My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

With my vet experience, I can spot subtle signs of illness, can give eye drops, oral medication, and injectable medications. Working at a vet hospital also means I worked with a wide array of different dog (and cat!) breeds and temperaments. Special accommodations can be made to ensure everyone’s safety (within reason). I am familiar with the more stubborn and hard headed breeds, even owning some of them in the past. I also have basic obedience training knowledge, so I can help with puppy training. I of course love all pets, but I have a special place in my heart for senior pets! You can guarantee patient and gentle care will be provided to them. For you — I can do some light housekeeping, bring in the mail/packages, and take care of any houseplants. We also have a new puppy who is very friendly as well. I only take in small to medium dogs - larger dogs are just not a good fit for my pups. About: I was raised with all types of dogs around me including Labradors, chihuahuas, pit bulls, and terriers. I dog sit for a few family friends that trust me to care for their pets while they are out of town. I am currently flexible in my day to day schedule so I am available most of the week. I am open to do walks, drop ins, or house sit if needed. While I don’t have my own place to keep your dog, I am more than willing to care of your dog at your home. I have reliable references who have let me stay at their homes weeks-months at a time to care for their pets. We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.
