“I am happy we found Xiaokun. Our foster fail puppy who is a 6 month German Shepherd went to him for multiple doggy day care days and one boarding visit. She came back each time happy and tired. Also loved that on the doggy day care days he took our pup on awesome hikes/walks and sent pics for our peace of mind. About: I have been taking care of pets basically all my life, at my grandma house we use to have a lot of animals, and she taught me the love that they need and now I want to keep sharing that love. I’m a staying at home mom for now so I have most of the time free to play with animals, give them love and take care of them. At my house we have plenty of space where they can stay and play and where I’m able to take care of them all the time
“We boarded our German shepherd (Bentley) with Ken for nearly 2 weeks while we were out of the country. We were extremely happy with the way Ken took care of our Bentley. Ken was very professional and extremely caring towards Bentley. He was flexible with the drop-off/pick-up timings. He kept us up to date with pictures and videos almost every day :) I even had to suggest that he didn't need to send pictures & videos that often :) Bentley has made friends with Neo, which is wonderful for us coz Bentley wouldn't easily mingle with other pets. About: We’ve had pets all our lives. Currently, we have two cats. For the most part, someone is always WFH. The only day one of us isn’t WFH is Thursday. If we know early enough, we can flex our schedules if any sitting is needed on Thursday. We’ve watched bunnies, cats, and dogs for friends/family including giving medication. We have had no aggression from our pets with the pets we’ve watched. We have a second room(atm being used as an office/guest room), so if you want your pet separate from ours pets, that is something we can accommodate. For dogs during boarding, our household prefers dogs that tend to ignore our cats. Also, we have a preference for senior dogs since they tend to be low energy and do not require long walks to use the restroom. For cats, we have experience with all kinds of energy and ages. If you have a cat with a lot of energy, our Taro girl has shown that she loves playing with all the energetic kitties and helps them come out of their shell. However, both our cats can adapt to senior cats as they both love to lounge. We are willing to negotiate our prices if you believe your pet to be low maintenance or if for example doggy daycare, your pet would be with us for less than 7 hours. Just ask and we can see what we can do during the meet and greet. There is usually always someone at home except Thursday. If you need sitting help on a Thursday, reach out early and we can see about flexing our WFH schedule for that week. One of us is a morning person and the other an evening person in case you have a pet with a weird schedule. We ask for a clear schedule such as when to walk and feed and follow it. This information will always vary depending on the pet or even if they are on medication. For all pets, we’ve given them some space, especially from our pets and seen if they can interact or not depending on what their owners want. We also try to incorporate playtime if they want that.

About: I’ve spent the last few years caring for dogs in many different situations — from energetic German Shepherds on a farm to the gentle white shepherd I rescued and raised myself. In 2021, I worked on a farm where I fed, cleaned, and played with four shepherds daily. When one of their puppies was seriously injured, I took him home, cared for him, and helped him recover fully. He has been with me ever since. Because of this experience, many friends now bring their dogs to me whenever they travel. We tailor our approach to each animal's personality, whether that means a structured routine, extra quiet time, or simply consistent companionship throughout the day. For longer stays we can send pictures too. We have an established relationship with our own veterinarian and are comfortable handling special needs animals, including pets on medication schedules, seniors with mobility or dietary needs, or animals recovering from illness or injury. This comes directly from over 20 years of fostering through Furry Friends Rescue, where we regularly cared for animals with medical or behavioral needs that required extra attention and consistency. Whatever the service, boarding, drop-in visits, or house sitting, your pet gets a safe, secure environment, plenty of space, and two experienced caregivers who know how to watch for and respond to their individual needs.

About: I raised my own Scottish Terrier from 2010 to 2022. I would walk Terry with other dogs around Lake Elizabeth anytime there was the sun in the sky I’m free anytime from 8am to 2pm. I typically go for a walk around 9am or 10am anyways throughout the week or weekends so I would love any doggy companion. I live in a brand new apartment complex by Lake Elizabeth in Fremont. I love going for daily walks and bringing dogs to the dog park or a ring around the lake!
