Sherry responded quickly and offered to have my dogs over for a meet and greet, which we accepted, we met Sherry at her home, her two dogs were there as well and she let my dogs, Louie and Joey get familiar with their home and backyard. Sherry was very easy to communicate with, via the Rover app and I received 2 picture updates of my fur babies while I was away. I really enjoyed the fact that they are retired and home most of the day to care for all the dogs they are boarding. When I dropped off my dogs there were 5 other small dogs already there. They have a good system of getting dogs in and out of the house without causing too much excitement for the other pups. Louie & Joey will be staying here again in the future.”

About: I live in a quiet neighborhood that’s great for walks and like 2 minutes away from a park I also have a 1 year old playful pup (female). She does really well with other dogs (lots of butt sniffing when she first meets them) She will help make your pup super happy and will probably tire them out. She’s a German Shepard husky so she may be a little intrusive. But I give lots of love and cuddles to the pups. And even while I’m away I have two other people who will still give love to the pup ! (If extra potty breaks needed) I also don’t mind driving to the local dog park to provide extra exercise and more friends for the pups.

About: I worked as a behavioral tech for over a year where I learned all about behavioral training. I’ve had great success with my own dog at home. We have almost always had a dog in my house and know how important of a family member they are. I dog sit for several families when they go on vacation and have been doing this for about a year or so. My background is with children and have a lot of patience and love as a result! I am available full time as of right now. If this changes, I will update my availability ASAP. I wouldn’t be away from the home for very long most of the time. Any occasion where I would be away from the home for a significant amount of time, I would first make sure that the dog was completely cared for (fed, watered, pottied, and played with) before leaving. I will not be providing care in my own home. However, I do know of a dog park in the area as well as public parks for walks.

About: Where your dog will be on its own vacation !!!! I grew up having two huskies and now have a friendly playful husky that is 6 months old and one German Shepard Mix who is 5. Both of my dogs are female. It’s important your dog is up-to-date on all their vaccinations and given a monthly flea treatment. I’ve been around dogs all my life. I have 25 years experience with dogs. They are desperately looking for new playmates.. I have a huge backyard that is 6500 square feet for dogs to play. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well taken care of. “Achara was such a blessing for us. We were literally leaving in 1 day, down to crunch time, and freaking out because our girls have never been away from home. She did a meet and greet that afternoon, and was so easy going, very friendly, and even suggested if we wanted to make the transition for our babies easier, that we could bring them that same evening, as an option too. She was friendly and welcoming, her down to earth demeanor spoke volumes. My son and I liked her right from the start. Once we received our first update text and picture, my husband felt reassured, more and at ease in our decision. She kept in communication with us, put us at ease with the whole process (clear communication, the payment process because it was our first time with Rover as well) and gave us both pictures and updates of how they were doing. She respected our dogs' boundaries, as well as gave them options with sleeping arrangements. We knew our dogs were in the perfect hands while we were gone. We definitely will be making plans in the near future, either for over night or even just for the day. About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. From cats, to smaller dogs, to large golden doodles, I’ve had the pleasure of watching a variety of animals. I’ve watched animals overnight while administering medicine, so I have experience with both boarding and taking care of the animal’s health. That includes senior animals that need extra love in diapers or extra medicine. I also am pursuing an animals degree, so I understand the basic functions of animals. I work part time 3 days a week, but go home every two hours so I would be able to regularly check on your animal. The rest of my week is free and I would dedicate plenty of time to your pet. I have a fenced backyard with a doggie door that can be opened or closed. This allows animals to either have unlimited access to the outside or controlled access depending on the animal and owner’s preference. I have no resident animals in the house so your pet will receive all my attention! Two other adults in the house to give extra love!
