Our dog was welcomed in as one of the family, such a different experience than the big boarding facilities we have tried previously. When we came to pick her up, our dog greeted us and then ran back to say goodbye to Brandie. We would definitely send our dog to Brandie again.”

About: Hello animal lovers - I have benefitted from Rover for dog sitting and realize it's something I'd love to do myself. My husband (a social worker) and I are both dog lovers and have a dog (a Frenchie) as well. I work from home (I run a marketing agency I started 12 year ago) and alas much of typical day I'm on zoom, and treasure the breaks for walking and loving on the dogs. While new to Rover, if been helping out friends and neighbors with dog care and logistics and sharing the love for years I'm reliable, work from home, and would love to know how you could use some help. Currently offering to sit or board one dog at a time or arrange prescheduled walks. I'll treat them like family. Comfortable with dogs of many sizes and personalities, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! Our dog Fiona, a frenchie, plays well with others and has some unique needs including no rough play + daily medicine needs so we're familiar with special rules and medical needs. While flexible, I imagine at least initially the primary offering will be to host and care for your dog at our place but am open to house sitting if there's a great fit, I work from home. “Sarah and her family are fantastic! We were in town for a wedding and brought our dog, Mr. Kirby. We booked an overnight for the wedding night. Coming from far away and booking a sitter not in your town is a bit scary, but she had great reviews, and now we know why. She was very communicative even beforehand, and after we dropped our baby off, we didn't have time to worry, because she sent us so many photos and updates! She knows exactly what dog owners want to know, too: if he ate, if he pooped lol, everything! She also saved a puppy tooth that he lost while there, which was so sweet! He looked so happy in the photos with her husband and sweet son! She was careful introducing him to her dogs (which we appreciated), since he was only there one night, and he met and did well with her cat, which is the kind of exposure we want for him. We would definitely use her again if we come back to town. When we picked up Mr. Kirby, he was happy but made sure to turn around to give Sarah some love before we left, which gave my heart a warm feeling. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was about 11, so 7 years or so. I am very comfortable with both big and little animals, ranging from hamsters to horses. I have experience with senior animals, big dogs, horses, chickens, pigs, cats, and more. I am currently attending the SRJC, but only have online classes as of now so my schedule is very open to fit your needs. I like any excuse to get some exercise so I'd be more than happy to fit in a few walks a day with your pets, as well as house sitting, boarding, and drop ins. I am very flexible on pay, please just let me know what you need from me and what you're able to pay, I will take pretty much any job. I have a large open yard that is fenced in the front, but has a small (very shallow; no risk of drowning) creek running along the back, providing a natural sort of fence with nothing but a field behind it. In the past I have worked as a pet and house sitter for a couple families. I always enjoy any time spent with animals. I have flexible schedule making me available to care for your fur babies! I have cared for dogs with special needs, such as epilepsy, senior dogs and puppies. I have done basic dog training courses with my 30 lb tripod dog and volunteered walking dogs at my local shelter. I will treat your furry family member with love and care! I work remotely from 8-4:30 pm most weekdays, so I’m available to provide attention and fun for your pet most of the day. I usually go to the office on Mondays and Thursdays, but have flexibility to accommodate if your pet cannot be alone for 8 hours. I am an active person and would love to take your dog to the park or beach or for walks on trails, if they do well in those settings. If your dog is lower energy, I can match that energy too! I am excellent at following directions and will follow your pets normal schedule. I am observant and will pay attention to your pet’s well-being. You can expect clear and consistent communication if you trust me with your furry family member. I am happy to take your dog for multiple walks a day and accommodate special food or medication schedules. I am a respectful, clean, non-smoker, in my 30s. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was about 11, so 7 years or so. I am very comfortable with both big and little animals, ranging from hamsters to horses. I have experience with senior animals, big dogs, horses, chickens, pigs, cats, and more. I am currently attending the SRJC, but only have online classes as of now so my schedule is very open to fit your needs. Coming from far away and booking a sitter not in your town is a bit scary, but she had great reviews, and now we know why. She was very communicative even beforehand, and after we dropped our baby off, we didn't have time to worry, because she sent us so many photos and updates! She knows exactly what dog owners want to know, too: if he ate, if he pooped lol, everything! She also saved a puppy tooth that he lost while there, which was so sweet! He looked so happy in the photos with her husband and sweet son! She was careful introducing him to her dogs (which we appreciated), since he was only there one night, and he met and did well with her cat, which is the kind of exposure we want for him. We would definitely use her again if we come back to town. When we picked up Mr. Kirby, he was happy but made sure to turn around to give Sarah some love before we left, which gave my heart a warm feeling. About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. If your dog loves to hike, we regularly go for hikes on the trails around Sonoma County, or to Dillon Beach to run around off leash.
