“Allen is the first person I’ve ever used on Rover. I started with one daycare, then one overnight and then proceeded to a 2 week stay for my 12 yo dog. I was very nervous bc she had never stayed with anyone who wasn’t family. Every time I picked her up and then dropped her off, I very carefully observed her behavior. She always wagged her tail and jumped right into him for scratches and would expose her belly for rubs. That made me feel comfortable. My dog is a fiery girl and nips if she is bothered. I warned Allen of her finicky senior behavior and he said she was overall fine. I provided him a notebook full of information but the most important was her medicine and he and his wife handled it like I asked. I would definitely ask Allen and his family again if we need another dog sitter. He sent pictures daily and responded very quickly. Thank you Allen!”

“Great experience. The meet and greet went well and I felt at ease when I brought my little rescue yorkie to meet Angelicas 2 dogs. They were playful and easy going. She was kind with a very positive and honest vibe that convinced me she was the right choice for this 3 day stay. Her daughter is not only a dog lover but treated her dogs and Oxford gently and with love. Those are the important things that any dog sitter should have especially with small breeds. Without me even mentioning it, she knew that she would feed Oxford in a calm and dog free environment so he could eat without distractions. “It's so hard to leave our pup for so many days (13). On our way to Brenda's we were feeling so guilty and sad despite knowing we were off to our dream trip to Hawaii. This was our second time using Brenda, so Max had been here before. As we got closer to her home, the dread was setting in fast and hard!! We pulled up feeling so guilty and depressed about having to leave him for so long and not being able to assure him we would be returning. When we arrived at Brenda and our dog realized where he was (it had been a year), He flew out of the car and ran to the front door wagging his tail, whimpering in happiness and sniffing at the door willing someone to open it. It was all we needed to realize that Brenda was the best. Our hearts quickly went from misery to joy. We originally chose Brenda because of all the repeat customers knowing pet owners are smart and care about their animals. Throughout our stay on Maui, Brenda kept us frequently updated with photos and reports and reassuring words. It really made all the difference. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip without feeling guilty or worried about our pup. When we picked up max, he was happy to see us but more so, didn't seem exhausted or stressed. In the past and with other sitters, he would sleep for a few days making us feel he was not fully rested and maybe felt stressed during his stay. With Brenda, he just comes home and acts like he would on any other day. In my mind, a good pet sitter does not just take care of the pet, but takes care of the family that is missing the pet as well. We can't thank Brenda and her family enough for putting our mind at ease and letting us enjoy our vacation.”

What I love about them is that someone is always home and they only take one dog at a time. They were quick to schedule a meet-and-greet and were very welcoming. Sophie got to meet their dog, Ellie, and they got along instantly. Ana and Mitchell were flexible, accommodating, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sophie’s needs were met. We set up a short doggy date for a couple of hours, and it went perfectly- Sophie didn’t even notice we had left! Since leaving Sophie is new for us, we appreciated the frequent updates and their respect for her schedule. She came home happy and content, and it was clear she had a great time. I have antibiotics, ear drops, antifungal cream and much more because I use to take care of animals that were abandoned and rescues. The only downside is I have a full time job and my days off Saturday’s, Sunday’s and Mondays’s. I have no problem dog sitting on my workdays but depends on your dogs needs. I work Tuesday- Friday and off Saturday-Monday. I can take care of your fur baby on my work days but it depends on your baby’s needs. I was born and raised on a farm and ever since 2005 when I was 4 I began to take responsibility of caring for dogs and cats of many breeds. I have a 1 year old male boxer and a 5 year old Himalayan cat. Both of my pets suffer from separation anxiety and back in 2018 I had two bunnies, 3 cats and one 7 year old male boxer. One bunny out of two suffered from separation anxiety along with my 7 year old boxer and two out of three cats had separation anxiety as well and abandonment issues from their previous owners. So I’m very skilled in handling animals that are dealing with anxiety and I’m great with handling seniors and high energy dogs. If you have any questions at all I am more than happy to answer them. I am currently available all day Monday - Friday. If I have any changes with my schedule it will be posted here. I treat all animals with pure love and respect. “Allen is the first person I’ve ever used on Rover. I started with one daycare, then one overnight and then proceeded to a 2 week stay for my 12 yo dog. I was very nervous bc she had never stayed with anyone who wasn’t family. Every time I picked her up and then dropped her off, I very carefully observed her behavior. She always wagged her tail and jumped right into him for scratches and would expose her belly for rubs. That made me feel comfortable. My dog is a fiery girl and nips if she is bothered. I warned Allen of her finicky senior behavior and he said she was overall fine. I provided him a notebook full of information but the most important was her medicine and he and his wife handled it like I asked. I would definitely ask Allen and his family again if we need another dog sitter. He sent pictures daily and responded very quickly. Thank you Allen!”

“It's so hard to leave our pup for so many days (13). On our way to Brenda's we were feeling so guilty and sad despite knowing we were off to our dream trip to Hawaii. This was our second time using Brenda, so Max had been here before. As we got closer to her home, the dread was setting in fast and hard!! We pulled up feeling so guilty and depressed about having to leave him for so long and not being able to assure him we would be returning. When we arrived at Brenda and our dog realized where he was (it had been a year), He flew out of the car and ran to the front door wagging his tail, whimpering in happiness and sniffing at the door willing someone to open it. It was all we needed to realize that Brenda was the best. Our hearts quickly went from misery to joy. We originally chose Brenda because of all the repeat customers knowing pet owners are smart and care about their animals. Throughout our stay on Maui, Brenda kept us frequently updated with photos and reports and reassuring words. It really made all the difference. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip without feeling guilty or worried about our pup. When we picked up max, he was happy to see us but more so, didn't seem exhausted or stressed. In the past and with other sitters, he would sleep for a few days making us feel he was not fully rested and maybe felt stressed during his stay. With Brenda, he just comes home and acts like he would on any other day. In my mind, a good pet sitter does not just take care of the pet, but takes care of the family that is missing the pet as well. We can't thank Brenda and her family enough for putting our mind at ease and letting us enjoy our vacation.”

“Yuhong took care of my kitty while I was on a long vacation. We met prior to ensure Meru could meet Yuhong and it was clear Meru was going to be in great hands. Usually my neighbors will feed my cats while I’m on trips, but one of my cats crossed the rainbow bridge recently, and it gave me such peace of mind that Meru was not alone and had ample sweet and caring company with Yuhong and her husband. Meru had never been away from our home so she (and I) was nervous at first, but warmed up to Yuhong quickly. Yuhong played with Meru twice a day to keep her spirits up. I’m grateful this worked out and to have found a wonderful sitter moving forward!”
