together. We also have a fully enclosed patio, giving dogs a safe outdoor space to relax, explore, and get some fresh air. We have a lot of experience caring for senior dogs and are comfortable administering medications when needed. We live in a townhome next to a park, and have alot of grassy area which makes it easy to take safe, regular walks, or potty breaks and we also have a fully enclosed patio where dogs can relax outside in a secure space if they like to sun bath. About: I have taken care of several dogs, and have a dogs of my own. I am able to board, feed, walk, play and bathe pets (of course bathe them only with their family’s approval). If your dog has any dietary restrictions or cannot do good with other dogs, please let me know so I can make reasonable accommodations to meet your pups needs! About: I’ve had animals since I was really young. I even know how to take care of horses. I started riding when I was about 5. I went to my first horse show when I was 13. I started it in Claremont, CA then I took a break for about 7 months because I was moving around. I spent some time in Louisiana, Upstate NY and am now back in California and ready to play with some lovely furbies (fur babies aka dogs and kitties). I love fur babies so much and having them around is more of an enjoyment than a "Job". If I am watching over your home as well, I am always interested in leaving spaces cleaner than when I found them so feel free to let me know how you would like things to be done in your home. Do you want the trash taken out on a certain day? Are you expecting friends or family to be coming by? Are your pets allowed on your furniture? And any other tasks I can fulfill while there to ensure that your pet and/or home are safe, clean and enjoyable for your return. As an avid animal lover, I’ve had my own dog and several fancy rats in the past and have cared for several of my friends' reptiles. With that said, I am also open to taking care of animals of other species with extensive direction. I’m a pretty active person but can also adapt to whatever your furry friend needs. I thoroughly enjoy playing with animals whether it’s a long walk with your pup or playing with a laser pointer with your cats, I know we will both have a great time. How I care for your pets will strongly depend on how you typically want your pets cared for. I know that animals typically enjoy routine so I try not to stray too far from instruction given, whether that is specific times for play or even specific training. The more you communicate your animals needs the better I can ensure they have an enjoyable stay. I do not give references from other pet parents. About: I’ve grown up with dogs around me all of my life. My great grandfather had 11 and my grandparents have 5. My grandparents are owners of a champion show dog. Through them I’ve learned proper training on handling/approaching a dog. I like to take care and handle of dogs with the love and affection they deserve. I am a hard working individual and like to keep myself busy with work which is perfect for your pooch who needs all of the love and attention. I believe that dogs can really affect a persons life in a positive manner. I believe its also an owners duty to bring positivity and joy into their dogs life. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10, and love to play and do fun activities with pets! I am patient, friendly, and gentle with all kinds of pets I’m currently not working so I have a flexible schedule all week. About: So many friends and neighbors wanted me to take care of their dogs when i was just a kid cause they knew that i can understand their language. About: Fostered young kittens and cats for 2 years. And had a dog growing up my whole life :) makes me happy to be able to spend time with them <3 I work from home everyday of the week except Tuesday’s and Wednesdays. So am able to make this work most days! Also live in a great pet friendly neighborhood so lots of space for walks. About: We’ve had dogs our whole lives and truly believe every dog has their own unique personality and needs. Spending time with them is something we genuinely enjoy. We live in a townhome right next to a park, which is perfect for relaxed walks, outdoor time, or just sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air together. We also have a fully enclosed patio, giving dogs a safe outdoor space to relax, explore, and get some fresh air. We have a lot of experience caring for senior dogs and are comfortable administering medications when needed. Whether your pup loves a walk in the park or prefers a calm place to rest and get extra attention, we’re happy to give them the care and companionship they deserve. 🐾 My husband works in film, so he’s often home when he’s between projects, and I work from home several days a week. That means dogs staying with us get lots of attention, company, and care throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. In our home, dogs are treated like part of the family and given lots of attention and supervision. We live in a townhome next to a park, and have alot of grassy area which makes it easy to take safe, regular walks, or potty breaks and we also have a fully enclosed patio where dogs can relax outside in a secure space if they like to sun bath. We have AC too so they won’t get to hot in the summer time.
