“Boarding our two dogs with Susana was a wonderful experience. Our previous boarding/sitting situation changed and was no longer viable right as we were coming up on a 2 week trip overseas, so we were scrambling at the last minute to try to find someone we felt we could trust to watch them. Susana really went the extra mile to help us feel comfortable, including doing a video chat with us, showing us her home and backyard, and telling us about her experience as a sitter. While we were away, she sent us pictures a couple of times per day and kept us updated on what the pups were up to and how they were doing. When they weren't eating a lot (which happens with these two when they are staying somewhere new) she offered up some suggestions. I really appreciated that she checked in with us before just doing something, because Luke has a sensitive digestive system and there are lots of things that can upset his stomach which is no fun for him or the humans who are taking care of him. She also offered to give them a bath right before we returned - and I cannot even say how much we appreciated that! They always want to cuddle with us for like two solid days after they come home from a long trip, and having them clean and smelling good makes that such a wonderful experience. The dogs seemed like they had a great time and lots of fun, and they were well taken care of. We could really tell the family loved having them stay. They will definitely be staying with Susana again on a future trip 🙂”
About: I know how stressful it can be when you can't take your pets with you on vacation. When your pup stays with us, you can trust that they are in good hands and they will be treated like family! My two Aussies and I would love to hang out with your dog! We have a backyard with a pool and a good daily routine. We want you and your pup to feel safe and comfortable staying with us! I work from home and my dogs are my first priority. Breakfast and potty at 7am, lunch at noon, dinner at 6pm. I usually check in with them every 3-4 hours to see if they need to go out. We do outdoor play in the yard or pool around 2pm for an hour if the weather permits. And we all relax in the evening and everyone gets a potty break and bed time treat around 9:30pm. The dogs are always under my watch, and I’ll spend my time with them making sure they’re doing good. They will never be out of my supervision.

About: My love of pets started when I was a kid! I started pet sitting in elementary school with neighbors and family friends. I was also a 4H kid growing up, so I have experience with many dog breeds and even started training my own dog in middle school. High needs pets aren’t a problem, whether it’s teething puppies or senior dogs on multiple medications; I’ve taken care of them all! Typically I would find jobs word of mouth but I have moved recently and am looking for new families to help out. Currently I can’t have pets in my home so I would give all my love to your furry friends. My schedule is currently very flexible! Weekdays are open for care at any time of day and weekends are generally good, especially if I have a week or two heads up. I can accommodate the schedule that your pet has become accustomed to. Depending on distance, I am willing to stop by your home 2-3 times a day to take care of your pets needs or stay most of the day for overnight stays. I will even water house plants. For dog walking, I will always keep your pet on a leash and exercise caution when around your pet’s stressors or triggers.

About: I have grown up with dogs. The past 10+ years I have cared for other peoples dogs. I understand how uneasy people feel about leaving their pooch in a Kennel, simply because their dog is their world and they would rather have their dog have home comforts whilst you are apart. Married but we have no children so am able to offer a calm environment for those dogs that are mature or nervous of bangs and loud noises. Likewise I have the time and energy for those dogs that need a little more play time. I have a neutered schnoodle that is mature enough to chill but also enjoys a play. I work part time from home. So I am able to offer your pooch a lot of time and love, be it walks or just company. I have an enclosed, secure garden, mainly walled with gated access which is locked. It is completely private. About: I have a lot of education with dogs. In high school I attended a Scroc Pet boarding class and also went to Animal Behavior College. I worked at Pet Boarding and Spa in Lomita, California. I volunteer at the Lancaster Animal Shelter where I have fostered puppies that were underaged and bottle fed them and potty trained them. I am very familiar with humane animal restraint.
