Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. Our dog walker also commented on how noticeably happier and healthier Indi seemed while staying at Luna’s — her stools even improved (a true win for IBD dog parents!). Communication was flawless, kind, and reassuring the whole time. We felt completely at ease, which is priceless. About: Carly grew up with cats and they have always held a special place in her heart. The cats of her childhood were a somewhat wild things that would roam around her backyard in Tahoe most of the day, checking back in to deliver presents of dead chipmunks and birds, and to cuddle. She’ll never forget delivering the kittens of her cat, Callie the Calico, when she was about 13– a formative experience in her young life. Carly frequently took care of other cats in her neighborhood when their owners went out of town, and is familiar and fluent in the gentle dance of getting to know a new cat, establishing trust and boundaries. About: I’ve raised 3 puppies into adulthood. I have experience potty training puppies. I’m also good at taking pups to their vet appointment. About: I absolutely love animals and I’m always excited to meet new little personalities. I work well with all sizes and ages, and I’m patient, calm, and consistent. I’m great with basic training, potty routines, leash manners, and socializing. I’m very loving but also structured, so your baby will feel safe and cared for!🫶🏻 I work during the week (about 8am–3pm) and I’m currently off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Outside of that, I’m usually home and available, so I’m still able to give a lot of attention and one-on-one care! I split my time between San Francisco and Petaluma on our family farm. It’s a calm, simple environment and it’s usually just me and my two-year-old, who is very gentle and used to being around animals. We spend a lot of time outside, going on walks, exploring, and just hanging out with the animals.

About: There's never been a time when I haven't been surrounded by animals, and I have grown to enjoy and take seriously the care of pets. I also worked part-time at a kennel, and have lots of experience with many different breeds of dogs. As a pet sitter, I make sure to put the animals comfort and care first and offer updates daily to pet owners. I am also a very active person and I'm constantly hiking or going for runs. I have cared for everything from birds, dogs, cats, horses, and reptiles. I've also helped to train dogs (and puppies) as well as groom them. I don't think I've ever met an animal that I didn't love, and would love to get to know yours! I work from home on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and can be available some weekends with advanced notice. After getting to know a dog, would consider house boarding. No overnights at someone’s house at this time. Since I work from home, I would be able to schedule my day around the walks for the dogs. I can do a walk to the park on my lunch breaks, or start or end the day with them. I always treat my clients home with respect and aim to leave if the same or better than I found it. At this time, only established pets in my schedule would be open for at home care. For those pets, we’re used to organizing our schedule around special needs dogs, including making sure a camera is on for any moments we might leave the house.

“Jeanette and her family took care of our 3 dogs for 6 days so I can bring my kids for their spring break vacation. It was there first time to stay in a sitter’s house. My daughter who is the one mostly takes care of the dogs will not agree to go to our vacation if we can’t find a good dog sitter. We had a bad experience in the past when we put Coco in a sitter and he seemed to be was not given good care and will not give us updates. But when my daughter saw Janette and family, she was already at ease and told me, “ I already trust them, mom!
