“Caring for geriatric dogs is never easy, and Lisa along with her son did a nice job over the recent holiday weekend. Although my Snuggles is a sweet pup, she doesn’t always go by the script - and Lisa did a nice job adapting. Snuggles sometimes resists taking her medication and is a bit of a loner, and when in the presence of other dogs and not in her familiar surroundings she becomes anxious and develops the shakes. I think what impressed me most was Lisa’s genuine concern for Snuggles’ care. We remained in constant contact each day with pictures of my little girl. It took a few days but Snuggles seems to have recovered. So while I wouldn’t be able to utilize Lisa’s services in her home again because of her other pet, I would definitely call on Lisa to stay with Snuggles in our home. You can be sure your pet is safe with Lisa and Logan.”

One of my cats is diabetic and needs insulin shots twice daily. Erica came to my house twice a day, 12 hours apart, for almost 2 months like clockwork. She was so kind, gentle and dependable. She clearly knows and loves animals. One night my diabetic cat was having a hard time with his diabetes. About: Hi, my name is Bree! Currently, my only pet is a cat, but I grew up with chihuahuas, a bird, and have pet sat for many friends and family members. After moving away from my hometown, I missed hanging out with all type of animals, so I decided to start pet sitting again. About: I was given the opportunity to work for a major pet store after moving to Austin, TX which is where I realized how beautiful it is to have a family member with a snout, funny ears, and a wagging tail! A bit about me: Daily exercise and nutrition are very important to me, therefore, I spend most of my free time cooking, cleaning, and exercising. I love the outdoors so you can frequently find me riding my bike on or jogging. Naturally, you and your dog(s) are welcome to join in! While your pup is under my care, we will work towards having the time of our lives (within the allotted time lol). The first thing after waking up would start with the quick backyard potty break, followed by breakfast, and then playtime. Some of my favorite parks in the area are Harry Griffin or Mast Park in Santee. The big, almost theme park for dogs would be Fiesta Island or a nice, clean dog beach. Then of course I would have to bathe your pet because nobody likes a stinky, muddy, or sandy pup! Your dog would also NOT be left alone for more than up to five hours with water, treats, and chew toy! After that, they would get some extra attention and likely play outdoors along with a shower of kindness, smiles, handshakes, and, of course, belly rubs and treats. If misbehavior from your pet should occur, no inhumane discipline will take place. They will simply be startled by a loud sound to alert the pup to stop. Worst case scenario: if they bite or ruin any furniture, you may be held responsible for any damages, but you need not worry! Thanks for reading and also for any positivity sent my way. It helps me continue taking care of your pets, fur babies, best friends, and most loyal companions. I truly enjoy and appreciate the time taken to meet and to work with you and your pet(s). I am fully available to your companion. Be it for one hour or one day or even a week! The only obligations I have are, like most, family. I am also in the Army National Guard, which makes me unavailable at unexpected times on rare and seldom occasions. I have a tall, fenced-in yard with edible pet grass designed explicitly for your dog(s) to potty-train. On the extra hot days, a comfy off-ground cot with a cooling mat and shaded canopy is available, along with a small pool of water for your dog to enjoy while they are here with me. No burned paws or dehydrated pets allowed :-P I also have plenty of chew toys and energy to entertain your dog with fetch, tug a war, and lots of outdoor running. Lastly, I offer a bed in a comfortable kennel for dogs with no severe behavior issues such as yelping, whining, and barking, mostly puppy's still learning the basics such as potty training. Dogs will be separated and placed in a kennel during short, unsupervised moments, such as quick runs to the store or during feeding time.
About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs within my family and my own friend’s dogs and cats as well. I have always liked being around pets of all kind. I am currently in the process of finding a part time job, so I can make time with any and all pets. This means I am available during any day and any time. At home, I have a dog named Ajax who primarily stays in our fenced in front yard. He has access to outside through my own room. His food and water bowl is set in my own room and he sleeps in my room as well either on my carpeted floor or my own bed. I refill his water bowl once a day or it depends on how dirty he makes it and only give him only a bowl of food a day.

About: I’ve actually had all kinds of pets my whole life, dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, hamsters, turtles so I can confidently say I’m attentive to each one’s personality, habits, needs. I’ve welcomed many stray dogs and cats into my home to care for them and feed them and rehome them. I’ve potty/litter trained countless times and I can train them for meal times, to sit or give paw(dogs), to not scratch the couch(cats). In the last 4 years in particular, family members have asked me to pop by and check on and feed their babies. One household has two very loving and hyper dogs ages 2 & 3 yrs old that have a specific diet and meal times. They are potty trained outside so I walk them 2-3x a day depending on the hours I watch them. Second household has one 14 yr old dog and a 2 yr old cat, also with their own diets and meal times. The dog uses pee pads as she’s older and potty trained outside as well. Third household has 7 cats that range from 1 yr old to 7 yrs old. They’re all more free spirited and independent as they look after each other, they all eat at the same time and have indoor and outdoor privileges. I currently have full and open availability. I’d love to gain more experience looking after pets. My cat is very independent and clean, as long as I feed him in the morning and evening and keep his litter box clean, he’s a very good boy. It gives me the confidence to be able to help someone else with their fur babies either for work or trips. I can do from simply check-ins or stay in nights at a time with them. Im super flexible. As of right now, unfortunately I don’t have the proper space to bring others pets in ): but I am more than dependable and respectful to care for furbabies in their own home. Anything from simple and winging it to a list of instructions, your furbaby won’t see me as an intruder, but as their company.

About: Hey! My name is Chris… also known as Cherry’s Dad. I am very enthusiastic about people’s pets, have had dogs my entire life and will continue to be a dog person forever and ever. Fun fact: my mom owns a dog grooming shop in LA! I’ve worked a lot in the shop and have handled literally hundreds of pet dogs. After 15 years in corporate, I’m now a Business owner with flexibility in my schedule. I walk my own pet 3 times a day, and frequently take breaks to complete my put duties! At home, I pay attention to the dogs signals and adjust accordingly - are they happy? Nervous? Thirsty? Whining? I speak pretty good dog by listening. During walks, I never allow strangers, especially children, to approach someone’s dog I am in control of who isn’t mine.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. I have trained a lot of puppies in my lifetime. I also have taken care of senior dogs, which I personally think are the cutest. I also have a spacious living room and dining room area with no furniture. Spacious for small animals, their crates, and their zoomies! I do not have any pets or children.
