The cats of her childhood were a somewhat wild things that would roam around her backyard in Tahoe most of the day, checking back in to deliver presents of dead chipmunks and birds, and to cuddle. She’ll never forget delivering the kittens of her cat, Callie the Calico, when she was about 13– a formative experience in her young life. We have an Australian-Shepherd who such a bundle of joy, energy, and excitement, always eager to make new experiences, new pet friends, and new human-bonds! I've been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I've always had at least 2-3 dogs at-home, at all times. These dogs have either stayed for just the day, overnight, or have boarded with me, the longest-boarding being 2-3 months with a German-Shepherd rescue, and we always have a blast. We always seek to find a routine so as to calm any boredom or stress throughout each day! We play, take walks, hang out in the grass yard / property, and go on 1-3 miles hikes in the local area! I love to spoil every dog I have the pleasure to be around, take scenic walks, and of course taking lots and lots of pictures. Daytime Adventures: Available most weeks days (7am-4pm, pickup or drop off) to take your pup on a hike, play yard games, and practice new skills. Sitting and Boarding: Kainoa and Carly are available for night and weekend sitting or longer-term boarding with 1 week advance notice. We live on a large property with a fenced-in yard, lush green-pasture for playtime, and complete with a shaded (puppy-proof) deck! I have no problem with crate-training, my goal is to give your pet what they need to be settled, calm, happy, curious, and playful… and then to give them lots of love and cuddles and kisses!

About: I just LOVE animals and they seem to love me! I have quite a bit of experience caring for various dogs, cats, etc. I've also helped my 3 children raise a variety of animals as well! Out of the many things I could be doing I choose caring for pets because it's one of the most gratifying jobs! You can be assured and comforted to know that I'll take great care of your loved one and your home as I am very considerate and conscious and considerate. About: I have experience with birds, cats, and small to very large dogs! I am willing to train if needed for your dogs. Cats and birds are welcome! I work as a mobile X-ray tech and have availability after 3:30 Tuesday through Saturday. I am free on Sundays and Mondays the full day. :) I am trustworthy and loving towards your pet care needs, I have plenty of grass at the park near my home for dogs to run!
