“I spent a lot of time searching on the website to find someone I could truly trust with my puppies. I know most people on the platform are great, but as a first-time dog owner with two puppies, I was honestly very nervous. Because of that, I usually didn’t travel and only left them for short periods while friends stayed at my home. This time, after a lot of searching, I found Chong. Before confirming the booking, I asked if I could visit her home first, and she kindly agreed. When we arrived, she welcomed us warmly, took my puppies herself, and brought them inside. The professional and confident way she handled everything immediately made me feel comfortable and trust her. During their stay, she sent me photos every day, which made me feel so reassured. On the last day, she even gave them a bath. We were actually planning to bathe them ourselves, so that was such a wonderful surprise. We were supposed to pick them up about an hour earlier, but our flight was delayed, our luggage took a long time, and several highways were closed. Everything caused us to arrive late, but she was still very kind and stayed up to wait for us so we could pick them up.”

One of our pups ruptured her CCL a week before our trip, and this was one of those trips that wasn't going to be cancelled or moved. Amanda was able to easily accommodate the updated meds and keep us updated on how Emma seemed to be doing with her injury. Her background as a vet tech helped put our minds at ease and Emma and Otto were in some of the most capable hands during our trip. Our whole family loved the photos and videos provided and Emma and Otto had a blast and made themselves totally comfortable with Amanda and her sweet family. About: Hello my name is Melba, I grew up taking care of animals at a very young age. I volunteered for an animal shelter for six years. At the shelter I would interact with cats and dogs. I would play with them as well as take them on walks. I am comfortable around all dogs and cats and I am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your pet. About: I have had pets for most of my life. My family and I currently have one very playful dog, two cats and a bearded dragon. I, along with my family, have cared for family, friends and neighbors pets for several years now. About: I recently took a break from dog sitting to focus on caring for my baby. Now that things have settled into a routine, I'm excited to start accepting bookings again! I have 6+ years dog-sitting experience with dogs of many different sizes and temperaments. Personally I have a 85 pound German Shepherd mix, Turbo, a 40 pound labradoodle, Maple, and an 80 pound Rottie/GSD mix named Tater. I thoroughly enjoy playing with them everyday and have learned many training techniques from raising them. I have a great deal of experience caring for a highly allergic and anxious dog. I have a large (2.3 acre), fully-fenced backyard for optimal play! I have three friendly dogs who would love to show your dog all the best sniff spots. I've taken a dog CPR class to better understand the warning signs of a dog in distress, and what actions to take in an emergency. I have loved and cared for: -kittens, senior cats, and pregnant cats -puppies, senior dogs, and pregnant dogs I’ve also had birds, fish, and bunnies. I love dogs and currently have one 8 month old shepherd rescue that I have been (mostly) independently training at home as well as 2 cats- one whom is 6 years that I adopted when she was only 8 weeks and another that was a stray that my husband & I took in. All our animals are very loved and having them be a part of our lives has been our favorite adventure together 🥰 I am working at a school this year & going back around mid August but during this summer I will be available to check in/walk your dogs throughout the week because I know a busy workday can be stressful when you have your pets at home that would love attention & fun. Whatever your scheduling need is, I would love to discuss how I can be that best fit for you & your fur babies! Since I already have my dog to walk 2-3 times a day, I would love to be able to bring your dog along with us! My trailer park has a private park and is along an easy accessible trail so I can definitely bring your dog here or wherever you prefer we go! I am close by San Marcos and have taken my dog to Bradley Park and Discovery Lake so we would love to bring your fur babies along too!
About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life. Grew up in the country enjoying the luxury of having many fur babies. I also spent many years volunteering at a humane society, learning about the different dog breeds. I specialized in the rescue cases. I know how hard it is to juggle work, travel, etc. when you have pets. I want to help ease your worries. I’m here to help! I recently just relocated from Hawaii so my schedule is very open while I look for full time employment. I’m here for whatever your pet needs. I will follow your pet care instructions that best suits your fur baby. Each pet is different in their needs and wants so I will customize for each.
About: I used to volunteer at the SPCA animal shelter. I also used to house sit for two families and two dogs each time for a week. I have also done a little bit of dog walking here and there. I’m open and available all summer! I can work any day of the week and times would vary so just let me know what times! I can not offer in home boarding because I do live with other roommates who are allergic to dogs, but I am happy to fulfill any services you need!

One of our pups ruptured her CCL a week before our trip, and this was one of those trips that wasn't going to be cancelled or moved. Her background as a vet tech helped put our minds at ease and Emma and Otto were in some of the most capable hands during our trip. About: I am new to Rover but not new to pet or house sitting in general. I have sat dogs and cats while family and friends have gone on extended vacations. I am fully background checked (teacher by trade). I love to go on walks and am great with consistency/expectations if your dog is in a training program. I am a teacher who is off for the summer with no vacation plans! I can dedicate a lot of time to checking on your cat or taking care of your dog. Dogs will have the run of the downstairs and opportunities for backyard play during the day but will be expected to stay crated/in pen at night. Feedings happen on the schedule you provide and dogs will get at least two walks a day. Doggos will be treated like they belong in my house. If interested in drop ins for cat care, I will play with your cat, provide pets and head scritches, check on food and water, and remove litter box waste. It is important to me that your pets feel safe and that their routine isn’t disrupted too much. So a meet and greet for us to both feel comfortable about your pet’s care is a must!
About: I am a PET LOVER . I treat my furry four legged friends like family members. My house consists of three young children 12 and under who adore pets and are a huge part of the positive environment in my home - lots of love and warmth. During the most part of the day ... the kids are at school. My husband works from home and I'm currently at home not working. I have one five year old Golden Retriever and one fifteen year old Siamese cat who sleeps for the majority of time. I allow my dog to roam downstairs which is plenty of space for first floor. My entire house is 3400 square feet . The dogs are welcome to go in and out as they please . My fenced in backyard space will allow for plenty of sunshine and lizard watching time ( my dogs favorite thing to do). There are dog beds - several around the lower level and my husbands office is downstairs so this is where copper hangs out most of the day . Please feel free to send your pets own bed or comfort items. My furry guy gets walks during the day and also frequent visits to the dog park for ball throwing which he absolutely adores . I can either stick to leashed walks or happy to take your baby along to get a ball throwing work out . I have been around pets my whole life. Whatever it is you need or request--I can handle . Special diet, medication and seniors - I've done it all. I am currently not working and spend a lot of time in the house besides dropping my kids to and from school. They will get plenty of human interaction, rubs , walks and treats ! Our house is bustling with energy while the kids are home. If it's a week day then it will be quiet most of the day while they are at school. Copper and any dog friends visiting get to come and go as they please . We have a fenced in back yard. Copper loves to get sunshine , vitamin D and his favorite acvitivty is patrolling the premises for lizards that may be hiding under patio furniture or the deck box. My husband works from home and has his office downstairs so copper loves to hang out in there and be next to his human friend while he's resting . I have lots of dog beds placed in various spots around the house . I only let copper ( and his dog friends) downstairs which is very spacious. The dogs are allowed to lay on the couch. They will get walks and trips to the dog park for ball throwing if they like that sort of thing (my boy loves playing catch). I am excited to welcome your baby inside my home while you are away.
