About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. Most dogs love nature, and it's exciting to see them perk up on walks at the sound of chirping birds, rustling brush, or a skittering lizard. There are great dog-friendly nature paths in Novato and San Rafael that give the pups both sniffing and social opportunities, so they come home tired and content. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs, and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, patience, and exercise. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. About: Although I have never owned a dog myself, I have several years of experience caring for family dogs. My sister has had a dog since 2016, and my mom got a dog in 2023. I regularly help care for them when my family is out of town, including feeding them on schedule, providing fresh food and water, taking them on walks, and making sure they are safe and comfortable. “This was Kat's first time sitting for our kitten Peanut, and she exceeded our expectations across the board. Communication was excellent — she shared regular updates and sent us genuinely fun photos that we loved getting throughout the trip. When we hit an unexpected schedule change, Kat was completely accommodating and made it a non-issue. The house was just as clean as we left it. She followed everything we asked, from the litter box routine to stripping the bed before we got back. I’m great with basic training, potty routines, leash manners, and socializing. I’m very loving but also structured, so your baby will feel safe and cared for!🫶🏻 I work during the week (about 8am–3pm) and I’m currently off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Outside of that, I’m usually home and available, so I’m still able to give a lot of attention and one-on-one care! I split my time between San Francisco and Petaluma on our family farm. It’s a calm, simple environment and it’s usually just me and my two-year-old, who is very gentle and used to being around animals. About: Hi there, I’m Chris! I’ve had some kind of pet in my life ever since I was little, from cats to dogs to aquatic acquaintances! I currently have two cats that bring me so much happiness. I’ve been my friend’s and family’s go to pet sitter for many years due to my obvious love of pets and animals. About: I have always had animals growing up (cats, dogs, rabbits, horses) and took a break from having pets for schooling. I grew up in 4-H and FFA but stopped with animals after high school. Now I have a lab puppy who keeps me active. But would love to be around more pets. I’m a runner and love being outside. We got our puppy at 8 weeks and have done all of his training at home. About: I have always loved being around animals of all kind. I have a deep trust in them because of their innocent nature, and I am deeply compelled to love and protect them. I work part-time and have a fair amount of flexibility in my schedule for the time-being. I have a young male pup named Bigelow who loves to play with other dog-friendly doggos. He and I would love the company of other dogs at our home, out on leash walks, hikes and trail outings, and on off leash beach and park playdates. Biggy adapts to the playstyle of his friends; he is a wonderful combination of fast, agile, gentle and sweet, and naturally responds to the dominance/submission of his pals. I have a fenced yard with 1 young and friendly dog, and one indoor/outdoor kitty who reluctantly tolerates the presence of dogs who do not chase after him. There is an unheated pool that the dogs will have access to swim in. The pool will not be supervised constantly so it is important to know that your sweetie can swim if necessary, and can use the stairs to exit the pool. There are sunny and shady spots, stairs, deck space, and several dirt/grass spaces for potty spots. Doggies can roam freely and play around the fenced yard space, and will have access to indoors for meals, quiet times, rest times, and when weather insists. Doggies sleep indoors/outdoors on dog beds, crates, or the couch. Doggos need to be potty trained and should be able to sleep through the night without potty access until 7 am. Your doggy will be in safe and loving hands with us. It is our duty and honor to love and protect them as our own.
About: I have over ten years experience pet sitting and housesitting for multiple species, including dogs, cats, and reptiles. I have a strong passion for animals of anll kinds and I find it an honor to care for other people’s. Having a rescue dog of my own at one point in my life, and volunteering at a therapeutic equestrian center has helped me learn how to gain an animal’s trust in a short amount of time, even the most wary. I also offer basic organizing and cleaning services in addition during a housesitting job. I have worked independently with trainers for my own dogs and helped to train my current service dog. I am currently a part-time student at Santa Rosa junior college and have a very flexible schedule. My only time restrictions are class on Monday and Wednesday from around 1pm to 5pm and work part time as a respite caregiver on Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm to 5pm. Whether it’s checking on the animal throughout the day or spending the majority of my day with them, I always enjoy getting to know each different pet’s personality. So I have availabilities for drop in’s every day but less Mon.-Thu.. My Housesitting can be booked any time, as long as I can be away for somewhere between 4-8 hours when I’m going to class or work. I have my own vehicle, which has a seatbelt with a carabiner hook for any type of harness. This enables me to take them to any necessary vet appointments, go on trips to the park or the beach, or evacuate safely if there were any kind of natural disaster. I also have multiple size crates that I can bring if your animal would feel safer in those. No matter what, I will make sure your pet is kept safe, healthy, and happy in their own home.

About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. Most dogs love nature, and it's exciting to see them perk up on walks at the sound of chirping birds, rustling brush, or a skittering lizard. There are great dog-friendly nature paths in Novato and San Rafael that give the pups both sniffing and social opportunities, so they come home tired and content. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs, and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, patience, and exercise. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks.
